Dickey Betts the real 'Ramblin Man'
RIP DICKEY 💙 All the Pure Joy You brought via your music... will live forever🎙️🎸🎶
Super sad Dickey Betts died. The most underrated rock & roll guitarist of them all.
Dickey Betts music will never get old, RIP
I'm crying inside.. Listened to ABB for many hundreds if not thousands of hours.
God bless , Dickey Betts…💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏
Perfect musical and obit lead in.Thank you.
The Allman Brothers Band were an incredible powerhouse of American music. Dickey Betts alone or with the band was a gifted musician and guitarist leaving a legacy of ageless Southern Rock. All their music made great music to travel by, no matter what transportation mode you choose.
Thank you for showcasing Mr. Betts in your Sunday Morning passing notables.
May Dickey Betts, Duane and Greg Allman Rest in Peace. Thank you for sharing your talents and some of my favorite music, gentlemen.
Such wonderful people we have lost this year. May their professionalism live within our memories and may they all REST IN PEACE.
They have served and
represented the human race with consideration
for our GREAT NATION
Very WELL!!
Here, here
RIP Mr Betts, thank you 🙏
RIP to all.
Thanks, Dickey. Bon Voyage
Southern Rock was Rock with soul.I hope you and Greg and Duane are in heaven singing together. RIP
And Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks
No words needed for Dickey Betts one of America's best and important musicians. The Allman's hit it in the upper deck from the get go, and never stopped.
Rest in Power, Dickey Betts
Dickey Betts, one of 2 USoNA guitarists that i would rank in my top 20. Duane the other. Without doubt the most melodic guitarist, and the absolute master of the major pentatonic, (hard to stay in, harder than the minor). RIP Dickey, May your Sky always be Blue, may your Ramblin days be finally over and you are home with your great mates Duane and Gregg. Thanks for so much joy and inspiration.
Jerry Garcia pre 1981 was definitely one of the top 20 guitarists & on several other string instruments as well. You can’t dock him for his drug addled stuff when Duane Allman gets a pass for only being on the scene for a few years.
@@LudiCrust. not even close! Sorry, but the Brits rule, except for Angus, Dickey and Duane. Just my personal top 20. God alone at the top!
RIP Brother Dickey! Play on!
❤❤❤❤Dickey Betts. Rest in Peace, your music and spirit lives on forever
Thanks for some of the best music for the 70s dude! You did good Brother.
rip Mr.Betts , thank you for making my life better with your music
RIPDickey. Your music will surely live on
RIP Dickey. To a life well played. Thanks for the incredible music
It is sad to know that so many wonderful musicians from the era of great music are passing away now. But they own immortality as their music will always be with us.
Rest in peace Dickey Betts!
🎸🤠 R.I.P. Dickey Betts ✌️😔
Thanks for the Amazing Music 🍑
Gonna miss you, Dickey!🙏❤️🎶🔥
We are right behind him. It seems every year the music becomes more poignant.
I'm sad to note how few American news sources have noted the recent passing of Akebono Taro (Chad Rowan), the Hawaiian-born sumo wrestler who was the first non-Japanese fighter to attain the sport's highest rank of yokozuna.
I appreciate this memoriam piece. Eric Carmen also passed away recently. His name has not been featured in any one of these segments.
Godspeed Mr. Dickey Betts, we named our only daughter after the song “ Jessica”.She was # 3 after having 2 boys.Rock on in rock and roll heaven.✌🏻💜⭐️
You forgot Mandisa, one of the most successful American Idol contestants, and one of the greatest Christian pop artists of our era. I bet her and Dickey were singing up a storm this weekend.
Really shocked and saddened to hear about Mandisa. So very young. 😢
Godspeed To All……
Forgot about legendary LA Ram QB Roman Gabriel who passed away on Saturday
And so Many Many more known but to a few.
Unfortunately Mandisa was omitted from the 'In Memoriam' tribute. Research her if unfamiliar. Please include her in next week's segment and the use of her inspiring anthem "Overcomer" would be an appropriate theme song for the segment.
Disappointed that you didn’t include Mandisa.
THEY GOT ME TIED TO THE WHIPPING POST
Rip😢
Go Rest High On That Mountain.
RIP
Where was Mandisa
They forgot Mandisa!
You forgot Daniel Dennett !
My sentiments exactly! How could they?
R.I.P. Peter Higgs, the guy that, I guess, figured out the “God Particle” in Physics!! (Where’s the emoji for brain exploding 💥)
Something is going on. We are witnessing an unprecedented frequency of earthquakes all over the world, and deaths of celebrities since the first of the year. I'm not suggesting these two events are linked together in any way, other than the unusually high frequency of both of these meaningful events. I am suggesting that Something weird is going on. I would also submit that by the time we figure out what is going on it may be too late. Mmm.
Wtf are you talking about? The youngest person here was 80 and more than half were over 90. People die, it's normal.
OJ Simpson and Robert McNeil and others will be missed, but never forgotten
If not familiar with that song look it up it’s called Blue sky by the allman bros 1972 eat a peach the guitar solo is great one of my favorite Dickey betts vocals and guitar
You forgot about O.J. Simpson who died the week before last and what happened to the In Memoriam last week?
They didn't 4get 2 post it.... They purposely omitted it bcuz they didn't want 2 mention OJ Simpson. He is 2 controversial.
