@ Felly Thoye : Good comment.
What can each Congolese do at his/her level to change the bashing of Congo??? A suggestion
Through songs? why not get local street artists to form a small group to sing positive clean short songs about Congo (even if there are many problems to be solve one at a time). Starting with a positive theme for the song, where
      positive mind,
      positive attitude,
      positive look,
      positive attire
positite thinking is put forward in the song.
      God bless

I'm a very informed Congolese living abroad, and I would like to bring my contribution to that question and clarifications. Congolese lambda love their country to death; however, people are negative because of bad governance or the bad polititians that we have in Congo. If youu have visited Congo a couple of times. Did you see how is difficult to enter Congo? It's the same for Congolese living abroad. Did you see how bad the necessary infrastructures are, even, in Capital city? In the provinces It's even ... and it's not that Congo has no means and people capable of building that, but because 99% of the political class are corrupted, toxic, and useless, they make a lot of people suffer unnecessary.
These politicians are in power against popular wish but because they're backed by foreign powers. Many Congolese have sacrificed their lives protesting, resisting, even, taking guns to fight so that things can change, but at the end, these foreign powers always play a game on the disadvantage of Congolese people.
Now, imagine that. How in the world would you be positive of those mis-leaders?

The biggest problem I found in Africa whenever I go there is the deep hate among themselves! I was born in Ghana, stayed in many countries in the world including China, but Africa has always be the only place those in charge of certain positions that discriminate against each other. I hope the wodemaya narrative could bring a change of mind to our continent. My people, do not hail foreigners higher than your own! We are the indigenous of the land and we should have free pass to our own land! God bless Africa our motherland.

I'm from the State's and we experience the same "SELF HATE'" but in a violent way. Black on Black crime is at an all time high here. I do need a break though. I've learned alot from my brothers and sisters in my culture BUT the positive one's in the continent of Africa makes me realize how much I deserve to be connected back to my roots. It's hurtful to hear how difficult it is for Africans to travel within the continent of Africa. It's a constant reminder of the stain of dysfunction of self-hate the colonizer has left on us. Many Africans don't even know that they have been enslaved. It's the people who have robbed you of everything who you actually look at as your saviors and think them to be better than your own. But Wodemaya and other young ones like him are helping to wake the continent up. And not just the continent but all Africans/Decedent's around the globe. Keep teaching young brothers, you ARE making a difference!

Ghana baby, I’ve been following you for some time now and something runs through your videos, “ accessibility to other African countries “. I suggest that bloggers in Africa should come together and put out a write up to the African Union on that topic. Thanks

He’s so right. Once one country sees a huge impact from diasporans returning and massively improving the economy, the rest will follow suit. The truth is these leaders can’t imagine a different way to live and gain wealth. They believe it has to be off of corruption. They aren’t visionaries. The youth will have to lead them
