from Touhou 19 "東方獣王園 〜 Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost".
ZUN could've just said that this is a story mode theme. It'd make much more sense. This doesnt have to be Reimu's theme, but eh whatever.

Well I dont agree to that but at least the little bosses' sprites in this game are real adorable I have to admit. Especially Aunn's and Marisa's.

I wonder if this song's title is somehow a reference to how the whole world of touhou essentially stemmed from a cute lil pc98 anime shrine maiden. Reimu has really come a long way and I feel this theme portrays that well

Reimu & co on their way to slam some youkai because it hasn't rained for more than a day.
He did have a bit of help from Alphes back in PoFV, so ZUN outsourcing the boss sprites is moreso following tradition for Phantasmagoria games at this point.
Honestly, this track is kinda sick. It's so simple, but it really has that bounce to it that makes it stand out, and the little flairs from UM that I already loved in that game.
Personally, I love this song. Because… Reimu herself is made in an adorable way, a cute song for a cute shrine maiden. 😊❤

Why is everyone wanting/expecting this to be a stage theme rather than Reimu's theme? It's lovely and i think Reimu deserves a bouncy upbeat theme.
Which is hilarious because the title theme and the "waiting battle theme" are VERY ominous, like one of the darkest pieces of ZUN. He sure loves to play on contrasts.
Personally, this just sounds like a left over from Touhou 18.5.
I really doubt ZUN'd give someone as a important as Reimu a song that doesn't reflect her in any way. Yes, it's composed well. Yes, I also doubt ZUN will want to make this many new songs for a Vs Game. Also people will always complain and prefer Maiden's Cappriccio or Spring Lane and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

I suppose it reflects her carefree nature! I do think it fits, or at least one of her many different aspects. Anyways, reimu has many themes and stage themes, far more than you would think.

ZUN's art has improved tremendously these past few years, even though the outsorced boss sprites are still better
the only issue nowadays is that he still has trouble with head shapes
I'm not entirely sure if the theme is exclusively raymoo's as it seems several boss fights have the same battle theme iirc... though I haven't seen enough of the demo to come up with a conclusion to that

We never really had a "semi-generic" themes and this is one of them.

i think it's a funny coincidence that all the Phantasmagoria incidents so far all have spirits/ghosts playing a major part of them, whether its directly mentioned in the story, or they're just the most common enemy.
even though the title of this game doesn't directly have 'Phantasmagoria' in it, the 'Unfinished Dream' part is close enough to it. Could call it Phantasmagoria of All Living Ghost and it would still fit I think

People are complaining about this now? I think this music fits Reimu's personality(?), the rest of her theme suits her fighting style, mood, etc. Yall got to snap back to reality, don't use the damn fandom wiki. Use the official one.
Also let's know that Reimu's personality is not a youkai killing machine ffs.
Also 2x the stage is some leftover from HBM unused assets. It sorta *fits* her but doesn't carry the same feeling as the themes she had before.

Both Reimu and Marisa's themes are considered semi-generic. It makes sense because they are constant characters for the series overall.
Considering Eastern Mystic Love Consultation is mid, I'm glad Reimu has a more cheery and upbeat theme that's actually good.

It feels like there's something missing from the track? I can't pinpoint it exactly.
This is by far the best song in the demo, so good that it may end up being the best in the final version too. It's a shame it ended up being used on someone who it doesn't fit very well.
What’s the script/character-set in the second half of the description? I don’t recognize it
Definitively better than Spring Lane, but 'worse' when compared to Reimu's other themes.
O find it a bit funny since spring lane is my favourite theme of hers. Then this one, then her TH 8 one.

@@HaruTH Jup, I tried it a while ago. But the enemies do indeed have a little too much hp. But there's definitely something here. Lets hope he fixes the problems in the full release.

I'm not musician, but this theme really sucks. This song would be another bland stage theme if not the wrong use of instruments on 1:31, it's literal cacophony. Just in case, I really liked the light and fresh feel of Marketeers' soundtrack, even the composition was really decent. But since the black market themes have become gradually worse.
