There's actually pictures of all of the members voting for her and them promoting her. Given WKS' statement about how they would make a decision by the end of February about Botopass and MTG's finale being in the end of February (like the video mentioned), it makes you think that they were deciding whether to disband the group or not depending on whether Mihee debuted or not. Mihee is easily Botopass' most popular member and if she was promoting with another group, there would be no reason for Botopass to continue. I'm guessing with the company's track record, the girls would want Mihee to debut so the group could disband and they could leave

As a person who have been bullied before, I can understand Minah's frustrations (I lost alot of weight as well when I was bullied). She just wanted justice/some kind of closure from those who are sorry to her. It's upsetting to see that the alleged bullies mentioning that they have never bullied her (as though they are just dismissing her) but it is hard to prove the bullying. If someone thinks that they are not wrong, what can you do about it. Also the rest of the original members are just bystanders who doesn't give a damn about her since it's not her fault.

Unlike Mina, the former member of AOA, Minah from I-LUV actually had proof of her mistreatment, whereas, Mina from AOA constantly relied on the storylines, which was tbh, believable at first, but then so much loopholes were made, that people started to figure out she was lying. Sure she may have suffered mentally but I think she took it way out of proportion, I hope Minah, former member of I-LUV, Mina and Jimin former members of AOA find their peace.

I think too many people forget that alot of groups are acting/taking on different personalities when facing the fans so to use official content as proof falls flat. While some idols genuinely bond with each other, at the end of the day they are coworkers who are putting on a persona to sell the group.
I don't see why Minah would lie about this, I can't tell who to believe, but the evidence does seem to add up. Speaking of which, I wish she'd just drop the evidence for us, I see no reason to hide it because that only made things escalate. As for Gahyun word of mouth is not something to trust at face value, but I don't see her owing anything to Minah so it could be true. Gahyun first defended Minah, but then turned on her? I don't know whether she got twisted by the people around her or not but that's confusing. I'm slightly more on Minahs side, but seeing through her course of events, she was for sure being very dramatic. And the voice message of her and the manager or whatever does prove some people knew of what was happening to her in ILove? Man this is giving me a headache. From the way of events right now, things seem to be going alright for both parties. So that's a win I guess?
A lot of people are saying BOTOPASS disbanded but not exactly. They're probably disbanded in the sense of I LUV's disbandment. The remaining 5 are still with WKS ENE and it seems the agency is reorganizing the team. They haven't stated if it'll be as BOTOPASS or not (which, I think it'd be best to start fresh) but, I'm definitely hoping the best for these girls, they've been through a lot.

I agree with the general consensus that Minah is probably exaggerating some facts with some truths in there. I’m sure there was some miscommunication at some point where she had a disagreement with the members and then they started fighting and she started weaponizing every single they did in the past like asking her to do aegyo. I say it happened at some point because Minah acknowledges herself that she got along with them until they started living together. Some of the claims sound so similar to Kwon Mina’s story though that I’m a little less inclined to believe.. especially since this happened after Kwon Mina was receiving much praise for coming out I’m sure this Minah expected a similar reaction. And then other claims she made just seem irrelevant to her being bullied and are so stereotypical that I feel she shared to promote public outrage against the members.. like mentioning the members smoke or have boyfriends or skipped a performance to go on vacation or went to the nightclub.. like even if those claims were true, we didn’t need to know that? I don’t see how that proves anything regarding her bullying claims but I digress. Regarding the one member who mentioned Minah did have some issues with members in the group but that she was not involved, she could have been referring to a scenario like i described earlier.. where some members did not get along and were forming cliques/ arguing. I hope Minah finds peace in the new career she’s pursuing bc no matter what the reality was, it’s clear she’s struggling with some issues .. which go far back to her childhood trauma of some sort? Last comment would be that the agency seems unprofessional and novice.

First of all, I just hope that nobody was actually bullied. But regardless of of anyone was or not, both sides have clearly been negatively affected by this situation and have received way more hatred online than they deserve or would have if the matter had remained private. Secondly, another story about a former idol named “Mina(h)” with bullying claims? Seriously? Ugh! After the last one, I’m not surprised that people are a lot more skeptical of Minah’s accusations given the similarities in both stories. Finally, just because the police said that they couldn’t find enough proof that Minah was lying, doesn’t automatically mean that they were able to find enough evidence that she was telling the truth either. Just some food for thought.
i would love you to cover the group 14u. i was a big fan of them, but they were involved in scandals since their debut with people claiming they were copying seventeen’s concept and other harmful rumors. and the reason for their disbandment was really strange and unclear especially since a couple of months before they disbanded they added a new member to replace one who left. he never got to debut.

I 100% that Mina was abused or bullied in some way that led to a mental breakdown. This line from her statement “I almost died and now I’m not afraid of anything.” Is powerful AF and something common to many abuse victims who go public, feeling so beaten down and ignored and almost killed, but then they have the opportunity to make themselves heard and they go nuclear on this adrenaline high of no fear, no caring, just rage at their victimization and the will to make sure it never happens to anyone else again. As a survivor my heart hurts for and the innocent girls in Botopass who didn’t deserve this scandal ruining their careers

While I always try to listen to people that claim to be the victims of abuse, in this case it's really dificult, since Minah never gave clear proof. She only talked about how bad she felt but didn't give any evidence. I feel conflicted. The fact that she also said that she felt similarly to Mina of AOA is also quite ironic after all that happened.
I feel like the truth could be somewhere in between, but overall I believe and feel bad for Minah and I hope she's doing well. It may have been a cumulative effect of smaller things adding up to make her feel really bad, and the fact another member confirmed the bullying makes me question what was happening. I think the company handled it very badly and made themselves and the other members look worse. The fact they seemed to use Minah's mental health as a way to question what she was saying and imply that means her statements can't be trusted (that's how I interpreted it anyway) rubbed me the wrong way because I feel like it's common for people with mental health problems to be treated like that. That being said hate should never be sent to anyone, including the members accused of being the bullies. You don't have to support them directly but bullying them back will always be wrong and never justified

For those who jump to conclusion that all members of botopass participated in the bullying, i just wanted to clarify that it’s not the case. Mihee and the others who are either not living in the dorm where Mina lives and not ex Iluv members are not bullies. They are innocent.
I don't doubt how she's feeling, but there's no real proof that these members harassed her. I think she definitely has some personal issues that may make her a very sensitive person. Some of her claims are just bizarre, and it seems like this whole thing is blown way out of proportion. It's sad that a promising group can be snuffed out over essentially nothing.
In Gahyun’s first statement she said what Mina said was true then she backtracked and said that she was lying. So idk it seems like it did happen but maybe Gahyun didn't want to get hate so she backtracked. I don't think Gahyun bullied Mina but maybe she was a bystander and didn't stop it so Mina considered her a bully. Because Gahyun said she didn't participate in the bullying.
The "proof" argument is pointless, because it's quite difficult too "proof" bullying, because the bully will always say "I didn't do anything wrong" and often you don't have any witnesses. I mean what can you do against a person who seriously believes he/she did everything right, while this person was actually bullying/harming you. Why do you think does bullying happen, frequently without any consequences for the bully. Wether or not someone got bullied in this case, no one deserves hate comments. And i guess for Minah to lie doesn't really make sense, cause through the public exposure, she's receiving a lot of hate.

I was bullied badly but it was always behind the scenes, so of course I didn’t have any proof except for some scars that the teachers and other parents of the bullies could’ve easily said I got from something else or did myself. My only saving grace is that a janitor lady was my witness in once when they tried to throw me down the stairs and I dragged them down with me, that’s the Only reason my mom didn’t sue the entire school and the Asshole’s parents to oblivion. They were forced to move schools of course, but I understand the no evidence part even though it’s extremely infuriating from a first hand victims perspective.

Unlike Mina, the former member of AOA, Minah from I-LUV actually had proof of her mistreatment, whereas, Mina from AOA constantly relied on the storylines, which was tbh, believable at first, but then so much loopholes were made, that people started to figure out she was lying. Sure she may have suffered mentally but I think she took it way out of proportion, I hope Minah, former member of I-LUV, Mina and Jimin former members of AOA find their peace.

Theres something going on at her part. I just cant 100% believe her. The fact that she said when her roommate thought she was cute and wanted her to keep making aego, she felt that was harrassing. This feels something a teenager would say. She mightve hated it and felt uncomfortable, but it doesnt mean the other one was doing it with malicious intent or that it really is considered as "bullying". I feel like there are two sides, two standpoints, two intents and takes on what happened.. i didnt watch the entire video, maybe 70% of it so i wont say she is lying about it ether. To me it just seemed like something was going on and if the company, as adults, wouldve gotten involved in time, all of this couldve been resolved before it got to this point. Mentalhealth is never a topic to be taken lightly..
despite her not being in botopass, i feel like its important to also mention former iluv member jihos whereabouts just in case people dont want to suppot her accidentally. jiho is currently using the name do hayoon (?) and is a model and youtuber under aftermoon entertainment, as well as technically a member of wegirls as confirmed by an instagram post made by the company awhile back

I think too many people forget that alot of groups are acting/taking on different personalities when facing the fans so to use official content as proof falls flat. While some idols genuinely bond with each other, at the end of the day they are coworkers who are putting on a persona to sell the group.
I don't see why Minah would lie about this, I can't tell who to believe, but the evidence does seem to add up. Speaking of which, I wish she'd just drop the evidence for us, I see no reason to hide it because that only made things escalate. As for Gahyun word of mouth is not something to trust at face value, but I don't see her owing anything to Minah so it could be true. Gahyun first defended Minah, but then turned on her? I don't know whether she got twisted by the people around her or not but that's confusing.
I'm slightly more on Minahs side, but seeing through her course of events, she was for sure being very dramatic. She was making baseless accusations and saying she had proof without showing any of it, she was excessively using ... while texting the fan, and she was repeating her disorders like she just learned those 3 terms recently. But again her disorders and her sewer slide attempt can't be dismissed. At this point, idk how to judge this, but the only thing I feel is Minah handled this very suspiciously and even so that doesn't make her wrong. And the voice message of her and the manager or whatever does prove some people knew of what was happening to her in ILove?
Man this is giving me a headache. From the way of events right now, things seem to be going alright for both parties. So that's a win I guess?

A lot of people are saying BOTOPASS disbanded but not exactly. They're probably disbanded in the sense of I LUV's disbandment. The remaining 5 are still with WKS ENE and it seems the agency is reorganizing the team. They haven't stated if it'll be as BOTOPASS or not (which, I think it'd be best to start fresh) but, I'm definitely hoping the best for these girls, they've been through a lot.

Watching this over 2 years later, I feel bad for Minah (if the bullying truly took place) but also all the (or most of the?) Botopass members whose careers went nowhere for something they didn't even do :/ I hope they found something that makes them happy since then.

There was a lawsuit between Minah and the company over the bullying allegations and Minah WON the lawsuit, meaning there WAS evidence of bullying but maybe it wasn’t shared publicly

I became interested in the group in 2020 because there was a rumour that ex-Cherry Bullet member Kokoro was going to be in the lineup. But once I heard the allegations, I simply couldn't stan anymore

I agree with the general consensus that Minah is probably exaggerating some facts with some truths in there. I’m sure there was some miscommunication at some point where she had a disagreement with the members and then they started fighting and she started weaponizing every single they did in the past like asking her to do aegyo. I say it happened at some point because Minah acknowledges herself that she got along with them until they started living together. Some of the claims sound so similar to Kwon Mina’s story though that I’m a little less inclined to believe.. especially since this happened after Kwon Mina was receiving much praise for coming out I’m sure this Minah expected a similar reaction. And then other claims she made just seem irrelevant to her being bullied and are so stereotypical that I feel she shared to promote public outrage against the members.. like mentioning the members smoke or have boyfriends or skipped a performance to go on vacation or went to the nightclub.. like even if those claims were true, we didn’t need to know that? I don’t see how that proves anything regarding her bullying claims but I digress. Regarding the one member who mentioned Minah did have some issues with members in the group but that she was not involved, she could have been referring to a scenario like i described earlier.. where some members did not get along and were forming cliques/ arguing. I hope Minah finds peace in the new career she’s pursuing bc no matter what the reality was, it’s clear she’s struggling with some issues .. which go far back to her childhood trauma of some sort?
Last comment would be that the agency seems unprofessional and novice.
And the fact on how she even kept mentioning buzz words and flaking like she is manipulative of the situation. Well she got what she wanted In The end the group has yet to come back

i think when gahyun said "it's true", she meant it as "it's true that i'm innocent"
First of all, I just hope that nobody was actually bullied. But regardless of of anyone was or not, both sides have clearly been negatively affected by this situation and have received way more hatred online than they deserve or would have if the matter had remained private.
Secondly, another story about a former idol named “Mina(h)” with bullying claims? Seriously? Ugh! After the last one, I’m not surprised that people are a lot more skeptical of Minah’s accusations given the similarities in both stories.
Finally, just because the police said that they couldn’t find enough proof that Minah was lying, doesn’t automatically mean that they were able to find enough evidence that she was telling the truth either. Just some food for thought.
Maybe she thought just them arguing saying some hurtful things like most people would was bullying and they took that as evidence?
i would love you to cover the group 14u. i was a big fan of them, but they were involved in scandals since their debut with people claiming they were copying seventeen’s concept and other harmful rumors. and the reason for their disbandment was really strange and unclear especially since a couple of months before they disbanded they added a new member to replace one who left. he never got to debut.

I 100% that Mina was abused or bullied in some way that led to a mental breakdown. This line from her statement “I almost died and now I’m not afraid of anything.” Is powerful AF and something common to many abuse victims who go public, feeling so beaten down and ignored and almost killed, but then they have the opportunity to make themselves heard and they go nuclear on this adrenaline high of no fear, no caring, just rage at their victimization and the will to make sure it never happens to anyone else again. As a survivor my heart hurts

While I always try to listen to people that claim to be the victims of abuse, in this case it's really dificult, since Minah never gave clear proof. She only talked about how bad she felt but didn't give any evidence. I feel conflicted. The fact that she also said that she felt similarly to Mina of AOA is also quite ironic after all that happened.
I understand being conflicted but when other members confirm what happened and there is audio and video clips, it seems pretty clear cut to me
I feel like the truth could be somewhere in between, but overall I believe and feel bad for Minah and I hope she's doing well. It may have been a cumulative effect of smaller things adding up to make her feel really bad, and the fact another member confirmed the bullying makes me question what was happening. I think the company handled it very badly and made themselves and the other members look worse. The fact they seemed to use Minah's mental health as a way to question what she was saying and imply that means her statements can't be trusted (that's how I interpreted it anyway) rubbed me the wrong way because I feel like it's common for people with mental health problems to be treated like that. That being said hate should never be sent to anyone, including the members accused of being the bullies. You don't have to support them directly but bullying them back will always be wrong and never justified

I don't doubt how she's feeling, but there's no real proof that these members harassed her. I think she definitely has some personal issues that may make her a very sensitive person.
Some of her claims are just bizarre, and it seems like this whole thing is blown way out of proportion. It's sad that a promising group can be snuffed out over essentially nothing.
In Gahyun’s first statement she said what Mina said was true then she backtracked and said that she was lying. So idk it seems like it did happen but maybe Gahyun didn't want to get hate so she backtracked. I don't think Gahyun bullied Mina but maybe she was a bystander and didn't stop it so Mina considered her a bully. Because Gahyun said she didn't participate in the bullying.
The "proof" argument is pointless, because it's quite difficult too "proof" bullying, because the bully will always say "I didn't do anything wrong" and often you don't have any witnesses. I mean what can you do against a person who seriously believes he/she did everything right, while this person was actually bullying/harming you. Why do you think does bullying happen, frequently without any consequences for the bully. Wether or not someone got bullied in this case, no one deserves hate comments. And i guess for Minah to lie doesn't really make sense, cause through the public exposure, she's receiving a lot of hate.

I was bullied badly but it was always behind the scenes, so of course I didn’t have any proof except for some scars that the teachers and other parents of the bullies could’ve easily said I got from something else or did myself.
My only saving grace is that a janitor lady was my witness in once when they tried to throw me down the stairs and I dragged them down with me, that’s the Only reason my mom didn’t sue the entire school and the Asshole’s parents to oblivion. They were forced to move schools of course, but I understand the no evidence part even though it’s extremely infuriating from a first hand victims perspective.
