You can't disable the Exo Movement in AW, Bo3 or IW, and you can't disable Tac Sprint in MW 2019 onwards (barring Cold War not having it) so having the option to turn it off, is not only stupid, but contrary to every innovation COD has ever done. Even in Bo3 Zombies, you were not able to play Zombies without Gobblegum Machines. These features are baked into the game and it makes sense, when putting thousands of hours, dollars and ridiculous manpower, that you wouldn't wanna let people disable the feature(s) that literally makes your game unique in the first place.
And while loopable streaks are great, we've had many COD Games that didn't have that, even back during the Golden Era, so it's really not that big of a deal. On top of that, Matt himself even said "we'll be listening to your feedback of course" so... your biggest complaints are the most minor of minor complaints, basically.
We should be able to force the devs into giving loopable streaks.

You could also be fucking patient with Treyarch. The difference between MW3 and BO6 is that one of these titles is already out, saw the feedback from launch, and worked out most issues these few months. BO6 isn't even out yet, we have little information to work with until Cod next, and you're complaining that they aren't finding a middle ground for all players when it hasn't been a full fucking day since the podcast was posted.
that’s what happens when you focus on negatives… the only bad thing they announced was the non loopable scorestreaks and they even said it could be changed if the community wants it to.
idk who thought having a toggle on/off for the movement, a feature that is the foundation of the game, was ever going to happen… that’s like being able to turn off jet packs in bo3
@@untilco you could go into specific playlists in both Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare to not allow jetpacks. Again I never played those because I enjoy movement, but it’s nice to introduce these things to allow all players to enjoy the experience at the cost of absolutely nothing. It takes no time to add a toggle feature and the maps in this game aren’t jetpack maps so the movement wouldn’t effect the overall gameplay whatsoever. But again the commentary is mostly about the community not being apart of the process, not just simply no toggle switch = bad.

I don’t understand why people would want a toggle to turn off a new feature in a new game that change the gameplay of that game? Turning off Omnidirectional movement would be the equivalent of turning off the bionic movement in Advanced Warfare
If they dont want 2 use it just dont press sprint wen going in a diff direction then forwards anyways...

If someone actually complains it feels too much like Cold War 2.0 when they can literally change that with a click of a button then they are insane. You can't disable slide cancels and tac sprint in the other games, so why is not being able to disable omni movement a bad thing?? You can still treat it like normal movement and sprint in a straight line.

Imagine turning off jet packs in black Ops 3 MP and complaining about jet packs being overpowered. I think omnimovement is going to work the same way. Turning off the movement is going to have even above average players at a disadvantage. Casual or below average players aren't going to care or notice the difference either way

@@PhaZe_Smoak both Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare had a no jetpack gamemode. I never bothered playing them because I liked the movement, but it was nice to have that option for players who didn’t care for it.

I couldnt finish this video bc this is honestly ridiculous. It must be a slow news week when content creators start getting click baity omni movement needs a toggle off? Wtf? What game does that? Where can i toggle off the bullshit movement on xdefiant and only match with people who dont use it? 😂
They actively nerfed the movement and are still considering nerfing it more in the future + you aren't forced to use the movement yourself, if you don't wanna hop then don't it's as simple as that. R6 messed with the movement to find a middle ground for the community, Apex messed with movement, COD messed with movement, there are tons of games that have done this. So no I don't see much of a reason to not include a toggle option for those who want it, especially when this movement isn't just a tiny bunny hop or slide canceling, this movement will be a massive change for many players (which im excited for) but there's no middle ground whatsoever for those who are looking for a traditional COD vibe.
There's no middle ground because if you can turn off the movement you'd be at a significant disadvantage and rightfully so. You can't make movement equal if the other player turns off the movement. Then what would be the point of adding and coding in this advanced movement?

I'd like to think that having a toggle on and off option would result in poor movement balance. I mean it kinda makes sense, does it not?
As much as im not a cod fan right now, i am keen to see the new movements, it sounds like theyre bringing back an element of exo movent, i cant remember if bo3/4 could dash. If the movement is a core part of functionality then it might not be possible to switch it on and off with a toggle in the settings. If it is possible, i wouldn't be surprised if they implement it later if at all, that way more people will be effectively forced into at least trying it. I feel like it'll be aw, bo3 and bo4 all over where a lot of people just flat out resist change instead of growing a bigger skill set
I’m excited to give it a go, but I know there will be a lot of anti movement players who will hate this. I’m shocked my XDefiant videos get so much movement hate, but now my COD video everyone all of the sudden loves the movement. I can’t read anyone at this point 😂

@@JbowenDaMan I think at this point people just need to accept and come to terms with the fact that cod will have advanced movement mechanics from time to time, people seem to take it personally for some reason, like the game forcing things on people like they don't have the option to just not buy the thing in the first place. Sometimes cod is going to have to push the boundaries it has set itself in order to stay relevant, it's as simple as that. If people don't like it then they can do what I do and don't buy it, i don't buy it mostly because of eomm
Said it before, gonna say it again, the LAST thing you should do is to listen to active community cos these people are ultimately going to destroy your game, why? cos these people are not the actual majority, people who participate in polls and questionaries are around 10% of entire audience, so by listening to them you are making a game for 10% of the people not for 90% people.
I remember once I had a talk with my friend who is a content creator 3D artist and when he told me that he minimize the community involvement in the content he create I asked him "why?", he answered "because I have a statistics, the suggestions they give me is not something that actually getting views, leads, sales and revenue, if you want to know what actual majority actually want you have to look at a sales statistics, not poll results, because ultimately people ALWAYS vote with their wallets." and what do I see? his revenue is climbing further and further up, he recently moved in to a different house in a better district.
If majority would actually get disappointed in your product they would just stop buying it and the sure to make it happen is to listen to 10% of the audience that participate in online discourse around game.

I think cod is a little diffrent. I think player retention would be a better number to use rather than sales. The COD team is great at hype, and a lot of people buy the game play a little and drop it. The game always breaks sales but they stopped showing player numbers cause of the fast fall off of active users
@@zanzeroth player retention is irrelevant pass certain point, revenue statistics over the span of project is much more reliable as it shows how many loyal customers do you actually have cos if user spend money on the game he is much more likely to stick around.

I like how half of the video he complains about the score streaks not looping and saying that they won’t do anything about it but in the podcast video they said “they will not loop for the time being” so they are open to letting them loop they are just starting off like that to get the feel I presume

I think You can’t just toggle it on or off since all the animations were made based on the new movement.
The fact that he said "Right now scorestreaks don't loop" gives me a notion this is experimenting. Perhaps if there is a consistent voice about it all, especially during the Betas, it might bear fruit and things can change. Same goes for the omnimovement factor.
Doesn't matter what anyone at Activision/Tryarch/IW/Sledgehammer/Raven say at this point, if their oppressive ass SBMM system and scumbag ass EOMM system is in the game I'm out. Too many solid games to have fun with without getting lied too and fleeced, CoD doesn't have that influence anymore.
To be honest, really honest, i don't care about things about bo6, as long as i can play the game when it gets released, fine by me

I think you’re tripping a bit mister. Turning off omnimovement would be like turning off the slide, it’s pointless. If you don’t want to use it you don’t have to, just like you don’t have to slide if you don’t want. People will get used to it and it will be good for gameplay. Not looping scorestreaks is a bit dissapointing tho

You also have to remember that Sledgehammer Games incorporated a Classic Playlist in Advanced Warfare for those players that didn't want to fly around with jetpacks. I don't really get on board with Call of Duty anymore but based off working with the community SHG is the GOAT development team.

I thought in the reveal trailer they explicitly stated that “You can turn OFF omnimovemwent if you want the more traditional movement.” I personally don’t care, I just think it’s hilarious that in less than a month they have already lied to the community lol

Once the game is released, we will see what happens. No need to listen to feedback of a few peoples opinions. After the game is released, they will listen to the community I'm sure. They would be dumb not to. They aren't stupid. Xdefiant doesn't do anything people ask for, they just keep saying they will get to it eventually. No.. They have their own roadmap they want to accomplish, and dealing with a spider bot is not a priority. Being in the loop doesn't mean anything, it's just Public Relations. Doesn't mean anything will ever happen.

Loopable streaks was annoying asf, now if they can fix the matchmaking or tweak it a bit this will be the first call of duty I might enjoy in a while since it’s clone (xdefiant) came out
Am not going to judge it before it's out or beta released. If i play the beta and its the same as the last 4-5 COD, I may be skipping this as well. For now i have hope and still giving chances for COD, because they have potential for greatness.
No looping streaks in bo6 I guess they doing this to protect bad players once again. I’ll just buy the game when it goes on sale for half the price a month after release
I swear the only reason to buy/play CoD at this point is for Zombies. For me at least. Yeah they fumbled it twice (Vanguard and MW3), but the lore of it is still interesting enough; I don't mind doing the Easter eggs.

they said you could turn off Omni movement in the Black ops 6 Direct. they lied
they never said you could turn it off, they showed and image with the top screen saying "on" and the bottom screen saying "off", but never actually said players can toggle it on and off. It was a poor graphic/wording they should have said "before" and "after" to get the point across this is the games new movement system, but they had to try to over simplify it since the call of duty community are some of the dumbest people on the planet, but apparent they over simplified the demonstration of the system so much that its went beyond their stupidity and instead cod players took it literally thinking that "on" and "off" means players and turn it on and off.
No they didn't you might have mistaken Omni movement with intelligent movement which is sprint assist mantle assist and crouch assist that can be toggled off not Omni movement

While I hope BO6 is amazing and it will give me reason to reinstall and buy COD again, I'm not getting my hopes up. The franchise has lost it's identity and that turns me off more than SBMM and the rest of the "BM" they've been trying to sell us for the last decade. they're over hyping it and upon release they'll deliver like 3 Fourths of what they've shown and 1 month later they introduce any missing parts and then within 2 months of the game's release the game's popularity decreases quite a bit due to the same reasons that the last 3 modern warfare games had

The so-called new movement in black ops 6 is not new it's just stolen from other older games that people haven't played or played and for got about like being able to dive in different directions and crawl around in different directions and shot from back on the ground and shot from other directions while on the ground. They got it from Battlefield 5, and if you played Battlefield 5 like me, you will already be used to the so-called new movement in black ops 6. Cod just takes from other games they haven't been innovative since black ops 2 after black ops 2 cod hasn't had there on good idea in years. Cod is just a copy game now that's all they do now is copy from other games and try to make it work in their game, and it never works. They take the things that work great in their game and the things people love in their games. They take them away to put things that don't work into their games. Instead of keeping the things that work and that people love. Then they bring them back and say that it's new and innovative.

Bo3 was too futuristic also, mp was playable and zombies were bad, but old remastered zombie maps were good but pay to win bubblegums ruined zombies. Imo best cods are in order og mw3, bo1, waw and og mw2. Cod has been massive down hill since og mw3😆
