This is a Hardcore Minecraft Let's Play in the 1.20 Trails and Tales Update! Put a slab in middle so you wont be able to kill them when they are in middle and once they come down you can kill them :)

Also put water source block in the middle of the killing area to push the mobs to the wall where the items can be picked up.
Good idea but that wouldn't work bc the killing chambers point is that they take fall damage and then are easier to kill them but if water is under there mobs don't take fall damage

hey Julian here's a tip, instead of breaking leaves for saplings let the leaves dissolve and disappear and it has a more likely chance of dropping more saplings, sticks and apples!

If you had built your slab platform using the bottom side of the block, it would also be mob proof and you wouldn't need to light it up.

Hey I got a tip for the mob farm for 25:30 because it got blown up u can make some of the walls in there water loged,and if u can u can make it a four block place so u don’t have to worry about the middle block unless u wanna try to make them spawn higher so there fall and die instantly,and u can add hoppers with chest! U can make your own design mob loot room too! :)
hi Julien great progress so far. You can use a minecart hopper under the middle block at the mob farm and connect it to a chest to get the loot. how to get iron I hear you ask. Simple. Zombies drop iron ingots at a pretty low chance. it might take you quite some time. but it will be worth it😁

put a fence in the middle so that theyll walk or get pushed, and the items wont jump on it because it isnt a full block itll save you one hopper which isnt much but 5 iron is still worth it , looking forward for the next part

Next island with grass, make a lit up dirt path to bring the dirt to an area you want (mainly to farm passive mobs or keeping some grass blocks around). Enjoyed the video.

To fix the mob farm build up in the middle block to all the way up 😅
Make a pillar in the middle of the farm all the way up so no mobs can be there and no items can be there might fix the creepers seeing u problem too
i dont think words can describe the immense anxiety i got everytime you walk on the edges or run along thin bridges🤣

I am waiting for minecraft bedrock hardcore to release in 1.21 so i can make 100 days hardcore vids just like Julien
Converge the 3x3 drop shoot into a 1x1 and add a hopper at the bottom... That way all the mobs will accumulate in only one block... Also u forgot to spider proof the mob farm by adding slabs to the mob farm...
U are at the point where u can start using stone bricks now... Also u did not make a starter house as promised...

Use water in the middle of the killing chamber and go to nether and find magma under water and also put a wall on water source block to not push down the mobs.magma pushes items downward and you can pick it up
