I saw a comment on another video about these brothers that said:
"Michael Buffer is an expensive bottle of wine. Bruce Buffer is a shot of Jack Daniels. I love them both equally, for different reasons."
What an outstanding metaphor.
Micheal is like a fine bottle of Bordeaux Bruce is like a shot of Jack Daniels
Michael has such a outstanding story. A man of grace and class. Without him, there is no Bruce announcing.
"Let's get ready to rumble" is better than "It's time" on account of the alliteration.
“Let’s get ready to rumble” is objectively a better catchphrase, but I personally absolutely love Bruce’s delivery of “It’s time” more than Michael’s delivery. No knock to either man though, Michael has an insanely smooth and excellent delivery of his announcing, but Bruce just perfectly encapsulates the intensity of the violence that’s about to ensue. Both men are the GOAT’s of their respective sports though.
@@alphacraig2001 Yeah. I agree. "It's time!" works because of Bruce. Bruce genuinely likes the fighters he announces. It shows.
Portnoy asking Joe if he’s ever watched the first UFC’s when Gracie wore a gee is pretty brain dead.
They both have the same last name and Micheal actually did do a UFC event back in the day 😂 so idk how they didn't know each other
They already knew each other other by the time Michael called the UFC. The reason why Bruce (who was Michael’s manager and still is to this day) got the job was because he asked Michael if he could step in. Michael encouraged the idea, and the rest is history as they say.
@@christiansmith1389 oh yeah he did say they met at 29
@@christiansmith1389or the real story: Micheal announced 3 UFC events, but became a conflict of interest with his other contracts. So Bruce stepped in.
Burce has not surpass Micheal
