Hearing this (and the Wild theme) actually made me feel super emotional and nostalgic, Black was my first mainline game so I freaked out when I heard this. It's SO GOOD!
My first Pokémon game ever was White Version 2, it got stolen from me when I left it inside my 2DS in a car sometime after I got to Humilau City in the game. I was pretty upset about it, but this year I bought a used copy for a slightly cheaper price than average considering the state of the cartridge and box. While it wasn't cheap, it was worth it, not only was I able to relive moments of my childhood, but I also kicked every Gym Leader's butt and almost breezed through the Elite Four, the Champion was a bit thougher, though.

A remix so fire if you told me they made it for Smash Bros I wouldn't bat an eye. Like my fudging god this remix is so good, I love the techno, guitar combo. My favourite part is defo 0:58 where it briefly transitions to the Blueberry Academy motif and utilises the falling notes as a drop for the next section of the original battle theme, I cannot describe the levels of dopamine injected by my brain upon hearing it. We did not deserve a theme so absolutely bopping! Pokemon's music rarely disappoints but GOD DAMN! I liked the original but this, probably my favourite trainer battle theme of all time!
Thanks for including the trainer eye-catch part at the beginning. The BW Trainer Battle theme remains my favorite trainer battle theme to date, so it felt amazing to hear this for the first time. If Unova remakes are indeed happening, I’m looking forward to hearing how different that version’s trainer battle theme sounds from this one (unless ofc this version is actually a preview for the remakes)
I liked that they added this in not only cause it's been a banger since 2010 but also cause it's reminds you that you're in Unova. Not a place in Unova we've been to (which I like, really expands the world even in familiar locations) but Unova nonetheless.

What a great remix! As much as i love the original, I think I like this version a little more. The section at 0:56 is my favorite new addition. It just sounds more exciting than the original!
And the story and characters they did amazing with gen 9 if it wasn’t for the frame rate issues and graphics these Pokemon games would be the best Pokemon games ever period at least in awhile because let’s be honest at least imo Gen 8 was a huge letdown story was boring and so were the characters

For 1# Unova starters aren’t all Bipedal Humaniods like Hoenn trio 2# First gen to have actual character arcs for most of the NPCs like the gym leaders have more than just batting them, Dark matured story with literal philosophy & checkers ect. Unova being hated for its mons when Hoenn started it yet gets ignored. Hoenn started the friendly rival, linear map & humaniod starters trend, and it has by far the most boring “evil” teams and music. Not tryna hate but everything gen 5 is hated for started with gen 3 lmao.

Hearing this hit me like a truck. Felt like I was my eight year old self experiencing Gen 5 again for the first time. Those games meant a lot to me growing up, and I'm so happy that Scarlet and Violet did its music justice.

This is one of those few times when they take a piece of music and make it sound so new and amazing while also keeping it with the same energy, flow, and rhythm as the original. I almost teared up when I first heard this, since the Gen 5 games where the ones that I spent the most hours on (last time I checked). GameFreak cooked with this one. Really takes you on a trip to memory lane while also showing you the present day at the same time. Wow. Just wow
When I first heard the opening as you battle Lacey, I had goosebumps…Unova has always had such a special place in my heart, I immediately recognised it and all the other small musical nods around the terrarium. Made me feel so happy as a Unova fanboy
Honestly I love how the dlc for this game directly referenced two other regions with Kitakami referencing Sinnoh/Hisui and the blueberry academy being in unova, I hope future games dlc reference earlier regions like this

Kinda disappointing N doesn't show up as a super boss. The terrarium is a perfect place to see someone like him. They could even give him a friend Genesect as a fun Easter egg.

If felt so good to hear some really great regular trainer battle themes after more then a decade. The 3DS era onward just felt like okay battle themes but we're easily forgettable conpared to the 2D game era. I instantly recognized this theme from Unova as soon as the battle started

Hearing this hit me like a truck. Felt like I was my eight year old self experiencing Gen 5 again for the first time. Those games meant a lot to me growing up, and I'm so happy that Scarlet and Violet did its music justice.

This is one of those few times when they take a piece of music and make it sound so new and amazing while also keeping it with the same energy, flow, and rhythm as the original. I almost teared up when I first heard this, since the Gen 5 games where the ones that I spent the most hours on (last time I checked). GameFreak cooked with this one. Really takes you on a trip to memory lane while also showing you the present day at the same time. Wow. Just wow
They added a section of BB academy’s theme in and it’s so cute
When I first heard the opening as you battle Lacey, I had goosebumps…Unova has always had such a special place in my heart, I immediately recognised it and all the other small musical nods around the terrarium. Made me feel so happy as a Unova fanboy

Honestly I love how the dlc for this game directly referenced two other regions with Kitakami referencing Sinnoh/Hisui and the blueberry academy being in unova, I hope future games dlc reference earlier regions like this

Kinda disappointing N doesn't show up as a super boss. The terrarium is a perfect place to see someone like him. They could even give him a friend Genesect as a fun Easter egg.

If felt so good to hear some really great regular trainer battle themes after more then a decade. The 3DS era onward just felt like okay battle themes but we're easily forgettable conpared to the 2D game era. I instantly recognized this theme from Unova as soon as the battle started

Just as gen 4 fans got teased with Ultra Sun Ultra Moon instead of sinnoh remakes, it seems Unova fans are also getting teased with a lot of gen 5 representation, only to have the remakes or Legends Unova games be delayed again
