I really enjoy watching your content. Mellow vibe with the drone shots 👍
Thanks! I want to start using the drone more in the camping videos; really get my moneys worth lol. But now it’s a nice chance to talk about where I’m at and some history in the video.
Nice overnight camp spot and thanks for sharing the cooking. The quesadilla looked awesome!! Look forward to your next video. 🏞
It was surprisingly good for being a rushed cook. I love that spot, might hit it again tomorrow if I can’t get to this spot I want to with all the snow.
I’ve finally managed to get some free time and will be heading out with my RTT in 2 weeks. Enjoyed your latest video, thanks for sharing with us.
That’s great! Hopefully you get some nice weather. It’s been hit or miss for me lately but spring is starting to actually get going now.
Great video, the landscape was starkly beautiful even for having suffered a fire, but from it comes new birth.
Yeah I love it out there but it is sad that it just won’t grow back
Great video!!
Thanks! Really appreciate it!
Awesome video! Such beautiful landscape despite the tragedy it’s seen. Still can’t wait to get up there soon! Also, next quesadilla you make, try green onions in it. Game changer lol
I’ll have to try to green onions next time. Yeah it is beautiful there but hauntingly so.
Why do I always forget the cutting board??! 😆
I went out and bought one specifically for camping now so I’m hoping I don’t forget it again.
THIS MAN LOVES A WARM PILLOW?!?!?!?! I fight ever night for the cold side of my pillow lol.
At home it’s cold pillows all day. In 20 degrees I need all the warmth I can get lol.
@@OXFOOT fair point faaaair point.
i fucking miss upslope beer! they dont distribute in Texas anymore. its actually been a while but thats some damn fine beer
Was going to say at least y’all have buccees, Rudy’s and Watabuger but we have all of that now lol. What part of Texas, I bet if you went to Austin you could find it. I’m in San Antonio a few times a year and usually make my way to Austin.
Beautiful place, nice and simple dinner, simple source of heat on a cold nite. Thanks for sharing bro! Any idea how much power ur heated blanket consumed overnite?
It consumes about 30% of my 2000watt battery bank on full blast. So about 600watts. That does include my phone and camera batteries charging overnight so it’s likely less. When I look before I plug in anything else the bank says about 50 watts per hour of draw on full blast.
Does that battery run the heated blanket all night? Which model? Thanks, nice video!
Yeah the battery bank is usually at 70% in the morning. It’s overkill for the blanket but it’s a bluetti AC200L.
Have you ever tried marinating your chicken before you head out?
That would be the smart thing to do but I always end up buying stuff on the way to the campsite because I’m kind of a bad planner.
@@OXFOOT Make up a marinade at home, put some in a Ziploc bag, then put your chicken (or whatever meat you get) in the bag(s) to marinate on the way.
I have a question, how do you like that Tundra for overlanding/camping. How does it handle the trails and what not? I just sold my Tacoma and was wanting to get into a tundra ( growing family ) the Tacoma just doesn’t cut it when you have people to haul unfortunately, I love that truck. Wife drives the 4Runner but we have property so I need the utility of a bed of some sorts. I’m just worried I’m going to have buyers remorse on the tundra after having the Tacoma and being used to its off road capabilities.
Unfortunately without a bumper I haven’t been able to try anything difficult and I got my lift and all that after Colorado got covered in snow. But the few trails I’ve been on when I was stock it did alright. I’ll have to report back for real once these trails clear up.
Thanks for the reply. I’m not a hard core off roader, mainly forest roads with the occasional trails, whatever I need to take it up the mountains really.
"You can see the Dipper!" ... Proceeds to point at the Orion constellation. 😂
Great video regardless though!
I have a theory that there are more than 40 dippers if you look hard enough.
@@OXFOOT you're not wrong there. 😂
@@CFinley25 It's like a running joke that If you're camping with me and I'm drinking heavily, I will bring it up and point out at least 5 of them. Many a night arguing a stance I don't actually care than much about lol.
@@OXFOOT hopefully one of these weekends we can meetup and I can experience that first hand. 🤣
@@CFinley25 where you located?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

That’s Orion
👍🏻
I'm waiting...😢
Yeah I didn’t mean to hit that button early 🫠
What part of Colorado is this?
My wife loves your hat! What brand and where did you get it?
@@NoCoastGolf it’s tripine. They have hats and shirts I think.
@@NoCoastGolf it’s front range in between Denver and Springs. I’ll just say on here it’s a little past conifer
