After my testing earlier this week with the Soil Cultivator, I found that going to the deepest setting provided the most topsoil BUT I found left a fair amount of low spots and some uneven terrain that are best dealt with using the Power Rake for the smoothest most even surface possible. My customers hire me because I'm able to leave a surface so smooth, you don't want to walk on it when it's finished. I haven't yet had the opportunity to test the Primary Seeder to see if this would flatten any irregularities left behind by the Cultivator but the design looks really good. I would love to test the attachments together on the same job
@@CopperCreekCuts A few hours. Like I said in my video, I'm sure there is a lot more to learn but after looking it over I understand how it works. It's just a matter of fine tuning some adjustments I think but still need the Power Rake
Eric I have watched this several times and I noticed the ventrac did not do the entire job........ no straw... that being said I would like to see an attachment that holds 2-3 bales of straw and spreads it. It could be done with gravity over some sort of blade that you can control flow but yet also get the straw done in a good amount of time. Between a spreader on the front and a pallet of straw on the back that job could be pretty efficient
This house style is so common the past couple years. I’ve seen them all over Medina, Wayne, Summit, and Stark counties. Love listening to Aaron share everything about the work and the Ventrac.
I bought a 4500Y and installed a turbo. It has more power than I really need and still get 8-10 hours of work time--(depending on attachment.) Mower deck gets about 6 hours of work time due to the higher RPM's. It's garage stored and if you do the proper the maintenance you shouldn't have any problems. I bought in 2018 with the 72" mower deck, grapple bucket, plow and rake. It has 500 hours on it without any problems whatsoever.

The ventrac is an incredible piece of equipment, to purchase it with all the attachments seen in this video one would have to be willing to sell an organ on the black market to afford one .
Hello Aaron. I have about 2000 sq.ft. to install a new lawn exactly the way you did it in this video. I'm in Cleveland, OH. Who should I call that has all of those attachments? Thanks, Terry McNeil
Not real familiar with the process of sprigging but the cultivator does a good job burying debris and leaving a finished top soil for new seed to be planted.
You didn't show scraping of high spots and filling in low spots. All you did was go over perfectly flat ground which is never the case. Now lets see what this thing can do in a huge open area with many high and low area's to level out? None of those attachments would work for that.
@@ventrac In other words its costs way more than it should so please call so we can bs you into buying one. FFS give us a real answer and stop with the act.
Way overpriced specialized equipment that only works on their machine. The only thing I can see the Ventrac does well is mow on a side hill and that's about it. Get a bobcat or tractor for all the other tasks and you'll be way ahead.
Nice work Arron, can you do a followup post when the lawn is green?

How much seat time did you end up with on the cultivator?

@@CopperCreekCutsdo you do lawn installs? I’ve never seen you do them on your channel.
Still have to get ass off machine once and while and do some hand work...Been doing sod-seeding for 35 years...A machine can only do so much...
@@toddmatson4179 but the more it can do, the better! :)

Both of these new attachments are great. I cant wait to see them first hand at a dealer.
Man, I love these ventracs and the attachments, I don’t need one to for my 2 acres but boy do I want to figure out a way to get one!

Is it possible to pull the cultivator using the 3-n-1 adapter with the 3 point hitch?
AWESOME!!!
Dear god, the dust.
I hate using the 3 point power rake, god forbid I had to drive into the dust.
Does the music in your video attract customers?
Is the cultivator a tiller with a grate press?
Would it be reasonable to run the primary seeder on the rear of the tractor to avoid the tire marks?
No pto
That or, the roller attachment in tandem.
@@chuckbenzing134 roller attachment would be the only option.

So this or a skid loader?

Where's the snowblower
Except you’re not supposed to use material with organics in it for fill.

25k in attachments to install a yard 😂😂
can the soil cultivator also work on the back of the machine and use the power rake on the front
or just use the cultivator on the back
