    I'm sorry, but removing the axle nut when car is in the air on jack stands without impact is quite dangerous.....why not loosen the nut when the car is on the ground

      This vid proves just how bad Haynes is. I had one of their manuals for a car I owned for over 10 years and it was common for it to be wrong and even at its best it was vague. The internet is a much better source -- namely, forums with other owners.

      Agreed, I get them lose while on the ground then take the car up in the air.

      lol so your recommendation is that I put the car on the ground with a tire off and take the axel nut out?

    Pure garbage. Never bothered to tell us what size the axle nut is. No big deal. Everyone who watches how-to videos should already know, eh? Its a 32MM for anyone who came here for that info.
