Great video. It’s really helpful hearing what conditions you like to look for for. With the high winds that are gusting recently, do you find yourself using a heavier Carolina rig as opposed to toss the lucky craft?
Thank you for the feedback. Yes I would say Carolina rig over a lucky craft in winds because the winds will make it harder to cast the lucky craft. Especially onshore if you are surf fishing. Thanks for watching and giving me more ideas for content and to help people out.

Great times! The bunks are typical size. Like a twin size mattress. There may be a couple larger odd shaped bunks but I got a standard on the top of 3 in a room of 6
I was using 40lb mono top shot (50 yards) at the end of 40lb spectra main line. The rental rods (accurate tern 2) had the same set up. Some anglers that brought their own stuff used Fluor. I used to go all spectra to short 6’ long fluro leader but this year I switched and am going with mono. It worked for me this trip.

I like the tern 2 star drag a lot. Super smooth drag, great free spool, just don’t know about maintenance. I’m rough on reels.
