Refreshing review, I own a 2018 LC and agree its about the experience as this car has by far been my favorite car in a long line of powerful vehicles. My last was a 2016 CTS V which was a 640hp sledgehammer but only car enthusiast even knew what I was driving. Every stop I make in the LC sparks curious conversation from men women and children, all positive thus far! Lexus in my opinion created a vehicle that puts you in the center of a moving experience whether you want to be speed racer, James Bond or the chauffeur driving Ms Daisy, this car does it all. Again cool review and thanks for showing me how to shift from Manual to drive and back to manual on the fly never quite figured that out until you illustrated it.
Just love your car reviews Sarah, love how you stare at us through that camera and make us uncomfortable and then make us laugh out loud,so good. Please more of the same, you would be a good fit on the grand tour too I think. 😃😃😃
Best car review yet, with more detail in it on the interior, lot of hard work went into this review bearing in mind Sarah works alone, can't believe a car hitting 60 in 4.4 seconds only gets 2.5 beans, boy, is Sarah a tough nut to impress speed wise. Beginning to think she was piloting F15's etc while in the military, not maintaining them :)
It would've been too expensive for Toyota to make the LC500 into the Supra, along with the LC500 being HEAVY. Along with the fact that the LC500 did not sell decently
When it's all said and done, a Lexus like that is a status-symbol straight up.. Reminds me just of a Cadi, they have big motors but doesn't mean they're there to compete with other V8's.. As a car enthusiast I appreciate cars like this, and that Toyota is one of the only manufactures to sell stuff outside the box whether people buy them or not.. Great review! :D
I always felt the LC500 combined with some aesthetics of the new Supra (front end design) could've fit the profile of a modern day Supra. Unfortunately its weight would still be the issue. But the idea of it being a modern SC400 is spot on
This is one of the most beautiful cars to ever come out of Japan. I can see a lot of thought and engineering went into designing this car. I like it so much I ordered a Pearl Yellow one for 2020. This may be a future collectable car similar to the NSX gen 1.
Awesome review, Sarah. You make me smile every time, and laugh quite often, all the while presenting a world class review. Thanks! Going back to the days when I sold Lexus, it was explained to me why Lexus sport cars had such small, apparently useless, rear seats. In Japan all 2 door cars are declared sports cars, by the insurance companies and are thus charged a MUCH higher rate than 4 doors. UNLESS they have a back seat. If a 2 door car has a back seat, the monthly insurance rate drops significantly. So, your grocery bags get a nice place to sit back there while your monthly insurance bill is more comfortable as well.

Great video! Your exactly right the new supra should have been based off of the lc500 the same way the mark iv was based from the sc300. Even if it's a v8 it's a Toyota primarily built v8 instead of taking a BMW and putting a Toyota badge on it.
I agree I would pick this over the new Supra all day long. I have had the opportunity to ride in one of these from a friend that's a radiologist he has already bought one I have to agree it does everything right
The mk5s only like 5 inches( in length) shorter than the mk4 and it's not necessary for the car to be that long when it's a car that's track oriented track plus the engine is also not as big as the V8 so there's no reason for such a long front end.
Carboy Dorifuto party The Supra was never a track oriented car. It was a Grand Tourer. The MK4 fanboys, claimed it was a sportscar, and Toyota feel for it. Just like how Toyota feel for the "B58 is the new 2JZ", jazz that BMW fanboys kept gurgling out of their mouths.

I guess it really depends on what you're looking for. The new Supra will outperform this car in every aspect (acceleration, braking, and cornering). If you want a luxury car while then this is the better car.
Which do you think,is easier to work on? Good luck fixing that b58 engine when that timing chain breaks in the rear of the engine and you have to pull the entire thing. Toyota mechanics sre not looking forward to wkring on that BMW Zupra.
Great review. I was able to take the car out on an extended test drive and really loved the car, everyone else in my family hated it due to the Predator nose. I still think it is a great car.
The way you use that volume knob is....... very loud 😏 but honestly it was a awesome review I always said they should have used the platform of this car for the supra

Seriously the prettiest car I've been up close to in my life, as good as it looks here, photos and video really don't do it justice. Exclusively isn't a selling point, but quality and style is, and the LC500 has more than most cars ever even dream about. (I like to think that a baby Prius gets bedtime stories about how if they work hard enough they too can be a LC500) I'd take this Toyota over a BMW any day. The only thing weird about someone being themselves is pausing the flow to bring it up, everyone loves Sarah for Sarah 🌸 or is it just me?
GEE THANKS SARAH! I actually sprayed pop out of my nose onto my keyboard and monitor at your comment "yes, I am definitely comfortable. I can actually drive with my teeth!!" Hilarious!!
You're right, this should have been the Supra. The engine and shifts sound on point and the design looks good. I love the warehouse location, it really sets the car off. It's a pity the bugs can't stop talking about your stripper shoes. Maybe wear a mic next time to drown them out! You give us only the very finest reviews. Thank you.
@@carboydorifutoparty3976 Its made by Toyota, the new Supra isn't. It's made in Austria by BMW on the Z4 production line and platform. Nothing Supra about the new Supra except exterior looks. Interior is all BMW.
@@jamesemcclure Although it's actually in MORE reach for people to get,DOESN'T weight over 4k,HAS a i6,and is way more TUNABLE compared to the Lexus. Heck I think the mk5 might even be faster than the LC for half it's price.
@@carboydorifutoparty3976 All true but none of that makes it a Toyota with Supra DNA. I've driven the MK4 Supra when it was first launched. It was fast but heavy like the LC. The new Supra is a rebadged Z4 which is a good car in many other ways. Lexus is about luxury not value therefore it's difficult to compare prices.
@@jamesemcclure yea but they wanted the mk5 to be more of a drivers car and they wanted it to have as much less weight on it as possible(which is why the mk5 is about 100lbs lighter than the mk4 and why it has a shorter wheelbase for cornering).
I get the same feeling in my RS5 Cabriolet, it’s a touring sports car, not near the fastest, but that sound from the 4.2 L 450hp naturally aspirated V8 puts a smile on my face! 😬
Beautiful review Sarah 👍love the whole video, made my day. From the Lexus giving birth to a Sarah to the shaved kittens comment🤣 nothing but love from Minnesota!
the best thing about lexuses is how they shift. There is this tiny pause between the gears, which makes it sound like a race car! (most cars kind of "fade" from one gear to another)
I agree 100%!! This car is a sight to see in person. Definitely should've been a supra , but then it would be named Toyota, and maybe you can not sell a Toyota for over a 100k.
Love the car reviews Wish you would ad a score to tunability. It could be a tuna score That way if you give a low bean score it could be made up with a bunch of tunas
Can't wait for your next review. I usually pay a lot of attention to your music choices (which are usually great by the way) but this time this car's engine had all my attention... Thank you for that!!!
I've frequently said I would have been plenty happy if the new Supra had been based on the current Lexus platforms with 2 a lot of weight stripped out and the badass V8 engines from Lexus, possibly with a turbo. Damn that thing sounds great. Also may be of interest to you that there are rumors Toyota will use the new Mazda I6 engine and shared Mazda platform for the next RC and to create a car between the RC and LC. Personally I'm hyped for the Mazda I6 either way. Filming location was awesome for this car. Such a fun contrast. The feeling of euphoria on your face right before the braking segment was funny. Also probably your hardest braking to date. I know the automatic is superior anyways, but if they offered this car with a manual and a bit lighter weight, possibly with rear seat delete, it would be pretty dream car status. Excellent review. Lexus should give you one. The car suits you!
I've driven one on a Lexus autocross event twice. The car is a fricken beast. It got away from me and understeered into a row of cones in front of Roberto Guerrero who was instructing at the event. It's a blast to drive but I'm not sure I'd buy one, not that I can afford it. Very high strung at the limit.
The rear seat and roof line is designed so that when you are sitting back there , you have your head on your significant others shoulder! Nice job Sarah!
Ashish Patel Nope, you read that wrong. Toyota is transitioning all their V8’s to V6TT. It’s the only thing you can do to satisfy the next phase of eco requirements.
Should have been! It’s weird that they had to partner with BMW when they already had it in their parts bin. If that LC500 gets 2.5 beans what gets 5 beans?
I know right!! It really doesn't make sense if they already had beastly powerplants at their disposal. I guess Toyota didn't want to cannibalize Lexus even though they are supposedly bringing "Toyota performance to the masses".
I may be one of the few that will say this but I kind of wish Sarah reviewed more cost effective, everyday type vehicles. It may be boring to most but more relative to me. I can’t even begin to believe I could own/drive a six-figure car, if I did there better not be any dislikes found. That being said I love Sarah and her videos, just a review of a car so expensive to s less interesting to me.
Another great car review in the bank! What makes it great is no matter what kind of car it is, how much power it has or what it costs, you make me want to own one... *looks at bank account* *cries*
So I love all your reviews....and of course - - -every car will have something you don't like.....which is the car that you have given your best review so far..........the one you like best.
My dad had driven Mercedes for many decades and had grown tired of the Mercedes cars available to him, he just thought that their quality had declined. My brother in law talked him into a Lexus and dad was impressed enough to drive several in his later years. That's actually saying a lot because although dad was a car guy he never really ever wanted to try and fix the damn things. He said that his Lexus cars felt bulletproof. When you look under a Lexus or Toyota car after many years of use there is literally no leakage in the motor and tranny pieces. In an American car there is sludge and crap everywhere it seems.
The only thing I've ever asked for the LC500 is that if it could put itself on a diet, when you see the car in person you realize just how tiny it is and can't believe it weighs over 4000lbs. Nitpicks about the car aside I have to say I've never watched a review by Sarah but they are pretty dang funny.

The Supra will never be V8.
i6 forever 🥰
I rather a toyota v8 vs a bmw I6 if I were buying a new Supra. The bmw I6 just ruins it for me.
Badr supra should never be brittle bmw plastics junk which cracks and leaks from sitting there too long
@@Al-yc4cn Toyota was actually in on the development of the B58 lol
Why would a Supra be a v8 ? It's a Celica lol that just ended up being a Supra
@@philspaghet most of that has been confirmed to be a lie, do your research.
IMO That is a very good looking car.
This is the first video I've seen of yours and I really like a good sense of humor.
GEE THANKS SARAH! I actually sprayed pop out of my nose onto my keyboard and monitor at your comment "yes, I am definitely comfortable. I can actually drive with my teeth!!" Hilarious!!
Sarah your reviews are absolutely brilliant, just fun to watch and you know your stuff
Thank you.
Although it doesn't have the supra formula anywhere.
(most cars kind of "fade" from one gear to another)
How you arent at 1m subscribers already I dont know. One of the best RUclipsrs!
I agree 100%!! This car is a sight to see in person. Definitely should've been a supra , but then it would be named Toyota, and maybe you can not sell a Toyota for over a 100k.
That's was the supra, the problem nobody will buy a 4200lbs $100K Toyota Supra.
It is the Supra and your intro is the best intro to the beginning of an adult film.
Love the car reviews
Wish you would ad a score to tunability. It could be a tuna score
That way if you give a low bean score it could be made up with a bunch of tunas
Girl, you are a riot! Great review! God, I love the LC500,
Nice crawling out of the car 😂👍🏻😁
The LFA light...Not a bad car. Lexus is reliable. I love my old 2001 lexus. 310,000 miles still going strong.
100% correct! Mustangs may be faster BUT they aren't this car!
199k for Lexus though.....
Can't wait for your next review. I usually pay a lot of attention to your music choices (which are usually great by the way) but this time this car's engine had all my attention... Thank you for that!!!
9:48 She watches Scotty Kilmer 😂
Delivery 10, presentation 9, dead pan 100. You do keep me laughing, great review profesora!
How tall are you in those heels? I say 6'3"
The rear seat and roof line is designed so that when you are sitting back there , you have your head on your significant others shoulder! Nice job Sarah!
So this or a GTR? tough choice. Lexus sort of looks better.
My first Sarah - n - Tuned video. Sarah, you're awesome!!!
Word on the street is Twin turbo v8 in the enxt lexus.
Ashish Patel
Nope, you read that wrong. Toyota is transitioning all their V8’s to V6TT. It’s the only thing you can do to satisfy the next phase of eco requirements.
That would kill all competition
Ashish Patel LC500-F
So, Sarah in a short skirt, high heels, in a six-figure car, a V8.Can life be any better? My idea of heaven
All it would have needed would be a massive diet and a manual transmission option.
The new Supra is made in Austria. You can't get anymore JDM than that. 😕
In 2039, I can see myself getting this as a second-hand car. (I am a current, happy owner of a 99 Lexus GS. LOL)
Our Empire will have fallen far before that date. I see you clubbing a rat for dinner. Just sayin' ...........
Scotty Kilmer: he’s crazy. Just like you!
He’s smart. Just like you!
Y’all both are crazy smart 😂
But you’re much prettier! ❤️🐞
Another great car review in the bank! What makes it great is no matter what kind of car it is, how much power it has or what it costs, you make me want to own one...
*looks at bank account*
*cries*
Is Doug "Back-Seat" deMuro your brother? Asking, for a friend...
So I love all your reviews....and of course - - -every car will have something you don't like.....which is the car that you have given your best review so far..........the one you like best.
...a total mind f#@%...driven in strippper heels... ;-)
In an American car there is sludge and crap everywhere it seems.
great review, until you said you have an Iphone 😂😜
The only thing I've ever asked for the LC500 is that if it could put itself on a diet, when you see the car in person you realize just how tiny
it is and can't believe it weighs over 4000lbs.
Nitpicks about the car aside I have to say I've never watched a review by Sarah but they are pretty dang funny.
