Thanks for this! Yeah Imaginary Friend is magnificent. They have a performance video that highlights the choreo and surprisingly the English version of the song is great too. Nemo Nemo has grown a lot on me... It's great for blasting in the car on the way to work.
Imaginary Friend is definitely one of the best songs ITZY has released and went straight into my top 2 or 3. The MV is also my favorite they have done. As someone who did not enjoy Gold I couldn't be happier with this. The rest of the album is also amazing so I can't be too upset that Gold isn't to my taste.
Day6 is going crazy with popularity right now. They've been getting multiple RAKS here and there and is currently the only boygroup (so far) to achieve PAK this year and with a bside too. They've been defeating their own records from this comeback to the point that there's a joke among us that says "Wow, DAY6 surpassed DAY6. Congrats to DAY6, and it's a shame for DAY6, but they're doing great.” because there was one point during this comeback where 4 songs of day6 (all from different albums too) charted in the TOP5 in most of Korean streaming sites and they're getting invited so much in basically everything in Korea (variety shows, festivals, even sports events) to the point that they had to reject 15 universities inviting them to their festival because their schedule can't handle it anymore. They're just THAT popular in Korea that these days they're always named among some of the biggest artists you'd know in Korea and that's so crazy to think when you're a fan from their early days. I'm just so happy for them and to think that they're always grateful for all the love they're receiving and never took it for granted. Oh Day6, never change.
I think it makes sense for Gold to come out first tbh. It’s like a “!” and more of a celebration of Lia coming back and picking up right where they left off. I think it laid the groundwork for “Imaginary Friend” to hit as hard as it does because it’s not our re-introduction to Lia, and instead we can just focus on how phenomenally everyone performs.

I saw them barely on 2019 and then covid happened, and hiatus happened, and also day6 has so many songs, many songs you’ll get to here this time, you will never be able to hear live again. So yeah, 100% must go imo! Also, tbh this song feels more like them singing to the fans because mydays stuck with them during all their turmoil and gave them their biggest popularity during covid with zombie. I think it’s safe ro assume they might not have been here now, at least in this capacity if their potential had not been demonstrated like that with zombie. I think that was the one time mydays really tried hard to put them on the map. The best part is, their success now is just organic. I love that as their fan. Also I was not fully happy with the previous album but bandaid is spectacular. Please listen to the whole thing in order. First monster, then melt down just makes sooooo much sense. And monster is SUCH a good song. I think I dislike the lyrics of only one song in this album but love all the songs otherwise so I am really looking forward to your opinions. Imaginary Friend is so freaking good. I liked "Gold" a lot, but I've always preferred their b-sides or alt title tracks and this is another record where the b-sides are so, so amazing. "Bad Girls R Us" is another gem.

Here in the Philippines they chose the same venue as the one they used last 2019, I thought they would be choosing a bigger venue then but the tickets are not sold out yet so idk about here but in other places it is getting sold out immediately because of the small venue.

I think you hit a pretty interesting point. DAY6 despite their military service break and hiatuses, is more popular than ever on all of the Korean charts. They've really captured the nostalgic timeless sound over and over again, really cool to see older songs trending way after they were released. I really got to get to know their full discography before the US tour dates to make the most of their time over here.
