MPG on my UX 250 h, after nine months of driving in a variety of situations, is actually 42.8 Have not reset the trip meter since February. It is an amazingly comfortable, quiet, and efficient vehicle. Your reviews are awesome.
I own one of these, but it is silver. It is very sharp and comfy. My average mpg is 41.1, factoring in a variety of driving scenarios. Love your reviews. Keep up the great work.
its just for grip when you really need it, only useable below 80kph if I remember correctly. Just a thing for grip in bad conditions. Seen a few tests and it does suprise me but it aint no subaru awd :P
yeah buddyyyy!! i finally caught up to the most recent video!! fyi it takes about 2 weeks of casual watching of all sarah's videos to be caught up. great stuff!! going to be shooting a shoutout to your channel on my next weeks video =P keep up the good work
As far as I remember about Hybrid's, they're meant to have better fuel economy in the stop'n'go traffic city driving, not long distance trips because they don't get to much chances to regenerate energy.. Good video, nice color on the Lexus! :D
Sarah, you are so darn good with these reviews. LOVED the shot with the ant hole in the foreground, too. Have a great time at SEMA. Wish I could go this year.
My 2019 UX250h gets an average of 40.1 mpg. It's just a matter of how you drive. I've even had 45 or 46 on some short trips that were relatively flat. What drinks the gas is quick startups from stop and steep upgrades. If you can coast down the hills, you can make up a little.
Hi Sarah, just a suggestion and something you probably have considered, but if not, I personally would love to see you do some side-by-side comparison/reviews between similar vehicles. I think your review vids are great and you actually have (in my opinion) some credibility when it comes to assessing a vehicle for performance, comfort, value etc. Just throwing it out there for ya. Hope the elbow is feeling better! :)
Great review, as usual, Sarah. That is a car my wife would absolutely love! Not too many reviewers give the information in such an amusing fashion. Kudos!
It should be corrected (at 9:24) that the E-four is used to precisely control the front-rear torque (but not the power, since the 7-hp/40-lb-ft rear electric motor is not powerful enough) distribution in ratios between 100:0 and 20:80 when accelerating, cornering, or driving on slippery surfaces.
Nice review, Sarah. Love the clip of the ants in your video. Your ongoing effort to show us nature at its finest. Wow...no penguins, too. An all-important detail in the stats. of this car. Keep up the great work. Love your channel.
Wow! A Lexus Space Capsule complete with Vintage 1963 Mattel V-Rroom II Hot Rodder Engine Motor for that 'Sound of Power!' I can' wait to see what their rev 2 of this thing is like...
Cute little wagon. They've made some trade-offs with the hybrid combining it with AWD - that's adding even more weight, so that ends up killing a bit of the hybrid benefit. The standard FWD non-hybrid version is several hundred pounds lighter, so it's likely going to feel better in the corners, and it's highway economy is virtually identical to the hybrid. The hybrid aspect in this vehicle really only benefits you around town. To their credit, the cost differential between the entry-level version and the standard (non-F-type) hybrid is only about $2,000 - whether it's worth it or not will depend on the individual. At least this is a pretty inexpensive Lexus, starting around $32k. Infiniti's QX30 starts at $30k, but has worse MPG. If you don't need a wagon, Acura's entry-level ILX starts under $26k, but again, has worse MPG (all the more surprising since it's lightest of the group - come on Honda!). Anyway, great video as always Sarah! :-)
Sarah.. I like the idea of black on the trims.. looks like a little go getter and homerun hitter.. also it doesn't hurt that I so much dig the color.. a plus 2 is you can wear that yellow..
Think the word you were looking for is fins. Cars from the mid to late 50s all had fins to some degree. That styling cue was based on jet planes because the 1950s was the jet age. Before that it was Art Deco styling. Which is the best styling of any period in automotive history in my humble opinion. Great review Sarah. Happy Halloween 🎃
Very interesting review of a very unusual car, a Lexus a F sport a highbred a crossover all in one.A difficult review for most but you make it fun and informative a Porky spaceship LOL and absolutely black on the trim what were they thinking thanks for all the fun happy Halloween!
It would be right not to call it a gas pedal. The car called it an accelerator pedal (rightly so) meaning it makes the car accelerate. Some engineers decided how much gas to give it (and electricity, too).
It's an overpriced Corolla chr for people that have their head up their a**. Who ever became the lead designer at Lexus at around 2008 is smoking some really good stuff if they think their front end looks good. Quite the opposite actually and it basically done for weight reduction, hollow plastic is cheaper and lighter than solid panels. Sarah your reviews are always entertaining and offbeat which I love. But I seriously would rather see a review on that fiat 500 than this Lexus or that previous civic review. Seriously they need a helmet instead of a "gas" pedal if you can't ever rev a vehicle. That's part of the excitement of driving, hearing the car go through the motions not faking it like an uninterested date.
In time those cool wheel arch mouldings will dull or fade and turn a grey color, so better if they were body colored, shiny gloss grill will scratch up from washing and cleaning out those bugs. But still a well made car underneath though You could modify it's appearance later down the road I guess
Wow... I'm here really early... Actually beat the notification... That's a first. Hello Sarah, just wanted to say that while I don't like import cars at all (I'm into American muscle), I like your videos, and your presentation method for them. That being said, I still watch most of your videos for the awkwardness, weird jokes, innuendo, and 90's and 2000's movie quotes. 😉
It's a basic hybrid, it's not meant to be fast, if it were, you'd be looking more along the lines of the new NSX or the 918. This is not in the same category, I got my UX as I wanted simple fuel efficiency with a few more interior feel than a Prius, I have also owned another LS460 and a few other sportier cars, but at the sacrifice of fuel economy obviously. For one to compare an entry-level hybrid to something "fast" isn't an informative review, in my opinion.
Thinking that the Lexus folks should consider adding a S into the vehicle name. Looks aggressive on the outside, but seems like a dog for a Lexus. Perhaps a LS swap option package should be offered?
Is this supposed to be the new CT 200h? I am just a little surprised with very little power combined gas and battery, lexus still labeled F sport. And it doesn't sounds very sporty according to your review. Btw, those were huge ants!!
Sooo thats what a toyota rav 4 looks like with the lexus body kit option. Edit: also when that led stip fails that going to cost you at least 700+ to replace.
Did you say they electronically piped in transmission shifting sounds from the speakers? If so, I think they should add a "race" mode and blare the righteous sounds of a blown hemi. I would buy that shit today.
I don't understand Lexus, their mgt is schitzo and lost. They make "performance" cars with semi shitty performance, and they make "luxury" cars that are styled for semi young weirdos. Plus, they only sell as premium when new, the second sale is as a rebadged toyota xyz.
Funny review as usual on this type of vehicle. Personally, I wouldn't own one myself. Not that I am against Lexus, but the rear end of that Hybrid is just plain ugly. What were they thinking with that protruding taillight/rear "wing"? The interior you showed with the Blue would look nice.
With a transverse mounted engine, I don't think it can transfer any power to the back wheel, it's just the dedicated dink electric motor back their that's powering up the rear wheels.

Your pronunciation of UX while keeping a straight face was priceless!
I had to rewatch that moment if i heard and seen it right😅
Agreed.
Love your car reviews - always!!! I am surprised that some of the auto companies do not complain about your honesty.
Your reviews are the sh*t! Funny, quirky, charming all while being stylish plus very informative. I love this channel!
181 HP (combined) + CVT = WOW
Thank good they made it all-wheel drive to handle the power. 🙂
its just for grip when you really need it, only useable below 80kph if I remember correctly. Just a thing for grip in bad conditions. Seen a few tests and it does suprise me but it aint no subaru awd :P

The little sound effects in your edit are so funny. Seriously lol
As far as I remember about Hybrid's, they're meant to have better fuel economy in the stop'n'go traffic city driving, not long distance trips because they don't get to much chances to regenerate energy.. Good video, nice color on the Lexus! :D
Like the litle luxury car with personality
«They make works of art that are cars.» I couldn’t have put it better myself! 👍

Deftones - Passenger.....the best track to listen to while testing the space in the back seat!
Bring on Player 2! You should always open the trunk or frunk and introduce Player 2 - and Kyla should pop out! Nice review...
There's some car on your grill!
Girl you're cute and weird and that's why we love you ! 😂👍 💜

Great review, as usual, Sarah. That is a car my wife would absolutely love! Not too many reviewers give the information in such an amusing fashion. Kudos!
I really enjoyed your sense of humor and your review.
My desert babe! Yes, Lexus is/are looking fantastic JDM 👍👍👍 Great review as always!
if it was silver that front end would look like an old-scool Cylon from the original BattleStar Galactia
Awesome review, you do great car reviews and I love your special touch, brings a smile. Great job.

I'm new to the channel and I love your car reviews Sarah. You make them entertaining.
This is my favorite review you’ve done yet!
I love it. You are reviewing a Lexus and I got a Carmry and a Bently comercial.
Love the technical/ scientific information.
I don’t know how many times I have watched that opening! Laugh every time!
Nice review, Sarah. Love the clip of the ants in your video. Your ongoing effort to show us nature at its finest. Wow...no penguins, too. An all-important detail in the stats. of this car. Keep up the great work. Love your channel.

I liked the car review but I didn't like the car that much. Kudos to you and Kyla for trying it out though.
LC500h is suppose to get 27 city, 35 highway., and 30 combined. Take that to Phoenix and see what you get.
Yes!! I’m on the fence on buying this exact car. Thank you.
So F Sport UX, or FUX for short?
FSUX
You must be in 5th grade
For me it's not so much what a car looks like. It's MSRP starts at $36,350. A Lexus hybrid, with awd at that price is pretty amazing.
Sarah.. I like the idea of black on the trims.. looks like a little go getter and homerun hitter.. also it doesn't hurt that I so much dig the color.. a plus 2 is you can wear that yellow..
LOVE THE COLOR!
The tail lights look like a elongated version of Maximilian's eye from the black hole
53rdcards I haven’t heard reference to that robot in a long time!
Speaking of robots, the front reminds me of a Battlestar Galactica Cylon.
@@lorenzo2011ist Wonder if the owner of this could change the fake engine noise to "By your command"
Now that’s an ancient reference.
The sport mode just makes you feel good about yourself.

Good Job on the Review, Sarah

hello sarah I love your channel , have a fantastic day and happy halloweeeeeen
I have not been a big fan since Lexus went to those big grills and I would be afraid the way the tail lights stick up they could get broken easier
Sarah thanks for the entertaining videos . Nice to see a girl who loves cars.
❤️❤️❤️This was hilarious! Thank you !!! So true :)
6:30 : "we should smile now ... right ?? lol the best face ever" ... always be positive " at least its smooth " iloved it

1. Yellow looks good on you.
2. Not much of a car really, far better options out there.
3. Any trucks in our future?
hahah, , love the award audio and trophy for the small fenders

I think the rear winglet is for the tire poke in the back. The RC F has the same thing.
I love you videos!!
Love all your reviews! Do more!!!👍👌🎉🥰
Awesome review 👍🏎️
waiting for the next lexus to have an even huger grille on it! nice review that vehicle has a CHR vibe to it.
C-HR is built on the same basic TNGA platform & here in UK / Europe you can get the C-HR with the same 2 litre hybrid power train.
Sport? Seems like one for your gran to go shopping in.
Great vid as always, but lets face it it's not a drivers car.
"UX" is supposed to be short for "Urban Explorers."
I'm fairly certain that actual Urban explorers would not be impressed with this thing.
Gloss black that would have looked much better on the roof rails as well as the belt and window moldings. Especially with dark tint.
Cute vid! Love it!
Washi was said right. It's neat vehicle. Interesting it can't be rev'd even in neutral.
At 2:29, is that orange peel paint optional? Shameful for a Lexus.
Victor Matroni Looks like any other paint...
Love your reviews! Hahahah❤❤❤

So much tech in cars now...
Great review & great car
we all look stooopid to somebody haha
😂
Just a detail. But the UX250h isn't a hot hatch ? Form and function are those of a compact SUV.
I love this channel!! Sarah, you should mention your Patreon from time to time.

You could fit a rock hopper penguin in that center console.
I'm just wondering is Lexus, a premium brand, charges extra for the bad orange peeled paint job? Pretty low rent.
Speaking of low rent, when will you be on "Hoarders"???
I think all cars should have black trim around the windows and black roof cargo mount and not have any kind
haha, the armrest swings both ways. so funny :)
Sooo thats what a toyota rav 4 looks like with the lexus body kit option.

They got rid of the crazy joystick? NICE...hate it on our RX
Did you say they electronically piped in transmission shifting sounds from the speakers? If so, I think they should add a "race" mode and blare the righteous sounds of a blown hemi. I would buy that shit today.
I’d go with the gloss black for the window trim/roof rails.
The front end looks like jeremy clarksons face drifing the arial atom fast
Dont worry we all love your TTs
Did you check out the is500? Finally US release

Pars S / Wrong, even with a transverly mounted engine, it is possible to transfer power to the back. The Honda Ridgeline is a good example.
