THANK YOU for showing us that with proper tech support, basic skills, tools, encouragement and fluffy, 4-legged distractions, just about anyone can make functional & beautiful places to "nest"!
And THANK YOU for showing us that mistakes and mishaps can & do happen, but that there are always ways to re-do, correct or adapt to changes that an "ooops!" can cause. You never throw tools or tantrums, sulk, swear or give up - at least on camera! A Can-Do Attitude is always the best inspiration for me, anyway!
I LOVE the addition of the Northern Lights to the exterior!! Most folks would just stick a few stars or a favorite constellation on there, but you literally and figuratively "nailed" one of my favorite aspects of a clear night sky as seen far away from the lights of civilization.
    Ooooh! Ahhhh!

My wife and I watched Dave last night too and we were both tired, curled up on our large chair. Fell asleep and had to roll back the footage. I love this and the cabin builds. A great escape from the drama of the world.

Here's another thing that really impressed me about you building this unique gypsy wagon.
How you did the sink and put the pipe in there. You know how to sweat copper, girl!
And that in itself is quite impressive!
You know how to run a jigsaw a circular saw you know how to use a square.
You are my kind of person.
My husband and I built our house and he recently passed away on September 3rd this year and I miss him greatly and the little bugger actually decided to leave on our anniversary day.
    We were married 34 years.
And had the time of our life,
Building our own house on 13 telephone poles and it sits off the ground by 3 ft all the way around.
You can crawl totally under our house. 360 in a form of a square.
People ask us well. How do you keep your water line from freezing coming up into your house.
That's simple. You drive a thick wall PVC pipe over your water line and you allow for an airspace for ground heat to rise and if you really worried about it. Freezing you slide a insulated sleeve over the water line for added protection inside the thick wild PVC pipe which goes four and a half feet in the ground over the water line.
PVC pipe comes up through the floor and our water line is attached to one of the telephone poles that we used to build our house. You're more than welcome to take a trip over here to Ohio in Morrow County and visit me sometime and check out the house that my husband and I built.
We had a ball building it.

Metal fabricator here, a tip for drilling if you don't know already is using machine oil or a cutting wax, it will make your drill bits last longer & will be easier to drill.

I'm very relieved to hear you say you are slow. It took me a week to add on a cattle panel hoop to my chicken run. It was partly my age, partly my lack of energy (67 years old at the time), and when it came time to do the open end of the curve on the cattle panel and add the doorway framing up??! After hitting my head 12 times on the door way I wrote "DUK DAMMIT" on the header in fat black magic marker! I collapsed to the ground crying! lol. I'm putting up a 12x16 cattle panel greenhouse in a few months. I'm making my husband help getting the 4x4 posts put in straight and square. He is hard to pin down sometimes with rental properties. After that I think I'm ok. Your attention to the little details is very good. Especially when it comes to the little touches and decor. Wish I had known I liked this stuff decades ago! We have a corgi/lab and corgi+almost anything/dog is the best!!

Isn't it amazing how our most frustrating mistakes end up being an aesthetic end result? (door knob, in particular) Brooke you validate why all my building is "artistic" and practical! You are a talented builder and gifted artist!

You have built a truly unique structure that is both utilitarian and aesthetically, a treasure.
Then the video production is it’s own work of art; audio, video and final film.
Applause, applause for a beautiful gypsy wagon and this gorgeous presentation. ❤

Brooke, I'm SO in love with this wagon! I've seen the ones they used on Peaky Blinders and told my daughter I want one so bad lol! She says I'm Polly but with red hair and green eyes, because I "know" things, as her gypsy character did. I'm also a badass like her, and you 😊 You did such a wonderful job on this, I'm so proud of you! I'd totally live in that.
