Kamie Bushman has loved the gospel from an early age. In her life she's moved 12 times, and lived in 7 states, but the gospel has always been a constant. She currently hails from Washington State.
Kamie graduated Cum Laude from BYU with a Bachelor's in nutritional science a year early, which allowed her to follow her husband to Washington for dental school. Twelve years later they now have four children, the youngest of which is named Eve after mother Eve, who is dear to Kamie’s heart. In her early years of mothering, Kamie spent her free time chasing the dream of becoming a writer. After ten years of working on a manuscript, however, she felt God pointing her in another direction. In 2021, Kamie gave up writing to homeschool her own children and a handful of others in a one room schoolhouse. There she has discovered the joy of finding God's hand throughout history and is teaching her students to do the same. She loves having the spirit in the classroom and feels it is a little piece of Zion.
Recently, Kamie has felt impressed to put her life experiences to use by helping others along the covenant path through a RUclips series titled Principles of Power. Kamie has great compassion for the many who find themselves unnecessarily stuck, not knowing how to access the power that Christ intended for us through His gospel. She highlights eternal truths that, when followed, create a powerful trajectory of spiritual momentum. She loves quoting President Nelson as often as possible, and hopes her small efforts can be a part of the work he's asked us to do - to become a people able, ready, and worthy to meet the Lord when he comes.

Thank you for this, it has given me courage to let go of the worlds demands and allow God to prevail in my life.
I have decided to put my complete trust in the Lord by walking away from a very demanding and exhausting job (adversary’s way to keep me distracted).
It is scary to take a leap of faith not knowing where my income will come from but I need to sacrifice this distraction in order to fulfill my mission in life.
I needed this today, thank you.

After my divorce in 2014 I left the church because I felt abandoned by God. A year later I returned to Him and realized He was always there even though I withdrew from Him. Since then He has helped me be reborn and has taken me on such an amazing journey.
