I’m confused…being new to chess doesn’t “mate in 9 “ mean you checkmate your opponent in 9 moves ? Or do you start counting from some other point in the game?
It means if you both play the best moves you will checkmate him in 9. It can take longer if you make mistakes, and it can be in fewer than 9 if your opponent makes mistakes.
In this game C. Yoo made 3 blunders, 1 innaccuracy and 1 mistake for 78% accuracy rating. Hans made 2 innaccuracies and 1 mistake for 91% accuracy with 25 centipawn loss. Hardly Alphazero here butthat doesn't fit the narrative.

Of course no action should be taken until definitive proof is available, but why some people are desperately trying to believe is beyond my comprehension.
At 5:36, why not knight f5 to e7 #?
Just sac the queen.
Qxe7 Qxe7 (or Rxe7 doesn't matter) Rxg2 Kf2 Rxh2 and how are you stopping mate?
Hans Niemann's Saga more like Hans Niemann's exposure
Isn't it time to put a Niemann photo somewhere on the channel's picture? 😅 The saga surely already started
It's games like these that makes me love chess so much. Black plays doesn't even play first so is always playing catch-up, pieces have pros and cons and overall determines the outcome of success, every decision reflects another part Of you and success or failure is dependent only on yoo ( LOL).
Back then, I preferred to play as black, because I like to play defensive and observes what my opponent wants to do, then counterattack accordingly, but after I play online and many top players prefer white with the reason of having the attacking initiative, now I play a completely different playstyle 🤷 I still think that I'd prefer black slightly, though... 🤔🤷
Wait we got hans saga before that of Karpov?
Christopher helped hans A LOT to create this brilliancy
Exactly. This is legit
Um. Not necessarily. GMs make mistakes all the time and their opponent is not always able to capitalize. Spotting the ways to punish Christopher's mistakes in this game was not at all easy. Hans is statistically the best player in history over the last two years, and a known cheater, but just because his opponents play suboptimal, you think he's legit. I got news for you, even super GMs almost never play 100% accuracy, so just because there were mistakes doesn't mean Hans is legit. That's devoid of logic.
@@donquixote8462 the analysis you are referring is from Yosha, and it is quickly discredited by Dr. Ken Regan, the leading anti-cheating expert in chess and consulted by FIDE. One thing to note is that, according to Yosha, Niemann has several 100% games with engine correlation. But one of more of these games, Niemann LOST. How can you lose playing 100% engine top moves? Meaning her statistics is all plain wrong.
@@donquixote8462 "Hans is statistically the best player in history over the last two years". this is a lie. stop spreading lies
@@malibunights7108 did you know that Niemann played all those top engine moves with basically no time spent? Also did you know that Niemann has the highest accuracy of any player that ever existed in 5 tournaments in a row? Both ACCURACY and engine correlation.
"Hans Niemann saga". 😀 Glad to hear you made it official. 🤪
Hans is the best black pieces player since Stockfish v16.4
I like it. Not accusing or anything of the sort just straight up enjoying the drama like we all should. Because at the end of the day if they don’t have any proof of cheating Hans is just a monster.😂😂😂
He’s so good. Great job to his coach!
🤣🤣🤣
Recently, I sent another #suggestion
1 - about tan zhongyi Vs the women's blitz champ bibisara in the FIDE women's grand prix. There's an 8-move endgame puzzle with a rook sac there that was found. It's insane.
2 - Hopefully this or my other suggestion about the 12-move #9LX puzzle in the Anish Giri Vs Eric Hansen game will be the topic of a video in the near future.
3 - Or maybe Anish Giri Vs the world rapid champion Nodirbek in the Offerspill final #9LX I've yet to send agad a #suggestion e-mail on this since it ended just recently.
But eh it's just gonna be more Hans and Magnus right?
☝️Congrats You won,
Thanks for the comment
hit me up on...☝️🎀🎈,,
I mean...
Why is this being covered instead of the 12-move equality #9LX puzzle that Anish Giri missed against Eric Hansen in the #FischerRandomWC quarter finals offerspill? #suggestion - I already e-mailed agad and gotham about it. Huhuhuhu. Well at least the puzzle is in r/chess960 and in my videos.
Or if not 9LX, then how about my other #suggestion about tan zhongyi Vs the women's blitz champ bibisara in the FIDE women's grand prix? There's an 8-move endgame puzzle with a rook sac there that was found. It's insane.

Cheating or not cheating, if Bobby Fischer were still alive, Hans Niemann would be his favorite up and coming player. D captures on E4 is one of the reasons why (at 3:38).
I am a simple guy, I read Niemann and I click
I’m enjoying the Niemann saga. Agadmator gives Morphy heads to players who play great tactical combinations. Maybe he should give Niemann heads to players who make
engine like combinations lol.
Wasn’t even engine like.

Maybe a fishHead, KomodoHead, maybe AlphaHead, but a Morphy Head? That would make our dear Paul start shakimg on his grave
5:39 Why not knight e7 check to pickup rook?
Yes, same here.
Just sac the queen, put both rooks on the 2nd rank and you cannot lose that game.
So... Hans moved his king to avoid a back rank check and possible mate in the midst of a mate-in-9 sequence? That's very, very, very impressive.
Lol that move had me floored too, but at some depth stockfish agrees that Hans really is that good! Rh5 was actually even better but would have looked a little sus....
Remember when Kasparov sacked a piece against Karpov in 1990 and took time out in the middle of the attack to play Kh2?
@@Musicrafter12 was obviously cheating and had stockfish help.
Should do a video on dirtiest or most beautiful mates. Since we don’t see many mate videos
Why I suddenly feel Hans is playing very nicely in every game🤔
Well he is cherry picking games where Hans wins so that would be expected.
He lost lots of matches too. As mentioned selected games.
so this channel has suddenly become Hans Niemann channel, I'll be staying away for a month or so...
Stockfish speaks for itself!
Is it your subtle way to take sides, that you start showing nice games from Niemann?
No, agadmator, Yoo made three mistakes! Why the hell didn't he develop his b1 knight?
Agadmator why you dont have ads on your videos? You can make money in the past you had but nowdays there is no ad
at this point i truly hope he isnt cheating which would mean he is the greatest chess player of all time while only being 19
I’m confused…being new to chess doesn’t “mate in 9 “ mean you checkmate your opponent in 9 moves ? Or do you start counting from some other point in the game?
It means if you both play the best moves you will checkmate him in 9. It can take longer if you make mistakes, and it can be in fewer than 9 if your opponent makes mistakes.
19. ... Kb7, wow, I had to let Stockfish work for a while here, but it is another top choice at high depth... Inhumane play by Niemann again!
The purpose of this move to me seems to be avoiding a forced queen trade/fork later in the combination, insane.
His stockfish instantly worked though. Are you on dos?
@@piflah exactly, this is tiring to see 3 digits players finding "inhumane" the idea of not letting your queen and king on the same diagonal.
Hans is so good he wins the game so easy almost as if he is a compuer programme
Kb7 seems such a typical engine move if you ask me.
Appreciation to Agadmator for keeping a level head and not participating in the drama
The video titles look neutral to you?
Why is your video becoming a bit blurred afeter a few seconds (for example, the text by Capablanca as well as the chess board and pieces). This also happens for your other videos.
Hans getting all the love now! Magnus made Hans a household name, love it.

Even Daniel naroditsky getting on the love trian!.
👍
Yeah just wait until the X-ray machines are implemented and his rating drops to sub 2600 and he loses every games. I always come back to the comments and find you idiots. It's coming so get ready for the trash talking cause its going to be epic.
This guy is already a legend... i wouldn't be shocked if this whole story is staged to give chess publicity... he is giving chess a new perspective that somebody can suddenly come from nothing to the top and steal the scene like a mad genius...
