Finally a video with players training game like speed. Lay ups are extremely important and most people refuse to work on them. Great video will add this to me practice routine thanks again.

Winner of a video, I have been researching "point guards basketball" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Nanackson Guardo Philosophy - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.

I love this video it made me split my practices into 4 quarters, using each quarter of these drills as the finish off of each quarter of practice. I initially start with my plays our normal drills and then we go into these to finish the quarter. this has made prac way easier to get conditioning in with free throws while tired. and keeping it as close to game speed conditioning as possible. I added a few different variations to add more competition with 3 groups competing at a time which keeps the competitive drive going. the players don't even realize how much more running they are doing than would be compared to regular suicides LOVE IT!

Closeout jumpers is silly...why combine a defensive move with an offensive move? Make it a screen (fist up) and roll into a jumper. Its minor, but for kids you have to make it game like

My god damn 8th and 9th grade b-ball coaches punished my knees and ankles so bad with "running the lines" that I had to sit out my sophomore year to heal up.
My junior year I was in great shape and at 6' - 1 1/2" 185 lb could dunk. Then J.V. practice begins and the idiot coaches grind the whole teams knees to a pulp with "the lines" and turn me into a shell of my summer league abilities, reducing my vertical to 10 inches max, and I get sent up to Varsity to be an undressed anonymous dead meat practice player clogging the lane in rebound drills, and yeah, "running the lines" till I collapsed one evening and the managers dragged me off the floor and told me coach just threw me off the practice squad.
Years later I hunted down all those coaches and got payback.

Nothing without one hour of a typical suicide runs with weight added minimum plus afterwards shooting+ scoring drills, something of a 4-5 hours of work on a work day minimum even more if you want something to do, 2 days work one day rest and keep going like that plus you don't count match days
