Chiyo might be the most underrated main support in the entire league. Guy is so incredibly consistent. The only time he struggled was when he was forced onto Zen in stage 2.
If there will be a part 3, I want to know about hotba. I heard many criticisms throughout his long career especially his NYXL days but he imo got better the last 2 seasons In phili and Toronto.
I think the fact he's one of only like 15 or less players from season 1 left tells you what you need to know. He's had ups and downs but teams are still impressed enough to sign him
If there is a part 3 you HAVE to do ttuba…. he had an absolutely disastrous echo but was the best genji during that genji meta and his pharah comes to mind during the cinderella run of the justice. His doom fist really wasn’t that bad either
I just remember when the shock brought in Moth and Architect with the prospect of Super and Sinatraa turning 18 soon. Even with the Shock missing out on the playoffs everyone knew what was about to happen. Sad to see architect where he’s at now.
i feel like taimou, specifically pre owl taimou is very underrated nowadays. People forget that he used to be in the conversation for best widow and hog back in the days. I feel like everybody just remembers the falling apart on winston part of his career
Finally a libero lover like myself, he was and still is my favourite flex dos player to touch the game. He was so flashy and player literally every hero. I remember one time in season 3 he subbed in to play widow on Gibraltar and was sick, literally kept up with lip
Jjonak in terms of just pure mechanical skill, probably still has the best aim out of any flex support, despite being surpassed by a lot of flex supports in terms of overall play I just say that, because the dude was ALWAYS winning the flex support battle challenges during all star week, and on his stream, had games where he would absolutely dunk on professional DPS players when playing characters like Soldier 😂
It's hard to say that when he was absolutely cracked in season 3. Season 2 was kinda a wash since that was the goats era and he couldn't even play DPS. He really didn't begin to fall off until season 4. He was up there with profit and jjoanak as a face of the league in the early years, so it's really hard to say hes that overrated.
@@idabest0 "... absolutely cracked in season 3" Carpe was sitting on the bench more often than not during Season 3. Especially in the second half, when he would have been the most needed. He didn't even play against Shanghai or Seoul in the Final Four!
@@juno4127 In other words, he wasn't exactly "cracked in Season 3." He was the third best DPS player, "both better than him" on his own damn team! At least in the second half of the season, that is.
@@ellaser93 yeah imean it doesnt matter how good you are, if there are players better than you on your team you arent playing over them unless its a special situation
Here’s a spicy take: twilight is the best flex support player of all time. In contenders he was monstrous on runaway, in season 2 he put an mvp runner up level performance on the table imo. In season 3 he put down a top 3 performance coming off the *bench*. In season 4, twilight in a horrible support situation still put down game as the arguable best player on that shock team. And of course, this season so far he’s been a star yet again, especially since he’s back to being a starter. He has an incredible hero pool, plays every flex support at a peak level, plays some of the best brig in the world and he even has a solid mercy to boot. One of the most underrated players of all time in my opinion.
I think historically you have to look at either like him, Jjonak, Violet, Izayaki pretty much are the only contenders for like "best flex support of all time". And I think the biggest argument can be made for Violet or Izayaki probably over him, but they're all really close IMO.
If a hypothetical episode 3 occurred then I would like to see what you think of yaki who’s always been stuck on dysfunctional teams ever since the debut
Thoughts on Dafran? Guy is an absolute menace on tracking heroes like Soldier and got to show a lot of that skill playing Zarya and who can forget his debut on Illios rolling out on Torb during goats and dominating. Never got to see him play actual dps but there was definitely potential for him to have been a top player in the league
For my money, the most underrated player in the League was Dridro. Dude came in mid-season as a panic pick-up for Paris in 2021, got Paris to win games *while playing on his phone data*, and was such an amazingly consistent main support, yet I see no one talk about this guy. Sure, this season Paris was struggling really badly, but to no fault of his own.
if you do do a part 3, i want to know what you think about on kai. havent heard much of his backstory but has been carrying atlanta so many times this year
Lmao, in the background games, the first thing I thought was "damn, the Hud with the players was really busy back then for some reason, ah, oh yeah, there was 6 players before"
I asked last time, but evermore!! the fact that there's still no 5000sr player is crazy (although we could talk a lot about the sixstacking with top tier OW Apex players late in the night to get masters games whilst them being the best at the time)
Sooooooooooooon! He was the player that made me a fan of the LA Valiant in 2018 with his cheeky payload back caps on tracer. He picked up the widow, and was great at it after stage 3 in 2018. He also split playtime on Paris Eternal in 2020 when they had xzi and sparkle and won 2 stage titles 💚💛
Diem and shy I feel like diem was super consistent but was always outshined and I think shy is just an absolute monster. 2 games b2b with a fleta deadlift if I remember and multiple games with 80+ railgun accuracy during the midseason madness is just insane
This could be an interesting one for part 3, what are your thoughts on Gwangboong, one of if not the most high potential hitscan dps player to have played for NYXL plagued by bad coaching, meta, and inflexibility being a hard hitscan + hanzo specialist, I want him back in the league and definitely my biggest overwatch league what if?.
Ivy. He was one of the best flex dps in the league and probably the best Mei in the world, but he is so underappreciated due to his dps duo Carpe, and even more underrated after season 4 with NYXL. This can also apply to Heesu.
Recently I think fleta has become underrated because everyone assumes he’s trashy now maybe that might just wot I see but about all I see is hate so not sure if that cause for underrated or just people being hateful because the first two stages were bad situations for Shanghai
The funny thing is, when they did put him in, in let's say stage 1 or 2, and they were swapping between him and Whoru, he owned on things like Echo and Reaper still. His Tracer looks maybe a little unpracticed the last time we saw it, but his other heroes have looked really good still. He even had a deadlift himself on Reaper in one of the first two stages. I would expect stage 4 to be a break out time for Fleta as he is integrated back into the main roster
I would love to hear your thoughts on Ga9a If you do a part 3. He was heralded as one of the best tanks coming out of contenders in season 4. And he was good. But has he truly lived up to the hype, or does he just have the advantage of being compared to the nightmare tank situation chengdu was dealing with before he was on the team? Does he truly bring elite gameplay or just stability?
If there's a part 3, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my old favorite player, ShaDowBurn. He had an extremely solid contenders run with FaZe, but once OWL hit and EQO was able to play, he just vanished into obscurity. Side note, I still think he's one of, if not the best dogfighting pharahs of all time.
even tho he came in late in the joats meta, i think speedily is incredibly underrated, hes only had 3 days of scrim on atlanta yet hes managed to still play at an elite level and has manage to beat london ???, the guys nuts man, but id like to hear ur thoughts on him
Jjonak got me into playing the aggro zenyatta. I look up to him but I know he can struggle, and there are better nowadays. I begged Coach Moon to sign him when NYXL started to crumble. Give him a great team again but then he decided to start a RUclips channel and take a break. I can't wait to see him return. And if, only if, Coach Moon will listen to my begging and sign him should be return, I would be ecstatic to see the return of the octopus king
Would love to see Viol2t, with his transition from flex support to main nowadays, I feel like he was talked about a lot in the past but now his Lucio goes a little bit unnoticed
You gotta do Gesture for part 3 half the community thinks he’s a legend or a feeder it’s very interesting he obviously pioneered Winston and Tracer dive and pushed it further after Miro winning in Apex, and Owl but he doesn’t get the respect in my opinion he deserves from his accomplishments and late career peak on hog in s3 that resulted in a crazy grand finals run he was always very clutch when it mattered.
i really hope theres a part 3, my request for it would be surefour, im a fan of his streams but never really saw much of him in the league specifically
Benbest was the quote on quote weakest link in the Paris eternal core, was a decent rein and orisa sadly didn't see him again in the league. He is one of my favourite players so I feel he is underrated but would be made with properly rated lol
If you plan on doing a part 3 you should take a look at aspire, I think he is way underrated for how well he plays. despite him being on a subbar team he always performs and carries on sojourn. The only thing that I think holds him back a bit is him having to be a meta slave and play sojourn so we cant exactly see his flexibility on other picks.
I'm going completely left field and ask about your opinion on mistakes. He was a bench player up until dreamkasper's departure and took on hitscan (and some projectile like junk) while stiker had to flex onto other heroes if he had too. They still did pretty well.
Carpe is the Jim Kelly of overwatch. One of the greatest players with no championships to show it Kelly was a Bills qb who took the bills to 4 straight super bowls in a row and lost everytime)
I'd like to know your opinion on Pokpo. I always thought he was a pretty underrated player, being a really flexible maintank player, able to play Rein, Winston, Orisa and Ball at a high level. Would have loved to see him in another team after getting released by Atlanta
I really think if Linkzr had proper coaches they could of fixed that inconsistency and he could of been one of the best. When he was feeling it he could go toe to toe with anybody.
Sorry if this one has been done already, I don't remember if it has or not but what are you thoughts on Sugarfree/Jiali? A guy seen as a prodigy but due to his age, never really got a shot at the overwatch league before he announced his retirement. Im curious on the thoughts for this one
If there is a part 3 i would like to know about OniGod. Hes been my favorite player for a long time because hes the best player from Norway. I feal he did an ok job at dallas and was ok at Paris, but what do you think?
Doha has to be one of the more underrated players. He is overshadowed by sparkle constantly, in the 2020 season he and decay were the best parts of that team (until crimzo)
Would love your opinion on Linkzr. In his prime his widow could hang with the best of them. Think people slightly underrate him cause he was inconsistent but really think that was the fault of how terrible the Houston Org and coaches were. So put him on a decent coached team and he could of been one of the greatest
Carpe has been mediocre for like 2 seasons and got benched by heesu in 2020. He isn’t underrated for finishing 2nd he just hasn’t been a top 10 dos player for a long time.
oh yeah, Lastro is one of the only Flex supports to look Main Support look good, and almost like it was their natural role I'd say at an OWL level. Is he perfect on everything? No, but he also owns nearly everyone on Brig, like his stats were through the roof if you looked at them, and his Lucio is even clean. And that's without going into his flex support side. I would say maybe going into the year I wasn't sure about him, I thought he was a pretty good flex support, nothing crazy, but he even proved me he could do better than I thought of him.
part 3 : you should talk abt sleep he was one of the consistent flex supports in the league but declined in season 2 because of the Washington Justice.
The character looks like she has a very high skill ceiling. I’m also a big fan of the fact that she seems very support oriented rather than a hero that frags too much.
@@ATPOverwatch One More Question, What about EQO? I feel like he was Talked about a lot in the first Season but as time went on, he just wasn’t as consistent until the Summer Showdown. Thoughts?
I would like to hear on your opinion on Tviq, because I remember watching the early world cups and he and Sweden did really well, and I always felt like he was performing well in the league too but it got overlooked because his team was not performing
Now that he’s back in the league I wanna know how you feel about neko him jjonak and bdosin were the 3 best zens in the first season and the only player I can remember from that defiant team
Saying Kaiser is a good Reinhardt is like saying Miro is good at Winston. Yes, Miro was good during the apex and world cup, but when it came down to OWL, other tank players already caught up and even went beyond. Kaiser was definitely good during his glory days, or at least it seemed that way, but likes of Mano was just better and more consistant.
Lowkey i feel like Fleta doesnt get enough support, people only think of lip but fleta could literally play anything. lowkey feel like he is kinda underrated.
I feel like there's a lot more interesting players that could be brought up, for example: Moth overrated, only performed on shock then disappeared Gamsu, one of the most consistent tanks and even claimed a stage title Choisehwan, a star dps on a poor GZC how good would he be on a better roster
So I think Sinatraa on DPS was great on Tracer, Doomfist and Sombra, kind of meh on everything else, but he was, and still is THE BEST Zarya to ever play the game, regardless of what your personal feelings about him are, go watch him play Zarya in any meta or year, and he is doing things that no other Zarya is out there doing
Choihyobin and SirMajed seem underrated in my opinion. Choi never let you down and SirMajed seems to be one of the most consistent Mayhem players next to Yaki in current OWL.
Don't know if this will even be considered for part 3 because its a coach not a player, but I'm interested in your opinion on Crusty. I'm a shock fan so I'm definitely biased and probably overrate him, but I definitely think he sometimes gets overshadowed by the great players that he was a huge part of making so great
I think...season 4 did show something. He does need other great minds to help him out. But there's no denying he's a good coach yeah. Like him and Moon are known as two of the greatest
Biggoose had 1 year where I’d consider to be solid but then largely fell off afterwards as the support position evolved and required more flexibility. And yes, Skewed is insane. Big fan of his work.
It’s weird how you describe bdosin as being talked about enough on London and say people rate him correctly, but then basically say the same about libero only to say that he got overshadowed and is underrrated. Bdosin wasn’t just overshadowed by London. He was overshadowed by Jjonak. But at times, bdosin had better stats on zen in season one. Bdosin was keeping up with Jjonak and it was never mentioned. He wasn’t in the mvp talks, people don’t talk about him when bringing up the aggressive flex supports. In that respect I think bdosin is underrated
I think birdring was underrated around s1 but I think he has actually been overrated recently honestly. I think its so confusing to me how carpe isn’t usually in peoples top 10 and birdring is top 5 😭. Carpe was better in season 1 and season 3, season 2 was goats so both weren’t that goos, s4 birdring was better but carpe is still going now. I was a London spitfire fan in season 1 by the way, then followed the players after they left the team. I love birdring and if anything id be biased for him, just don’t get the carpe disrespect because every time Philly gave London a fight in 2018, carpe outplayed birdring hard.
I don’t agree about carpe being better than birdring in season 3. Also philly was better than Gladiators as a whole, if carpe was in birdring’s place I don’t think he would do better. But it’s just my opinion they were both really good
@@v1nniacb452 Honestly that’s the only season I’m not confident about my opinion in birdring in because i don’t believe I watched most glads games, but like I recall carpe being much more relevant in important games and getting more hype, but yeah like even if birdring is still considered better than carpe which I understand, I still dont get how carpe has become soo low rated in the community. I kind of stepped out for the community for the second half of owl s3 and early owl s4 (I watched games in owl s4) and was surprised by how lowly rated carpe had become, like I was shocked plat chat didn’t even put him in the top 10 😭 Also I’d like to add that birdring was never really straight up the best hitscan in the league, carpe was undoubtedly the best in s1 and Ans was probably best in s3, ig lip best in s4
@@ashdude3058 Well i remember birdring’s ashe and widow were amazing, but I didn’t watch most of philly games besides summer showdown (which carpe played really well against xzi) and playoffs, so i’m kinda biased towards birdring. But i agree with you in terms of him being one of the best and he is surely underrated, I remember a match where he killed it with widow in early season 4, his tracer and mccree had always been nuts too, I don’t get why people rate him low. I’m not sure if he is a top 10 dps, but if we’re talking only about hitscan then he must be in. Also birdring was not the best with any specific hero, but he was really good with all snipers and hitscans, plus tracer. Overall, in my personal opinion, i think bidring’s better than carpe.
@@v1nniacb452 I think they are close, but yeah birdring taking it I don’t mind especially since he also made an apex final run with kongdoo before owl started. Carpe should definitely be close though like in those lists I was talking abt people put birdring 4th and then carpe like 12-13 or not in the top 15 at all 😭

If there is a part 3 i would like to know about OniGod. Hes been my favorite player for a long time because hes the best player from Norway. I feal he did an ok job at dallas and was ok at Paris, but what do you think?
Do you think Patiphan holds up to his hype or not. I would like your opinion since I haven't seen him play during the World Cup days.
Water the genji god
Best kiriko in the league prediction?
I think shu
Maybe fielder too
Hard to say! Curious to find out for sure though haha

I really want to know how you feel about Stratus. It seems like no one talks about him these days.
What are your thoughts about Shadowburn? It be interesting
Doha has to be one of the more underrated players. He is overshadowed by sparkle constantly, in the 2020 season he and decay were the best parts of that team (until crimzo)
Fits is underrated mainly overshadowed by profit and when comparing hitscans overshadowed by lip and ans
I can't believe he put carpe in part 2. Always 2nd 🤣😭
Opinions on Nero? I feel like even though he's shown to have great skills through his career, nobody talks about him
oh yeah, Lastro is one of the only Flex supports to look Main Support look good, and almost like it was their natural role I'd say at an OWL level.
Thoughts on Kiriko Atp? Curious on your Initial thoughts.
Thoughts?
For part 3 I wanna hear your thoughts on Anamo. He was the goat in 2018-19
I would like to hear on your opinion on Tviq, because I remember watching the early world cups and he and Sweden did really well, and I always felt like he was performing well in the league too but it got overlooked because his team was not performing
I want to know ur opinion about ShaDowBurn. In Russia he is known as the GOAT genji and pharrah. So what do you think?
Now that he’s back in the league I wanna know how you feel about neko him jjonak and bdosin were the 3 best zens in the first season and the only player I can remember from that defiant team
Love the videos
Saying Kaiser is a good Reinhardt is like saying Miro is good at Winston.
Yes, Miro was good during the apex and world cup, but when it came down to OWL, other tank players already caught up and even went beyond.
Kaiser was definitely good during his glory days, or at least it seemed that way, but likes of Mano was just better and more consistant.
pls do sbb he inspired me to play the game and i still watch his hghlights. also his leadership was outstanding.
Lowkey i feel like Fleta doesnt get enough support, people only think of lip but fleta could literally play anything. lowkey feel like he is kinda underrated.
I feel like there's a lot more interesting players that could be brought up, for example:
Moth overrated, only performed on shock then disappeared
Gamsu, one of the most consistent tanks and even claimed a stage title
Choisehwan, a star dps on a poor GZC how good would he be on a better roster
Overrated DPS: Agilities, Nero, Glister, Sinatraa, Seominsoo,
Overrated Flex Supports: Kaan, Big Goose/Shaz pairing,
Best tank that never made OWL: Zebagwinston
Underrated tanks: Hotba, Meko, Zunba,
Underrated non-OWL dps: Climax
Roster wastage: Arhan, Xepher
So I think Sinatraa on DPS was great on Tracer, Doomfist and Sombra, kind of meh on everything else, but he was, and still is THE BEST Zarya to ever play the game, regardless of what your personal feelings about him are, go watch him play Zarya in any meta or year, and he is doing things that no other Zarya is out there doing
Would love to see you rate feather from the nyxl. I loved watching him play for some reason.
Choihyobin and SirMajed seem underrated in my opinion. Choi never let you down and SirMajed seems to be one of the most consistent Mayhem players next to Yaki in current OWL.
Take what he said about Jjonak and apply it to Carpe. Jjnoak is properly rated, Carpe is overrated.
What about fate? He’s been on a million different teams and always seemed to be playing well. He even has a championship title.
Opinion on BigGoose, and if you would opinion on Skewed. I think Hes the best brig player in the league right now.
Biggoose had 1 year where I’d consider to be solid but then largely fell off afterwards as the support position evolved and required more flexibility. And yes, Skewed is insane. Big fan of his work.
Carpe hasn't been that guy for years. Especially this year.
Surefour underrated pls make part 3
Day 103 of telling ATP overwatch his videos are the best
Appreciate your dedication and support Preppy! Absolute legend!
In that respect I think bdosin is underrated
i still think diem was one of the most underrated hitscan players
Hey ATP Overwatch, popular content creator for the based game Overwatch.
Hello Mr. Mystery Dude, popular and legendary supporter.
@@ATPOverwatch how has your day been Mr. Overwatch? I will thank you for providing us content while the league is on a break.
I kind of stepped out for the community for the second half of owl s3 and early owl s4 (I watched games in owl s4) and was surprised by how lowly rated carpe had become, like I was shocked plat chat didn’t even put him in the top 10 😭
Also I’d like to add that birdring was never really straight up the best hitscan in the league, carpe was undoubtedly the best in s1 and Ans was probably best in s3, ig lip best in s4
