Frank and Lorenzo is my favorite duo on this series. There's such respect between them and it's clear that they either are or are becoming very good friends.

I love the amount of faith Frank has in Lorenzo. that "So how was the deboning, was it hard, but once you got it you got it?" You could really tell he is indeed an instructor, wanting to give Lorenzo something that would challenge him but knowing he would do it right once he tried. And Lorenzo wondering why the heck he was doing most of the steps, but at the end realizing he would definitely steal some of these tricks. Always good to see them both on screen, but this was just wholesome.
It's marvellous! Also, on a funny side note: the head of the Dutch Poultry Union is called Hennie de Haan. And yes, that translates to Hen the Rooster.

My science teacher is LITERALLY like Lorenzo, jokes, sometimes dirty, like a friend, laughs and tells stories; always thinks of the students like friends instead of students, he also rarely assigns hard quizzes/tests
He has this story about how he is a science teacher and during an experiment with calcium (which is highly flammable when in contact with water) so during the experiment a while back, this girl had on little lulu lemon leggings that cost around 200$. I’m pretty sure you can see where this is going, and she accidentally dropped spilled water on her leggings, and after that she also spilled CALCIUM (about a gram). Which was MORE than enough to set her leggings on FIRE, so all the kids started screaming and running around and he was like “oh sh*t”. Eventually they put her out, and the father wanted him to pay for her leggings (200$). In the end he made a rule NO Lulu lemon leggings aka no expensive clothing on experiment days. So yah, that’s one of the many stories he gave us, there’s one about the first ever fire drill, one about fireballs, and one about splitting the room in half with a literal FIRE WALL.

To be fair, in another of these videos I saw that they counted the price for a whole bottle of olive oil where only a bit was used. They want the price difference to be as much as possible of course. While it's still expensive, it's not as expensive as it is portrayed.

To the director of this episode; I've seen every episode of your cooking shows and this episode is the best I've seen. The chemistry between these two, the choice of food, the beer in the fridge. You did a really good job here. It actually feels a little better when the novice chef struggles a bit. I enjoyed it a lot - Keep up the good work!
I should start calling him Tito Lorenzo. He's that one Filipino uncle that you can always ask for help and will take on a challenge... even though he has no idea what the f he's supposed to do. A lot of; "Whoops!" "It's fine." "Don't worry, I got it." "Can you give me that ano- no, that ano!" while making a mess 😹
Frank is knowledgeable and smooth and a great instructor; Lorenzo is so dang personable. I would watch either of them cook either of these dishes, but the fact that they're working together is just dynamite. I would tune into their show every day. I feel like Frank would do an awesome job making suggestions for elevating dishes and explaining cooking processes and kitchen hacks, and Lorenzo could make dishes feel more accessible and the legwork less daunting. Just a wonderful duo.
I was watching this and Lorenzo saying: "When I'm nervous I talk in a different language-" was the most relatable thing ever- like as an European I can talk 5 languages- like I have a variety of options and it's fun when you start talking to an English speaker and get nervous and 5 languages just appear out of nowhere.
Frank's daughter was on one of these episodes and I was stunned to see how skinny she was. I can't imagine how hard it must be to not pig out with these guys cooking.

I feel like Frank would do an awesome job making suggestions for elevating dishes and explaining cooking processes and kitchen hacks, and Lorenzo could make dishes feel more accessible and the legwork less daunting. I was watching this and Lorenzo saying: "When I'm nervous I talk in a different language-" was the most relatable thing ever- like as an European I can talk 5 languages- like I have a variety of options and it's fun when you start talking to an English speaker and get nervous and 5 languages just appear out of nowhere.
I cannot explain how much I want these two men to be my Dads.
Frank's daughter was on one of these episodes and I was stunned to see how skinny she was. I can't imagine how hard it must be to not pig out with these guys cooking.

Frank is such a cool guy. I wish to never see him in an actual kitchen though, head chefs needed to be the toughest evil in the room. And Lorenzo is really the uncle type, proud pinoy here because of you!
You've clearly never worked in a kitchen. The chefs who think they need to be tough guys have the worst kitchens with an insane turn over rate from the people doing the actual cooking.
