I've always loved those old Barracuda's with the bent glass rear windows! I know they weren't quite as popular as the later model "Cuda's" but I always loved the looks of them just the same. The price didn't look half bad either. Wish I had the funds to make it happen.
Mee too! I've had a '64,two '65s had to sell last one w/360 auto because unfortunately my uncle died and I needed room for his '66 Buick gs convert. 4sp
The barracuda is my favorite. It's a shame that everybody has to paint their bumpers , including me because the chrome job cost too much and peels after a couple years. Great show Solon, keep em coming man.
Solon, as always a Mopar is needed to be in your presentations! Today as I have read by others: the Plymouth Barracuda would fit nicely in my garage. Next to it 'd love to own the Power Hawk. You hit a "DOUBLE" in todays segment! Keep up the Super videos, brother.....
Hi Solon. Was afraid there wasn't gonna be any coupes. Love the mercury coupe. "Gonna buy me a mercury and cruise it up and down the road." Also liked the studebaker truck.
Great looking buick especially only $11,500. I will be moving over seas so I just can not pull the trigger on the car. Shipping to the Philippines with what they "tax" your car keeps me out of the picture. The last car, hawk looked awesome. As usual, thank you Solon.
The '49 Studebaker pickup is my fav from this bunch. I do like '53 Chevys, but wouldn't touch the one in this video because I don't like the wheels and there is too much money ahead sorting it out to decent condition.
Great videos by the way... THANK YOU ever so kindly 4 all the work you do 2 bring us all these REAL vehicles. As the saying goes,... "They just DON'T MAKE 'EM like they use to!"
I know...the story of my life as well! Many years ago, I paid $300 for a really solid 1956 Ford pickup and sold it a few months later for $800, and I thought that I had done well on that! Now I wish I still had it!
I was born in 1966 at the same time my friend George Barris was making the original Batmobile and before he died in 2015 he gave me every model of the Batmobile ever made and he sighed then all I can't afford any of the Batmobile made from the original Batmobile
WOW! He was my favorite custom car builder ever and I still try and go see any of his cars when they show up near me! I saw the Batmobile at the world of wheels car show in Bham in February. Although it was possibly a replicar, it still thrilled me to see that car in person!
@@Americanrodshop you can also see some of his cars at The James Dean run in Fairmont Indiana he use to be there with his wife and he would bring his cars there now it's just some of his cars because I still belong to his car club Kustoms of America when he sold the original Batmobile at Barrett Jackson car auction in 2015 before he died I was watching the auction on TV and he said please don't make me cry and I know something was wrong no body ever made him cry so I called him on his cell phone right away to see what was going on and he told me he was saling the original Batmobile and I told him you had that car sent's you bought it off of Ford for 1 dollar and I told him if you want me to I will get on a plane and come get you and the Batmobile and we both take it back to your place Kustoms City in North Hollywood California and he said no I have to sale it he never told me he had cancer because he knew I lost my dad to cancer and that I would try anything I could to stop it if he would a have told me that but he never did I called him on his birthday to wish him happy birthday and he was at the shop working on another car for a studio and he told me he was not feeling good I told him go home and take some medicine and get some rest in the morning I got the call from his daughter Jodi Barris that he died in the night I could not go to the funeral because I was crying for two weeks strai
@@Americanrodshop the Batmobile went for 4.6 million dollars at Barrett Jackson car auction in 2015 and he had his daughter with him when he sold the Batmobile i still miss him to this day
Solon, I'm going with the 3 B's tonight. BUG, Buick (#1 here) & BLUE 63 Chevy Step Side. lol! I like that 47 Merc at the end, but those front seats look like the Tombstones for the HR Pufnstuff cast from the TV show that was on Saturday mornings in the 70's! I'd still buy her. She has a great stance. I think that 39 Buick would really POP, in Black & White paint job, with a B&W interior. Maybe some modern wheels, and tires? Growing up, my next door neighbor had a Larkspur Blue, and White 1957 Bel Aire, 327/3 on the tree. I always told her whenever she wanted to sell it, I would buy it. When I was 15, the 3 speed went bad, and her mechanic traded her $200, and a 1968 Jeepster for it. I was crushed! I was so close. My Dad was like WHAT were you gonna do whit it? It was $1500,00 and then a junkyard transmissions is $60, and you'ld have to put it in! My Mom's brother Harry reamed my Dad out! He said, you could have picked up a solid, no rust 57 Bel Aire, for $1500, and a $200 new trans, AND YOU PASSED!!! What the Hell is wrong with you?!! Uncle harry called the mechanic from our kitchen. He said he wanted $10K, and hadn't even touched it yet. My Uncle Harry, and Dad didn't talk for 10 years.
LOL! What a great comment and great memories! I appreciate you sharing! It brought back so many memories of the cars that I passed on over the years, cars that I wish I owned now!
Is there any way to contact these folks with the vehicles?OTHER THAN Facebook¿ I do not have Facebook, I will not get Facebook or Messenger. Which is owned by Facebook! And every link I click on is Facebook marketplace. Someone help..."PLEASE?"
No surprise here, I love the Barracuda. I love, love, love the Studebaker, what a head turner. Another great selection.
Thanks Charles! I appreciate you being a long time viewer!
The '66 Barracuda 👍👍
Good pick!

There are 3 cars I wouldn't mind owning/66 CUDA/68 Mercury and the 56 Stude power hawk ALL NICE CARS BRO.
I with you on that Charles! Thanks for viewing!
The Studebaker and Barracuda are my favorites this time. The Bug is cool, too, but I don’t like the stretched frame.
Yeah, that is becoming a trend with those frames and I don't know why!
The barracuda is my favorite. It's a shame that everybody has to paint their bumpers , including me because the chrome job cost too much and peels after a couple years. Great show Solon, keep em coming man.
You are right about the chroming, the price to have that done has gone through the roof!
Studebaker truck and the Cuda were my favorites.

the 23 t bucket and the 66 Barracuda ... the Cuda would look great next to my 66 A100 .... but I've always wanted a t bucket .....

Studebaker Power Hawk👍
