My grandparents worked for the US Government and were stationed throughout Europe in the 1950s. While stationed somewhere there, my mom told me she used to play with Debra Tate (sister to Sharon), as little girls, maybe 4-6 years old. She remembered vividly seeing Sharon a time or two, and as a little girl was star struck by how beautiful she was. My mom had rather strong opinions about Manson, as you can imagine.
May Sharon Tate, her unborn child, and the other souls who were robbed of their lives finally rest in peace, knowing that the orchestrator of their murders has finally departed this mortal coil.
One thing to think about, and I’m not pro-Manson by any means. Sharon Tate’s unborn child was innocent, but can we just remember that her husband/baby’s father was a pedophile and probably still is? The group at the Tate house were partying pretty hard that night as well. I don’t think they would have opened the door to these killers if they had not been allowing people to come and go from the house, particularly people who they didn’t know well. Friends of friends, etc. They certainly weren’t hosting a church social now were they? Did they deserve to be killed? Absolutely NOT!
Yea, it seems unfair that he got to die in a place called Mercy Hospital. He should have died in a place called Your Last Memory Is A Living Nightmare.
If you watch one of the documentaries on Sharon Tate, and there are a few, her mother reported that when they brought Sharon's coffin out of the chapel where her funeral was held, she reported that she clearly heard Sharon Tate say, "Mother, that is not me in there". The grisly tale of her murder has reached a fever pitch and is permanently part of the Manson murder lore, Sharon would have turned 80 in 2023.
What I find crazy is that the Manson group had to pass my house hundreds of times when I was younger. Living a mile from the Murphy ranch makes me think about all the times I saw long haired hippy dudes and chicks always walking the road as I sat on the porch. Crazy
All I know by looking at the Death Certificate is, as of 11/19/2017, the people didn't have to support his ass in prison anymore. Cardiac arrest, respiratory failure and metastatic colon cancer were too good for Manson. He didn't suffer half as much as the victims of the murders he orchestrated. The mere fact that people wanted his ashes imbeded into their faces is a whole other story ! Manson is not someone that ever did good on this earth, or for his fellow man. It's too bad those he had killed in 1969 never got to live out their lives. Including Sharon Tate's unborn son that would have been 53 years old if he had been allowed to be born. No tears shed here for Manson.....by the way Manson did not deserve any respect for what he did. Someone once said, " Don't say anything BAD about the dead only GOOD. So.........Charles Manson is dead. GOOD !
Hopefully I will get to the USA one day and see some of this beautiful scenery. Another interesting and informative video, thank you Scott - Susan (Aussie Death Hag) xx
Being Manson’s buddy is quite an achievement! We should all take notice of Scott’s friend. And hope at some point (if we really apply ourselves), that we could possibly reach as lofty a goal as this fine, fine gentlemen has.
"People are kind of you are kind to them". I think that was the problem in Charlie's life because he had a horrible mother. Her unkindness set him down the wrong path, and many had to pay the price for it. I don't agree with the bad things he had done in his life, but I feel so bad for the little boy Charlie. He had so much potential, and he was very smart. He could've done so much good in life, but his bad childhood helped send him down the wrong path.
@Amelia, this is crap, seriously, yes, he had a bad upbringing, but lots of people did and do, and don’t end up murdering innocent people they never even met. He was a narcissistic sociopath, he wasn’t stupid. He was very smart and manipulative.
Manson has a son that he never acknowledged. He did an interview a couple years ago were he told of the drug addiction and suffering as a result. Anything left or decision should first include or be made by him
I have read everything out there about Manson et al. Watched interviews- and what I came away with was people are always going to be fascinated with what they don’t understand. And there is no way to understand. We will never know why, what, or how. There was some trajectory that brought out the horror living in some people. As he said himself “no sense makes sense”. I am not deifying him. But they had to do something with the remains.
IF you had to pay for the crimes you commit in the ever after life then there would be little rest for him and his despicable so called family members.
You all need to get out more often and see nature. Lol What is strange about a water snake getting on a nice warm boulder to sun himself? I don't like them but they won't hurt you. Now if a rattler had come out then grown to monster size, then I would have been freaked out.
Could his ashes be in west virginia ? I know for a fact he loved it here. I live 20 miles from where Charlie spent his younger years in mcmechan west virginia. Charlie wrote to the warden at moundsville west virginia state pen wanting to be transferred from Corcoran to moundsville. The letter is still at the moundsville state pen that is no more than a tourist attraction. Anyway the warden at the time rejected the letter, denying Charlie from being transferred.
I kind of said a little bit in a reply below, & I think it's admirable that the friend wanted to honor his friend's last wishes in death & I can appreciate his loyalty... Simple human decency & respect. But it was Manson & he wasn't human. He deserved none of it. And I watched that documentary. I feel like the grandson took what little good could come out of the man's existence. If it helped his life, bills or something, getting $$ from it, good. His father, Manson's son, struggled & was haunted by the fact of who his father was & took his own life in the end, robbing his son of a father as well. And I'm not saying he was some innocent person, obviously mental illness was involved, but living with the face you look at everyday in the mirror was part of that psycho killer it would eff me up as well. I can't imagine how hard it might've been. Your friend is honorable, but Charlie deserved none of it. I hope it helped the grandson a little bit.
I believe that the services and grave sites are for the living relatives. I lived in both Bakersfield and Porterville and I was born in the 60's, so this peaked my interest. And from what I have learned about this families tragedies Mason's Grandson surly deserves to be able to greave in peace like everyone else.
Mason at the end was given far more dignity than any of his victims. And if anyone drown or accidentally died there it would be said it occurred by the hands of manson.
Jason Freeman, Manson's grandson, eventually got his body having said he would cremate and spread the ashes of the man who inspired his followers to kill seven people. they were scattered on Jan 27, 2021
Another great video Scott That is a nice final resting place. And that was very interesting about the snake on the rock. When Bill and I went to spawn Ranch, one time we were coming up from the Manson cave and we encountered a rattlesnake coiled and hissing. Thankfully, Bill saw it first. There was no way to get around it. so we backtracked a bit, and threw a few big rocks to scare it away. I wonder with members of the family running around barefoot, and in the dark how many of them were bitten by snakes over other creatures. And I haven’t been back to Spahn Ranch/Manson’s rock in a few years. I wonder if the church across the street has totally destroyed all traces by now?
I lived in Porterville at that time. This mortuary was the only one that would do the cremation from what I understand. That mortuary used to be a church and they converted it into a chapel/mortuary.
Manson was an evil, sick, and twisted monster! Not only did he destroy the lives of his victims and their families, but also the lives of his followers! Evil does exist in the world...Manson is proof! Anyone who would call him friend needs serious therapy. I hope the real location of his remains are never revealed, because he will continue to be a magnet to the weak minded.
It might be just me but who would really admit to anyone that you were a friend of Charles Manson?

@@dennydeckerful Thank you i was waiting to see if anyone was going to say that. I watched that whole funeral thing. The only normal person was his grandson and his wife. All those other freaks were just strange. He was scattered or the rest of him was put into the ocean, the grandson is entitled to his estate its his family.
@@nikkiheslen7154 100% agree.
@@comet1227 yes.
Great video Scott. Your videos are always entertaining and very informative. Keep up the great content.
Great detailed video Scott very intriguing. Kinda feels sour though when you say Michael & "his friend" 🙄 Michael & "the monster" is more fitting. What a polite funeral director seemed like such a kind person.
I find it disgusting his brother sold pieces of his shroud & ashes for profit. What kind of 'loved one' does that?
He didn't care what happened to his victims or their bodies after death. So why care what happened to his.
The countryside looks very peaceful, love the waterfall, thank you Scott for a great video
Were Sharon Tate and Co. treated with a degree of respect?
No one forced Tex and the rest to kill them. They could have walked away.
@@lisag18 Sure, but they wouldn't have gone over there to begin with, if CM hadn't instructed Tex to go.
@@lemonhead162 Their own collective will could've outweighed what they were 'instructed' to do. If you told me and a couple friends to jump off a bridge, and we did so, who's really responsible? It's not as if they had guns to their heads
I saw a CNN article which said both Michael and Michael Bruner were invited to the funeral service but both chose not to attend. Of course this was from a Jason Freeman angle!!
Ps ❤ to his victim's. God bless Sharon and them all.
He came back as a snake. 🐍 That figures. 😅
Oh and if you think calling Charlie a friend is something to be proud of,wake up he's a murderer
He was actually a cult leader
He never actually killed himself he got his followers to do it for him
Nothing bizarre or unusual about a water snake being found in or around a body of water...it's where they live...& they aren't especially shy creatures, so there's not really anything unusual about them coming out of the water near where people are either...it was just living life & doing what it does...cool video & nice looking area...🖖🏿😎👍🏿
You always make my day better.
Fascinating this, Scott, many thanks!
He deserved NO respect….what respect did he give his victims???…seriously!!😡
Manson didnt have any victims
What the hell kind of estate could manson have
Arent you considered legally dead when you get sent to prison
That looks like the river where Jim Morrison was wading in while filming HWY
"People are kind of you are kind to them". I think that was the problem in Charlie's life because he had a horrible mother. Her unkindness set him down the wrong path, and many had to pay the price for it. I don't agree with the bad things he had done in his life, but I feel so bad for the little boy Charlie. He had so much potential, and he was very smart. He could've done so much good in life, but his bad childhood helped send him down the wrong path.
I had a horrible mother and I became a nurse.
Makes one wonder what her parents were like. Cycles repeat.
@@catherinetelesco2767 Ooooh thanks for that ❤️😂☝️
@Amelia, this is crap, seriously, yes, he had a bad upbringing, but lots of people did and do, and don’t end up murdering innocent people they never even met. He was a narcissistic sociopath, he wasn’t stupid. He was very smart and manipulative.
@@tammymcc-n7652 you are correct ! And.... he was a pedophile ☝️ everyone knew
What kind of person would admit to being a friend of a freak like Charles Manson?? And, want it to be publicized??
Manson has a son that he never acknowledged. He did an interview a couple years ago were he told of the drug addiction and suffering as a result. Anything left or decision should first include or be made by him
Yes Matt is his name. He has a RUclips channel - One Man's Son.
He didn’t deserve a peaceful resting place…
Thanks for this, Scott. Interesting, as always.
Great video Scott, Michael Channels always informative ,and running into to nice people, to make a great one.📽🍿👍🏻
Really interesting journey. Thanks for taking us along. Beautiful destination with the huge stones and waterfall. I love that sound.
Hmmmmm. Wow. It's doubtful charlie is in a rolling brook with beautiful surroundings, but believe what you wanna believe.
You all need to get out more often and see nature. Lol
What is strange about a water snake getting on a nice warm boulder to sun himself? I don't like them but they won't hurt you.
Now if a rattler had come out then grown to monster size, then I would have been freaked out.
Could his ashes be in west virginia ? I know for a fact he loved it here. I live 20 miles from where Charlie spent his younger years in mcmechan west virginia. Charlie wrote to the warden at moundsville west virginia state pen wanting to be transferred from Corcoran to moundsville. The letter is still at the moundsville state pen that is no more than a tourist attraction. Anyway the warden at the time rejected the letter, denying Charlie from being transferred.
Is that stream close to where Manson attorney Ronald Hughes drowned during the trial? That would be an interesting story.
I'm glad he had at least one positive person in his life-no excuses for his actions.
I wouldn't want anything from Manson ..
I wrote Manson several times, and he never wrote back . the rest of the gang did write back !
Exactly
I believe that the services and grave sites are for the living relatives. I lived in both Bakersfield and Porterville and I was born in the 60's, so this peaked my interest. And from what I have learned about this families tragedies Mason's Grandson surly deserves to be able to greave in peace like everyone else.
You are always on it Scott!
Mason at the end was given far more dignity than any of his victims. And if anyone drown or accidentally died there it would be said it occurred by the hands of manson.
He was an agent of chaos and a sick little prick who got what he wanted ...the rest of his life in prison...
Why am I watching this about this killer 😮😮😢
He was cremated and his ashes were spread by his son and followers
Jason Freeman, Manson's grandson, eventually got his body having said he would cremate and spread the ashes of the man who inspired his followers to kill seven people. they were scattered on Jan 27, 2021
seeing the snake was no coincidence.
Probably should have flushed the ashes down the toilet
Too beautiful for the likes of him.
I was born and raised in Bakersfield. This brought back so many memories.
Charles Manson, the most hated man EVER. Even though it was never proven that he gave the order to ☠️
I believe Tex should be held way more accountable too.
@@kellie5476 Yes, he definitely did things on his own. Now he is all religious, maybe someone should ask him to start telling the truth 🤔
Just wattch the interviews of the ones involved and you'll be surprised.......
