On an SNL Norm talked about homeless people with dogs, and how the dog has to be thinking "I can do this well on my own." Every time I pass a homeless person with a dog in Portland, which is pretty much every block recently, I flash back to that observation and start to laugh.

Back after first seeing this and other clips 2-1/2 weeks ago. I was down the rabbit hole studying Norm's premises and delivery. Had no idea we were going to lose him the next month, just studying a genius funny guy. He and Dennis on the same stage is a classic.
Norm is so funny that I think even he is entertained by his stuff when he's delivering it. Like he's two places at once. As if he was in the audience watching himself. He's so funny and witty, I get memorized and almost don't laugh. Then the laugh comes, but it's more of an appreciation for how good he is.

It would've made more sense if he said "AM station" which is what I think he meant. Dennis Miller is quick but even he can't think as fast as Norm does.
