"This is NOT a sprint, it's a marathon" .... Awesome!!!
Have a great weekend and don't forget to smile!
American efficiency. One man working, 3 men watching😂
Looks like state workers 🤣🤣🤣 I'm really enjoying watching this house being built. Thanks for sharing it with us Geoff and family stay safe 🍻🍹
Union build
@@tommoxam1401At least it will be right then.
Who is holding the Stop Go signal sigh?
Chris is not there , obviously
Humming the Sound of Silence. Love it.
Steps idea common sense I believe. Window installation interesting. It is a marathon and good to watch the process too.
Good Sunday morning everyone 😂😂😂😂😂😂 from Australia
Love the humming Sound of Silence while you work
Love you guys all working in harmony with banter ant how it should be, not what the USA media lead you to believe , good video Geoff thanks . I’m from England so I only know what the USA press tells us with racial tensions in America etc.etc.
Great group of men working together. If you keep them fed you may have a new home soon. Everyone works well together and knows what to do. That's what makes a quality job when finished. Great call on Mrs B. For skipping stairs and getting the big stuff done now.
I don't know how you did it Jeff, but you got this group of misfits starting to look like a viable crew. Just kidding. They have improved so much from the beginning. On future projects maybe you can assemble wall sections off site and just deliver them to the building crew. With many projects going on, I think it would save time for the installers. Hope I last long enough to see the finished product when Mrs. Bealy plants a well deserved kiss on that mug of yours. ha
We used V buck (Vinyl buck system) doing our ICF build. Really satisfied with it and much easier to cut the PVC system.
A really good update bro, a rather cleaver humming bee cranking out a tune too. Safe travels. Ken.
You want as much door on the pump room as possible
How about a roller shutter door
Don’t struggle getting things through a narrow opening
Lovely weather Geoff
From a very wet England 🏴 🏴🏴
Hey Dr. BG, Lookin' Good!!! Can't wait for the day you pour! Semi-organized chaos!! Should be fun to watch!! Thumbs up! Safety first! Jim
Mr Bealy Goode get that man some good bits !!
Mr Bealygood tell them guys having issues with installing those screws to keep a bottle of dish detergent handy , add a few drops on the end of the screw and it will go in very easy. I've used dish detergent when installing screws into thick wood for years.
Great tip!
When I was a young man my old boss gave me a cake of soap for the screw’s worked well ,
@@colinkennedy8730- Wax too. I use beeswax.
Fantastic job and view. Coming along nicely. Have a Blessed Day and Work Safely.
Thanks, you too!
I think you are more in the ultra marathon mode, great job.
The Pump Room building with the ICF Construion, light Work! The Windows Construction the heavy labourer. To the Day how the Concrete come, Your have all Preparation. 💪👌👍
I'd try drilling pilot holes for the screws in that that 1.5 inch buck material!
Nice video Mr Bealy Good. You have a nice crew to work with.
Predrilling saves on screw heads and split wood.
That sounds like the path of least resistance
Great video!! Keep pushing!!
Bealy Good, the sound of silence? Am I on the right channel? Awesome job folks!
He should not quit his day job.....
Enjoyed it
I chuckled the whole way through. Q was awesome. Oh heck, all the guys were. It's coming together really well, Geoff.
Everything is coming together you are going to have a beautiful place and a beautiful house when you are done
Pond is looking good Geoff!!
Geoff looking great! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Quincy your doing a Great job!! 😊❤
Keep up the good work. Thanks
Team work getting it done😊 have a great weekend
Hello, looking good. Keep the good work up.
good progress, keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍👍
Progress!
I think Quincy starting to sound like mr.Bealey Good.he has been around Geoff to long.making progress, like you said this is a marathon not a wam bam thank you build.great video as always all the guys did a great job.just continue doing what you do best 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Wow window with a view. Coming together. Have a good work week.
Thank you! You too!
Blimey Geoff! Get Quincy a decent Impact driver! That was painful!
He loves his Milwaukee
You can’t go wrong when your main man is laying down some Skynyrd.
with all those wide window bucks. It be a track saw for me and a 33 inch track. Portable table and a piece of styrofoam as a backer. Best tool I ever invested in
And the Metabo Triple hammer impact drill.. I’m a huge Milwaukee guy but Not even close in performance
Wish I had one 🤣
A lot of side pressure on that pre-buck, better to make the horizontal pieces shorter and the vertical pieces longer, especially at the bottom. Saves extra bracing.
Looking good, you should definitely be hurricane proof.
If you are going to continue up after pouring the walls set up now, put clear packing tape on the top of the install forms. That way concrete won't need to be cleaned out of the top connections.
Already bought some 😁
I really enjoy the music you include in your videos. 👍🏻
Glad you enjoy it!

Oh the Boots are Great, I was Nervous about the Steel Toe, I have always found them Uncomfortable, but I just removed the Lower inside Pad it they fit Great...THANKS!
Geoff, a half bath in the pump room is a good idea. Do you need a rinsing shower due to having a saltwater pool, like they have at the beaches. Can't wait to see the big pour coming up.
10:29 Good old ported boxes. Yes sir, with 15 inch JBL's was heaven when the ports were right. Mid range and tweeter were many options but that bass had to be JBL's in my book.
Still using my original set of Harman/Kardon ported computer speakers from 1997 on my desktop today. Sound like brand new. Suckers got some heavy magnets. I know there is better tech out there but it don't sound the same.
She's Good! Listen ta Her! Cool!
You need to make a trip to Harbor Freight and buy several Hercules Drill drivers. They are brushless with 5 year warranty. Good tools at half the price. Always deals.
Anyone else catch the comments about the real engineer and architect AKA Boss on the job Mrs Beally we can honestly say Geoff has to report to her each day and she makes up his mind on what to do 😂😂😂😂 Happy Wife Happy Life 😅😅 great video now if she comes out with White Hardhat on the days of the pour and sets under shade tree drinking a martini watching everyone work we will know the story
29:38 Every window framing I've seen has holes in the bottom plate to ensure the concrete flows completely under it.
@15:28 I never thought I'd see this again: assembling bucks with Phillips screws. In my 50 years of assembling windows we went from phillips screws to square socket for light duty and Torx for heavy duty applications we were assembling bucks with panning up to 144 inches . We manufactured aluminum windows , the company started in 1952 I started working for them in 1973 I retired in 2023 50 years. . I built sliding glass patio doors and terrace doors for 30 years I also built the various lines of custom shape windows, that was a job I loved doing (chuckling) two men said I was intense as Picasso with these windows , but I never cut my ear off ,LOL Wojan window and door corp..
These are T25’s
@@BealyGood Ok pardone T30 no. 10 screw enamel or yellow plated but tube wax my man it won't jump or break or strip, wood is tuf but 6065-T6 aluminum is tuffer when using 4 inch T30 no.10 screws flat heads with a 1 inch shank .
It was Van Gogh who cut his ear off btw
@@lastguy8613 I was typing a lengthy reply and hit a wrong key, just ticked outside the box and everything disappeared and the back button did not work, I'm a very spiritual person and when this happens I reverse course I have an intense bond with my creator and when this happens I try not to blow up it's difficult, a test , so I will not repeat it. @@kittty2005 All good my friend, I wasn't trying to judge and I hope Geoff found your information useful. Just pointing out it was a different famous artist that cut his ear off.
My favourite line about Picasso is 'Pablo Picasso was never called a a$$hole' by NWA I think, though they or me could be wrong about that aswell
Damn Geoff, the man with the Smokehouse T-shirt has made me hanker for some BBQ food tonight!
Those are some beefy window frames. Looking very sturdy. I'm guessing your front door will be oversized. 5 foot wide and 11 feet tall on a pivot mechanism? Have a great Sunday!
I wish. Mrs BG is in charge of all the main floor stuff
Some women are great interior designers. I'm sure she's up for the challenge. I hope she does some design/build videos when that happens. Let her know there is already interest. 👍
I would cut the nubs off under the window frame otherwise it won't be flush at the top or am I missing something?
Maybe the Electrical goes after the ICF walls on the House.
just a tip drill a hole before you put a schrewing in the wood
70 1/2" plus a another half inch does not equal 72" when he measured that window . Quincy must use a different way to add since i went to school. Hope everything came out ok. Everything is looking good. When will the pour happen ?
The power of editing 🤣😁
👍👍👍
The sound of silence by Geoff......Classic! Do youi like the original or the cover by Disturbed better?
I really like the cover by Disturbed a lot.
@@BealyGood The "Hurt" cover by Johnny Cash is better than the original also.

Looks like you selected the wrong colour space in the video, its really over saturated/high contrast in first few minutes? Great to follow your progress down here in Australia
Yeah. I fought with this one.
@@BealyGood Final cut pro? Was the first clip from a different camera? I usually copy video edit controls from one video and paste over the other clips for uniformity
So much easier to pre drill for the screws… no splitting and much tighter closure…
No pre drilling creates a vaginal opening when screwing 😂
@@adriancarter825 😂😂we all like a vaginal opening…🫢🫢🤫🤫
👍
Hey Geoff let the guys know if they keep a bar of soap with them for the screws they won't strip out as bad
Looks like you are using Phillips Head screws. You have to put a lot of pressure on those to keep the bit from popping out on long screws. Try Torx or Torq (same thing, different brands). They drive a lot easier. I tried those and threw all of my. PH screws out.
T 25 Torx
T25’s
Sure hope a good wind dont come around those Styrofoam forms will be in kansas along with toto!
You are good at humming "Sound of Silence" but can you sing it?? :)
Most of it
I’ll be looking forward to hearing you next time.
How do you get cement under the bucks when pouring
Use a hole saw to make some openings
Remember, there's no such thing as scrap, just smaller pieces not yet used. I still have cutoffs of 2x6's and 8's from when I built my garage in 07
If you're having that much trouble with those screws going in try putting some soap or oil on them and then put them in
So Geoff are you including bars on the windows to protect your daughters from the boys that will be trying to sneak in in the middle of the night in a few years?
One of my friend father meet every boy that came to date his daughter with a 12 gauge pump at the door, and he ask the boy his name and write it on the double 0 Buck shell, he then would then place the shell in the chamber and tell the boy the curfew time, and tell him if he was late, him and Remington would be looking for him, he show the boy a shelf on the wall where he had 4 spent shells with boys names on them, and he tell them that those boys did not like the result of being 10 minutes over curfew.😂😂😂😂
We all knew he was mean enough to do what he said, he laugh about what he do to scare the boys in getting his daughter home on time and in one piece, at the Coop, but she seemed to visit her sick aunt a lot in Minnesota for a few week in high school. He one time was boasting about how pure his daughter was at the Coop, and you could see several of the farm boys holding back laughter.😂😂😂. She was in a class above me and did not date under class of 80, I was the class of 81.😂😂😂
Those weren’t grk screws that were giving trouble slipping in the bit?
T-25’s. Quincy believes in Milwaukee drills but that little thing didn’t have enough power
Don't forget to leave a few time capsules
Need an outdoor shower
👋👋
Your camera seems to be having issues. The color is off (pink gravel), and was in an earlier video too.
Yeah. I’m trying out color editing and failing 🤣
17:39 What you need right there is a Filipino screwdriver. Whilst building some internet cafe cubicles out of timber, plyboard and screws I left my partners Filipino uncle to build some. I heard some banging and went to have a looksie to find uncle using his 'screwdriver' aka hammer to put the screws in. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He was a carpenter I was told.
🤣🤣
@22:07 I never got shot at had animal control called on me they thought a grizzly was trying to get in, 6feet 8 360 lbs. wearing brown carhart head to toe at night yeah .
you forgot too add the wood thicknesses on bucks
I counted the 3" total for the bucks. I didn't figure the 1/2" for each side for adjustment. But I am custom ordering the windows so will be measuring final openings before order.
At the rate your going You could have built a frame house in 1/10 of the time !! Of course what you really need is a leader that knows what they are doing !!! He sure likes to through fancy words around like Pre-Buck.....
Yeah, I could’ve just paid out 300,000 more dollars and had somebody already framed it for me by now. Would have ended up with some inefficient piece of crap that wouldn’t be storm proof or fireproof or energy efficient.
Look at the view, big pile of forms. LOL.
double check those window openings.........those bucks i think to small for rough openings
The thing is huge
70 1/2 + 1/2 is not 72”
The video is Bealy dark.
Yeah. The lighting has been all over the place which is difficult for an amateur video editor like me.
@17:31 OMG at least get a product called tube wax or stick wax poke the screw into the soft material and it lubes the screw and it goes right in without stripping, stripping screws will test your temper or lack there of please please it will increase your productivity immensely, buy a case it's well worth it.
Your window is 72+ not 69. If 69 is your actual height!
The 69” boards are on the inside

Can you let the rest of the people in the world know what the initials ICF mean? Writing in initials is not helpful.
Thats why I take the time to write a description
