For what its worth my take is this. I have many watches Rolexes and various others I love them all. There has never been a better time to collect watches of all brands.
Thanks for the great review. I think this watch is fantastic. I’ve never really liked Omegas (or even Clomages / Homages), but this one is intriguing me. Watchdives is hands down my favorite Clomage brand. As for Clomages, I personally have some rules I follow. Vintage watches are fair game. Period. I don’t do Clomages of Microbrands. And a Clomage has to be at least 1/10 of the price of the original.
Those sound like good rules. I try to stay away from really close clones of currently available models, unless there's something unique about the homage. I am really enjoying this Watchdives in 39mm. The size is just perfect. Thanks for watching!
This is exactly what i need. The looks that I want, with decent quality and with a price tag of a dispensable item, like a watch should be. Dont think you should every day wear a 5000 dollar watch unless you are very rich.
Ive waited for the green version for so long. They released it already but the green doesnt seem dark enough. The size looks amazing but i will get the phylida instead as the green is better and also with ceramic bezel instead of aluminium from the watchdives
Watch looks great but why go with a matt bezel and gloss dial? This is a mistake, it should be one or the other, both matt or both gloss. I hope they amend this
Well, I did. But it was the Planet Ocean due to the lack of a smaller sized 300 Pro. Then there's the price too. Most of us can't have all the watches we want.
I don't know, captain obvious. Could be because spending $6000 on a hunk of metal that tells time is obscene and irresponsible. Whey buy an Omega Seamster when you can buy 90% of that watch for 2% of the price?

It has two helium escape valves. The crown does exactly the same when opened after a dive.. Good review. I'm thinking of getting it

Yeah, the green on the Watchdives does look a bit light, though the pictures on their website aren't great.
The dual screw pins for the bracelet kills it for me. Otherwise I absolutely love this watch. Watchdives should make a peter Blake model
