Thank you @missyscholl1...so lead me to my curiosity of learning about it..read it actually rare and found only in Dominican Republic but also read to be Cautious because blue colour is photosensitive and fades with time if exposed to too much light and heat..interesting (at least to me...lol😂)

Hi! Sandra and Grandma! Those fan earrings are from the middle east! My dad who was with the Snowbirds flying team was also sent to Egypt for 6 months . Dad brought back many earrings. Some were fans and I have the exact same pair that are pierced! Dad was there in 1976. I think your earrings came from the same place! Great video,and the blue necklace is awesome love it!! Great video ladies! The brutalist pendant and some of the “out there” pieces, I always consider “art teacher” jewelry! In my rural school, the art teachers always impressed me as edgy and stylish with their outfits and jewelry!

The larimar is nice. I use sunshine clothes on stone necklaces. My favorite is the miracle pin, i think it is just beautiful. I also love the monet rope with the chain twisted around it. I absolutely loved the video, the conversation between you and your Mom is so nice to listen to. I also really appreciate the time you take with each piece. I have never seen a trombone pin closure before today. So cool. Oh and i cracked up when you were showing the fancy pup and in comes the scrufty dog. 😂 . Funny stuff.

A terrific haul. The stones in your Mother's favorite necklace are Larimar. I love the interesting earrings that were stuck together and two of the chains - silver tone Monet at 40:46 and gold tone at 41:59 but I would probably take off the tassel. (not into tassels)

Please don t deconstruct the YSL chain to put on the lion s head. If it s real it s worth quite a bit of money! It should have the intials engraved on other places too when it s real. You passed it up quickly😌. The silver necklace with blue stones is Larimar I think. Great lot for 80 dollars, a steal really.

I have 18 ziplock large bags of 5 to 10 pounds of jewelry,.
I don’t want the extra jewelry. Plus, I’ll making more bags due to me purchasing lots of jewelry bags.
I’m just not sure what to do with all the jewelry.

I like to sell them at auctions - not the online kind. If I didn’t do that, I would have way too much stuff. Try to see if there’s a live auction in your area. Maybe even have a yard sale and charge $1 each? Just a thought. Good luck!

I think trombone clasps have been around since the mid-1800s. I am pretty sure they are still being used today. Hope this helps!

Hi there. I usually use a dry paintbrush to remove dust and dirt. Verdigris gets removed with vinegar. Water and jewelry cleaner is used sparingly and with caution. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
