Like that '66 El camino 👍👍
It is a favorite pick of many tonight!
THANK YOU SOLON!!! 1950 Ford bullet nose with THE BADGES!!! 😀
lol! Thanks Paul!
Love the studabaker truck
I'd rather have that one than a new one!
Great job tonight. Loved the 48 and the Buick opera.
Thanks Roy for being a viewer. I appreciate you.!
Almost to the 30,000 mark! You’ve worked hard for this channel! I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your work.
Thank you Charles! I could not have it done without all of you great viewers!
A '66 El Camino is one of my dream cars
Nice! That is a great dream car to have!
Welcome in here everybody!
Hey Solon. The old 47 coupe brought home a people's choice award at tonight's car show. Love the coups.😊
Solon, at the beginning of the broadcast you call us viewers as a Family. Does that make you, DAD? My todays favorite is the Plymouth gasser. Yes, I would run it at the strip....GOOD WORK, DAD....
Probably more like Grandpaw!!!! LOL!
Wow Solon. Episode 200 is coming up soon. Great job!! 👍🍺
I know! That is hard to believe!
57 Chevy pickup and 66 El Camino are my faves.
Great picks Mary!
The Studebaker truck is amazing! The '66 el camino is priced right and looks great!
You are right on those Leo!
Wow, great cars Solon, Thank you for sharing.
I appreciate you viewing Brian!
Good morning solon, the chevy pick up is fantastic.😊
I agree, that’s the chopped body style. I would love to have on a 57 Chevy pick up!
I live on the 45th parallel! It's still light lol... as always I'm late.
Share this channel folks, Solon works hard to put out this much "crack" for us!
Working in Ohio for years, I can't help but say "I'm going bowling way out in"... Everytime I hear Solon!
Though being a student of ancient history, it's a magnificent handle my friend!
Slainte!
Favs:
1928 Chevy (WTH) tanker! I'd fill it full of cheap N.Z. Sauvignon Blanc.
And park it at (every) town's little fleet food truck coral! And it's a serious steal. Grr Solon!
El Camino with a 400ci mill? Needs a 3rd pedal but vera cool.
Nice '29 coupe, stop with the '29s I had a Phaeton, and can start and run an A. Ten more years and I'll just build a new one... seriously. You can get everything stock new for an A.
Plum crazy Studi is awesome but missing a third pedal. Fricking wussie boomers putting turbo 350/400 on old cars, another Grrr.!
Oh Heck! That Buick is a fricking gem! WOW. clean and straight as hell... probably the best!
Though the drunk MILFs I envision with the Chevy tanker heheheheh.
Arggg the '39 Tudor!!! Clean and OEM! This is insanely clean WOW!!!
No. 10, for the love of God stop putting GM mils into Fords! Ford made plenty of great mills for such fun. A 302 would be superior dang it. I like a few Chevys, but putting SBC's in a Ford is sacrilege!
GREAT lineup Solon. I'm going bowling, okay, I'm actually going to bed,
Luv ya Bro!
Great comments as always! I always look forward to reading your comments! Thanks for viewing my brother!
Lovin that 39 ford and that charger was pretty awesome
It is a sweet one - 👍 I like that one as well John!
Not a Chevy guy but that 28 tanker truck is my favorite really cool!!
It would be cool to own that one!
Naturally I like them all I can remember the day that's my Uncle Pete's came home with a brand new 1957 Chevy pickup my cousins and I thought it was the prettiest truck we had ever seen. Growing up in a small rural town my first car was a 1950 Ford with the body cut off behind the front seats it has concrete blocks over the rear axle for rear end weight. I'm sure some of you guys from the 40s and 50s can relate. Solon you had mentioned thunder road one time I remember seeing it when it first came out was my favorite movie at the time; the theater back then was a quarter,
Damn hit the wrong icon. Coke for a nickel as well as candy. The first time I got married my father-in-law was a moonshiners and he gave us a 56 Mercury with a Lead bottom that he used to run moonshine in. Back then I couldn't afford the gas to keep it running as it was a real gas hog. He lived in the mountains of the Georgia Tennessee border had a still on his back porch made his shine with 5 lb sugar And yeast it was fantastic as long as you were sitting down but oh Lordy you did not want to stand up as that was all she wrote. God bless and have a great night thanks for your program many of those cars take me back to the time they were just everyday cars and the sedans were your parents cars.
@@Chip1434Kenworthy Wow! What great memories! I loved these stories of your life and memories that you share! ! You need to write these down and make a book or at least write them done to pass them on to your heirs! Great memories to share for sure! Thanks for being a viewer!
The 48 dodge coupe is cool. Worth the money. Also liked the 39 ford.
I agree Dave! Both are good picks!
The 1925 Buick Opera Coupe is gonna be hard to beat but I'll hold on my pick Brother.
Great pick!
If I had to choose it would be between the '29 Ford Coupe, the '25 Buick and the '39 Ford Tudor. So hard to choose like you say. Once you decide it's like a car marriage 😂
Thanks for the show Solon, Shalom ❤️🔥
Good picks, great comments as always thanks Mr. Higginbotham I appreciate you being a viewer!
Great comment, I appreciate you being a longtime viewer, Mr. Higginbotham!
@@Americanrodshop Thank you for your work! I really appreciate it Sir.
Gorgeous Studebaker pickup!
I agree 100%
Thanks for another great video I loved the 73 Chargwe
I appreciate it Fred!
Green ford was bea
Yes it was!
I love that 73 Charger
That is a great pick!
Nice variety of autos, good work.
Thanks for being a viewer Bruce!
Solon thanks for the video it was great. You did a great job showing the cars and trucks. The 55 Chevy and the 66 Chevy are my 2 picks that I really like. Thanks.
I appreciate you being a long time viewer as always Malcolm!
While I like the 39 Ford, my favorite was the Studebaker p/u. A great look at a reasonable price
I had rather own that one than a new one!
Kickazzzz "It came from the internet"!
It was wild!
Love the 66 Elcamino! I own an 86 and wish I could get this one, but sadly I can't 😢 Great Channel!
Thanks my brother!
Excellent job Solon! All beautiful many very reasonable, for me the elcamino was the standout, as nice a truck as any man would want to drive for the price
I agree with Jason! Thanks for being a viewer!
The internet Ford is one of the few fat fenders that I like. Stretching it makes it look better proportioned
I agree!
1957 chevy pickup in Kalamazoo is my choice.
Good pick!
Great stuff tonight, Solon. Keep on rollin’ brother.
I appreciate it Joe!
48 dodge my favorite this episode
I LOVE the 3 window coupes DG!
The 66 elcomino is a great deal and the 55 is a decent car to build I would love to look at the floors of the 55 and really check out all the spot that are known to rust. And the 39 ford was a great car and I love the model A if my money was right I'd jump on the elcomino or the 55
All great picks and great insight on those vehicles!
Morning Solon! Been away a few days without Internet. Gonna catch up some of your videos ❤
Thanks Mary!
Very cool rides! Hard to pick just one, but the ‘66 Elky is sweet.
That one has been a favorite! Your A.I. car is coming up tonight!
@@Americanrodshop thanks.
75-78 age 15 -18 I owned 3 cars. ‘51 ford custom w/239 flathead v8 72 firebird 350 v8 and a 55 chevy pickup 2nd series. I sure wish I still had them
Wow Texas! Those were some nice cars to have owned! Thanks for being a viewer!
@@Americanrodshop I didn’t play hs sports. I worked 3 jobs at the same time. Rural school 57 students in my class and that was considered big. Elementary school janitor, sales at a local auto supply and laborer loading tires into 18 wheeler trailers at the general tire plant. My hs friends dad had the contract to load all the trailers. I bought all of them. Good times.
@@texasaggie8449 i’m with you there brother my parents were poor. Couldn’t afford to buy us kids much so I started mowing yards at age 12 making $40 a week during the summer and I thought I was rich back then! I didn’t play sports either at the age of 14 I was mopping floors, two hours a night seven days a week at a local discount store. But I enjoyed those years, taught me a lot same as those did with you, brother I wouldn’t change it for the world!
@@Americanrodshop we’ll probably never meet but I’d love to meet you and visit. After hs I went to Texas A&M. When not in school I worked as a framing carpenter. Graduated broke but no debt. I’m truly blessed and give thanks daily.
THANK YOU
I appreciate you being a viewer!
Ford Tudor for the win!
Great Pick! That is a nice one!
Think I’d pick the El Camino.
Good Pick Rom! I appreciate you being a viewer!
Best Buy 66 El Camino!
You are spot on with that!
Great video 👍
Thank you for being a viewer!
Thankyou!!!!!!!!
Thanks for viewing!
Charger 👎 white paint...
I agree - I did not like the bumpers and grill being painted white either!
Buyer be ware of any classic car for sale. The exterior and interior may be pristine but the undercarriage is the heart of the vehicle. Most of these vehicles for sale are "flippers".
Good insight and advice!
@@Americanrodshop I learned this from KIWI and Uncle Tony. They both have podcasts on UTUBE.
I like 57 Chevy PUs; like the 66 El Camino, wish it was 4 speed;
Good picks JR!
#5 ìs awesome Ford pickup
Good pick!
The stud e baker..❤ those trucks...but give a break $30 grand WOW...
It is pricey but soooo nice!
39 ford is the bomb
It was nice!
Isn't it funny how many old Fords get fitted with a Chevy engine
It happens a lot! LOL!
Chevys are cheap
I like the dodge charger#9
Thank one is really cool! Thanks Joseph!
That '28 Chevy tanker is odd cool
I agree!
57 Chevy Pu for me.
Me too! That one is exactly the way I would want one built!
I have to go with the 1925 model a Ford
I like that one as well!
Cut the top of the rod..to high..been there ..#10...max head room....
Chevy 210 👍
Price too high on the Plymouth 😅
You are right on that one!
Lets roll solon im with u
Thanks as always Joseph!
5 star
I appreciate it Byron!
That is the year I was born in in 1966 so me and that Chevrolet car are the same age
1966 was a good year! I was eight years old then, and I was in love with my brother-in-law's 55 Chevy!
@@Americanrodshop I was just born and I heard all the music and when I first seen a Corvette I was in love as I got older I knew that there was no way I could ever have one they were and still are a lot of money but thanks to my grandpa he got me one and I still have it I priced a new C8 Corvette it's two hundred thousand dollars that is out of every working mans money that is because they are made of fiberglass still and plastic with aluminum frames now mine is fiberglass and steel underneath so if you see one for sale under ten thousand dollars you better jump on it because the price of the old Corvettes are going up
Hey Solon that 57 Chevy truck is one bad design and street truck, just wow……
I REALLY like that one myself!
best car was #1 and #9
Both great picks Tim!
I have to wonder how well that '48 Ford turns?
That's a good question, I wonder that as well!
It should turn just fine, power only goes to 1st rear axle, 2nd rear axle is free wheeling. I’ve never figured out the attraction of putting a 2nd rear axle.
@@Thomas63r2 makes sense Thomas!
@@Thomas63r2 An old friend whose father was a logger, did it to a 3/4ton Ford flatbed so he could have more gross weight rating...
@@Runnerup5.68 Yes, I was in the commercial truck business for many years - I understand the purpose of a second axle in a truck with all the supporting structure and equipment. But for a street rod its an ungainly way to make people to look at it. Rather than looking cool, it makes it look a little industrial. Might as well put a spiky purple mohawk on the roof for attention. It adds a lot of weight and makes it less of a hot rod. I just don't get it, sorry.
Hi Dude 🔥
Hey my friend! Great channel you have, I have subbed! Thanks! Come join us in the live chats during some premiers!
Survivor catagory
Good idea! Hmmmmmm....
@@Americanrodshop always been my favorite,,and there's the bankers hot rods,,widows cars and orphans too
You know I love those gassers
Thais one is expensive but nice!
A Ford with a Chevy engine is NOT a Ford anymore ..which is a good thing ..call it a Chord or a Fhevy...
LOL! That comment made me laugh! Thanks, Ben, for being a viewer!
Cut the top of the rod..to high..been there ..#10...max head room....
I love the chop top look!
