The fact that you have offered this class for free to us! 🤯 I am so grateful! I’m still learning, a year later. Still using a simulator and watching every single video you offer. So far I am getting better every day.
Hello, I hope you are doing well. I'm on beginning of my learning curve. Can you please tell me which simulator are you using? I have hard time finding a good one.
@@Elvis-ob3ek you find one yet? My school is using a market watch sim for a competition but it doesn't have anything helpful for day trading and its meant for longer term investments
Today was a tough day for me in trading, but your words really helped. As a single mom, I've dedicated so much time and energy to learning day trading this year, and sometimes I just feel like throwing in the towel. But this video means a lot, thank you Ross.
I feel You! I ended up giving back my entire weeks gains today :( I've ;earned so much from these videos lately. Don't throw in the towel, Learn from your losses.
This stuff isn’t easy, but having the perspective of a veteran can bring tremendous value. I’m a SAHD with a family of 2. We’ve gone from 120K in cc debt to 16K in four months! Still a lot to go but trading works.
I’ve been trading for about two years trying to find a strategy that works best for me. With limited success and confidence. I’ve been watching your videos & reading your book for the last two weeks. I’ve never felt this confident @ understanding why, when and how to trade. Thank you for being so generous with your knowledge and clear with your teaching. It’s EXCELLENT. God Bless you!!
This lesson is a gem. My main problem is patience: I start to see something that I "want" to see to force an entry, too soon or too late. The trading window is the key, where the stock is alive. Many times I start to buy too late adding near a support while the stock slowing down: I wish it can jump up, I dont follow my logic anymore and I wait until my loss are huge. Many times I start to buy too soon, when there is no real confirmation of the upside movement, my stops are too far from my entries, there are spikes everywhere and the emas are far from entry point. I start to take stops and when the stock finds its support over the previous high, I've lost confidence and wait too much. You have helped me alot with those hints. Thanks
Excellent lesson. Unfortunately, many of the remarkable tips are hard to grasp until you have made the mistakes yourself. I guess "learning from other people's mistakes" is not as easy as you think. Anyway, thank you for your discipline in streaming on WT every day and being generous with your explanations. A role model to follow! Got your new book as well. Thank you for inspiring all of us!
I definitely agree. You can watch a 100 RUclips videos but until you're behind that computer placing orders it's not going to click. I blew several accounts before it clicked. And by "clicked" I mean I'm doing alright lol
Out of all the youtubers that teach day trading equities Ross is THE one to watch. He's teaching from a real world perspective catered to YOU and other developing and experienced traders as well. Not all this wasted air time with interviews and big dreams. This info is very digestible, but not cheap basics. His videos get traders enthralled within their journey, learning and growing.
Thanks for this video. I actually had a good day with MINM (got out too early though), but everything went south thereafter with the trades I took (FOMO, got out too early to stop loss). Got in with SNGX, shot to 1.9, didn't take profits, plummeted to $1 (held), then shot back up to $2. This was where I forsook everything I had been disciplined about - I didn't take profits and I held way too long (for hours; I now typically only hold stocks for a few minutes). Then it began a slow bleed to 90cents.
Thank you so much for sharing. I’ve done well taking the foot off the gas, but when it comes time to hammer down I feel overwhelmed and tend to miss the large moves up. When you are using the 1 min chart, what are the other EMAs are those? I see that you respect the 9, but what are the other 2? Thanks!
Thank you for this lesson/lecture, Ross, you definitely have the gift of teaching. How do you determine the support on a stock if you’re going long for a swing trade? Do you have any resources for that type of trading?
Ross primarily focuses on day trading, however, there is also a Swing Trading course that is part of the Warrior Pro program. You can email our team at team@warriortrading.com to learn more.
Hey Ross! Great lesson, I have really enjoyed these videos and thank you for putting them out. You mentioned futures and I'm hoping to get your thoughts on a beginner trader starting out on the micro E-minis? For the spy they're $5 a contract and with reasonable expectations I feel like it could be a good vessel to start with. What are your thoughts? Thank you!
This insight is SPOT ON. VERY valuable info. Thanks a lot ! Being stuck to a big growing wick while your stack dissappears with the candle is the Worst event in trading to me. The market can deal out more downers than that tho. It pays to be calculated, careful and never chase price. By the time you catch it , it wont matter anymore.
Hell of an education? Thank you so much. I play the breakout strategy. And I get in trouble quite often. I'm a small time trader compared to you. And I do take my 10% 15% trades. Stay green that way Or maybe I'm just scared to hold the line. I do like that strategy a buying In as you're going up. Thank you so much. You have a wealth of knowledge.
This is outstanding education. One slight problem I do see with this is that your strategy is a bit tough for beginners and I believe one reason you have more success is that you are trading pre-market when volume is low. Your share size is so big that you essentially become a market maker in those hours, at least to some extent. Your trades influence the price which makes this strategy easier to execute. Love the video and love your content, just something for newer traders to chew on.

Thanks Ross, always love hearing your expert analysis on these plays. I really needed to hear this because I was one of the schmucks who lost my ass on MINM today, and this is after I had the largest profit day of my trading career with VVOS yesterday taking in almost $10k. Then I turn right around today and give it all back plus some😞 It’s so frustrating! You made a good point and I think part of my risk management has to be sticking to stocks that fit my strategy and avoiding these micro float stocks that are super volatile

Youre the only one out of thousands of videos on youtube I feel I can trust. I need guidance because Im putting all of my time into learning. Ive been afraid of this stuff my whole life and its to the point Im tired of not having due to my lack of knowledge or courage to try.
I trade currencies with forex. Im looking to trade stocks but have a problem on choosing a good broker for day trading stocks. Any suggestion. Forex doesnt do stocks.
I can't believe I ever tried to day trade without a scanner..It's the first thing I do in the morning now. It's life changing once you get it dialed in. - Nice score Ross. You're videos are seriously the most helpful on YT.
Hi Ross. Thank you for the videos. General question - If you can, is it better as a beginner trader to open an account with $25k+ but then just trade with $500 of it as though it’s a small account, thereby overcoming the PDT rule, high commissions etc. while only risking a small sum? Is there any reason this wouldn't work? Obviously this assumes a level of discipline and sticking to $500...Many thanks
That is exactly what I am doing, only $25k + $2k ... The $2k is my capital and I never dip into the $25k to avoid PDT. I have consistently been able to increase my capital by 3% or more per day with the exception of the 21st and 22nd of November. Those were pretty bad days, only because I broke my own rules and I kept getting in too late. My average daily gain on my capital for the month of November was 7% and I am well above the losses I took on the 21st and 22nd. ... and as Ross always says "My results are not typical". I can't stress enough ... Keep a spreadsheet so you can track your profits and losses. Make use of VWAP, E9, E20, and E200
I like to add the bands to my 5 min chart, it helps to identify squeezes even the small ones, so I like to add it to my entries, it makes me more confident. I like to see more then one sign before entering, helps to stay in get in and comfortable to exit.
Ross, wow, you killed it with this video. Many many thanks!!!❤ I learn every time I listen to you. You’ve changed my paradigm to trading. I appreciate the effort you put into doing these videos for us. On behalf of the thousands that don’t say thanks… thanks!
Ross - Excellent on the reading of this stock. I'm a beginner trader in the retailed market. I was inspired by your videos in this business and choose this as a side hustle that could potentially a main part of income. But I actually loose 3k in shorting this stock MINM, my biggest lose to date. I had difficulty in judging when to cover when going further into the red (when to stop out). Just didn't know when to actually press the cover button. As a beginner trader, judgement of the trades can be very clouded when it not going our way (when to get out). I have made $1100, then $300, $200 the previous days, then slam into 3k loss day. Any tips on how to sustain winning and minimize loss during actual trading when there is such high volume, and the tape is all over the place.
Personally I try to stay super disciplined at cutting losses and letting them go. It hurts my accuracy, but it’s the only way I can keep my losses small
So as a beginner trade, I've noticed the biggest hurdles to overcome is Emotions and Risk management. It was the same share size as before with the 3x previous green days. Plan was to have more than 50% accuracy and take small profits out of the table. Emotion got involved and I was thinking it will break and the stock will reverse. It never happened. Didn't know when to cover, as the minutes pass in the minute chart. I was thinking @ $1000 in the red, but I choose to carry on and eventually lost more money.
You are by a mile the best teacher and best course out there. You have inspired many to trade and even more to be successful, myself include. Thank you Sir. 🙏
Fantastic video Ross, I made 8.5% on my portfolio last Monday which was a big move for me breaking my struggle I've had in the cold Market (still down overall). I will take this advice and work on it moving forward and really analyze my trades but I know I'll see exactly what you explained; I've been trying to buy breakouts on volume in a cold market and gotten killed on the rejections. The advice you've given in this video is gold and really hit home. Thank you so much for your time and dedication to helping others be successful. I've taken your Warrior Trading class and thought it was brilliant. Keep up the great work.
Hi Ross, I keep getting chewed up in the first five minutes of trading, how do you know when to enter early or when to wait for a better opportunity? Do you trade the opening range? Whats a good strategy for it? Thank you for sharing your trader wisdom with everyone!
Ross, I just want to say you're a great teacher and I appreciate the effort you put into your videos. I've never day traded before but found your videos a few weeks back and have been taking notes on everything I can. I'm hoping to start trying out the simulator and scanner soon, do you run any promos for yours?
Hey Ross I bought your course and I bought your book! Just wondering if it’s possible to watch videos that have been privated or were they copyrighted or something? Sorry for asking again Ross but it wasn’t really clarified what happend to those videos
We just don’t keep all the content on RUclips. We took them offline and don’t plan to put them back. The videos were good for RUclips but didn’t meet our standard for Warrior Pro members.
Hello, I must say that I have known you through RUclips for years and you are great, I have a question, does the Trading View work platform give good data of the free market and after market (as far as I know, not really)?
When you say 50% retracement, is that on each individual candle or let's say 50% on 2 green candles in a row? Thank you for all the insight you provide on RUclips!!

First of all great video, very hulpfull! I was wondering tho how to completely recognize when it's a hot or cold market and mainly how fast it changes, daily, weekly? I assume you can't really give a perfect answer on this question, but an indication would be amazing!
Do you cover how to tell when to hold in this video? I entered at 18.75 on VVOS but it went below where I felt comfortable just to shoot up to 40 a few hours later. I'll be coming back to watch the full thing but please let me know!
Thanks! Studying right now, just got some books on candlestick charts, daytrading basics and my technical analysis book will be coming Thursday. Keep up the great content!@@DaytradeWarrior
The more I trade, the more I understand the different nature traders and their strategies. And this is fundamental knowledge. I don’t want to stretch it so far as to “what person you are” but definitely your trades define you, and once you know what trader you are, then you are going to be comfortable with your trades and strategies. Because just to figure out what thousands of strategy to apply, that it’s self is a steep journey. Good trade to all!
??So confused here. Do you not use indicators? I use the 5min to 30 min chart for day trading with 5/13/48 ema cross with a 200ma. The 5 crosses above13 that's the first sign of a rise, the 200 ma was below the play a second sign, then the 13x(crosses)48 that's when you enter, all still above 200ma (above 200ma is bullish) and you exit when a candle comes down and touches the 48EMA. I like the scanner idea, and float idea. I went back to this play and it would have worked out perfectly.
I found this analysis particularly insightful, focusing on topping tails, support and resistance, and utilizing the daily 200MA as a valuable reference point. Additionally, the emphasis on reading the chart for trade guidance was well-explained. Great content!
Thank you!!! Ross, your teaching is really helping me learn trading. I am not at the point of using my own moneys, still paper trading but learning and slowly getting better. I am still learning TradingView and feel I am not proficient enough yet but working on it. Your Video's are keeping me in the game. I will be excellent at trading hopeful sooner than latter. Please, please, keep your classes coming you are a good teacher.
just stumbled upon your blog. I am 63 and now single starting over. I opened a robin hood account with 500. I am just now trying to educate myself about the market stuff. man, I would love to have a mentor. I would like to buy myself a little house
Another brilliant straightforward explanation of "yeah that's how to do it" trading Ross. Thank you again! Follow this flow of trading EVERY stock and you won't go wrong peeps! ...Ross have you thought... YOU may be the ONE affecting the whole market climb by educating the masses?!?!🤭 my account has grown exponentially last two months just following a few of your videos. Thankyou im working towards 25k to be able to DT full time. Went from 1.5 k to 9k this month! 🤩
This was a really great video. What I walked away from this thinking is that I'm not too worried about making a ton of money right now just getting into this. I just want to get a pattern down get my metrics and figure out what I am really doing. Small amounts fine now. Is this a wrong mind set?
Thanks, Ross! I follow you from Brazil, and your videos are really helpfull. It's great to see your techniques and how you apply them daily. Congrats for your work!
This is so spot on what ive seen and done on a 200% move and why i still lose money. I have to fit in better the integration of the minutiae in small fundamentals to the bigger picture. I just have to put it all together and relate it back to the “business” of stocks and business in general. Ross you’re an amazing teacher, make that Professor!!!
Cold market wait for the green strength after dip; hot market, potential for dip trades. But allbeit keep in mind the entirety of the setup and its evolution from your prior prognoses.
Ross really studies us, his community! He really keeps us inspired and motivated to truly feel there are some changes to be made in my own trading that i can utilize to make material change in my trading! Ross is the best! Just doesnt throw a strat out there. He also doesn’t let you forget that it’s you that have to make it happen, which is kudos for those that really want to be competitive.
Be aware: There are many other strategies that are MUCH less riskier compared to Ross' very questionable "candle breakouts" and trend support trendlines that can be broken at anytime. I tried this and lost quite a bit of money. Buying bottoms on solid HORIZONTAL supporr lines, or EMAs on hourly/daily charts, at way oversold levels, is much much safer
Great video, Ross! Thanks! Just curious, if you get stopped out and take a loss, do you get back in that same stock? I'm still trying to figure out if wash sales are something to avoid at all costs, or should be ignored if there's potential for profit.
I’d love to see a volume to shares to buy ratio chart. So if the market is slow (or volume is on the lower side) I can scale down appropriately. Any advice?
Ross - was there an "event" right before each of these stocks make those major surges? did more news come out? Were these stocks to be traded exclusively on 'technicals'?
@@DaytradeWarrior Ok I saw your subscription packages. Some questions: 1) Do you offer advices for cryptos and commodities investments? 2) Which are the top 5 news websites for investment news? Thank you.
13:41 you say that you have to addapet to a hot market by lowering size, but you start of in the begining of the video by saying you have to increse size when the market is hot, what is it? to me it makes more sens to increase size, yes risk is higher but reward is also much higher
So yes I understand, decrease share size to manage risk, but if your doing well and metrics support it, increasing relative to what your risk can handle. The most important thing is to remember that when the market is hot, you can advertently be taking a lot more risk then you may realize.

Nice, thanks for the reply. Hope it continues to go well for you.
Are you a member ..?
Fantastic video Ross, I made 8.5% on my portfolio last Monday which was a big move for me breaking my struggle I've had in the cold Market (still down overall). I will take this advice and work on it moving forward and really analyze my trades but I know I'll see exactly what you explained; I've been trying to buy breakouts on volume in a cold market and gotten killed on the rejections. The advice you've given in this video is gold and really hit home. Thank you so much for your time and dedication to helping others be successful. I've taken your Warrior Trading class and thought it was brilliant. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!!
Hi Ross, I keep getting chewed up in the first five minutes of trading, how do you know when to enter early or when to wait for a better opportunity? Do you trade the opening range? Whats a good strategy for it? Thank you for sharing your trader wisdom with everyone!
hi Ross .. What y think about 2 min chart ? Thanks for episode 💗 great one as usual
Ross focuses on the 1 minute chart, but the 2 minute chart could work as well. All about using what works best for you!
@@DaytradeWarrior thank you boss ❤️👍
Probably the most insightful video of yours I've seen yet. Thanks, Ross!!
Hello, I must say that I have known you through RUclips for years and you are great, I have a question, does the Trading View work platform give good data of the free market and after market (as far as I know, not really)?
MARA is killing it, I'm up 33% as much as would like to scalp trade I have to do swings for now because of work
When you say 50% retracement, is that on each individual candle or let's say 50% on 2 green candles in a row?
Thank you for all the insight you provide on RUclips!!
How do you feel about buying in premarket and after hours trading for a day trade?
I’m happy to do pre-market but usually I’m done long before 4pm so I don’t trade after hours
Classified in the same class at Tylenol with CODIENE which is tylenol3….. this is considered a opioid/ narcotic
So Cannabis won’t be classed the same as regular over the counter Tylenol
This is a great video Ross and thanks to you I feel more confident in my trading journey. Always grateful to you for sharing this with us.
Glad it was helpful!
Do you teach how to actually type in the buy and sell orders not just watching these candles?????
That was brutal for both sides, got nice winners and same dramatic losers, listen to you with both ears, ty Ross
Very helpful Ross…these latest videos have been very genuine …thank u sir
First of all great video, very hulpfull! I was wondering tho how to completely recognize when it's a hot or cold market and mainly how fast it changes, daily, weekly? I assume you can't really give a perfect answer on this question, but an indication would be amazing!
I’m loving your classes
That's great, glad you're enjoying!
Do you cover how to tell when to hold in this video? I entered at 18.75 on VVOS but it went below where I felt comfortable just to shoot up to 40 a few hours later. I'll be coming back to watch the full thing but please let me know!
I hold until I get an exit indicator. But ya know I’m a day trader, I don’t hold all day.
Thanks! Studying right now, just got some books on candlestick charts, daytrading basics and my technical analysis book will be coming Thursday. Keep up the great content!@@DaytradeWarrior
You're basically the Bob Ross of stocks. You always paint happy little charts.
Your a remarkable teacher. I’m hooked. Thanks for sharing your experience, insight and knowledge.
man i've learned so much from your free content. ty. wish you continued success.
Appreciate that!
When u say ur moving ur stop loss at are you talking about your limit stop loss or trailing stop loss or just manually putting it in if it hits it
Would be limitless stop loss
Trailing stop loss moves up automatically does it not?
Glad it was helpful!
This is a really good and honest video, thank you so much! Only discovered your channel yesterday, will certainly watch more.
What app do you use to trade and please explain how we can fund the app and how to place orders and trade
At 45 mins in, you are absolutely describing me, over the last 36 hours, trading NQ... I appreciate your words there.
Dear Ross my best friend growing was a Ross , what % trailstop do you recommend ?
Hi what kind of scanner and tools you use to see changes in stocks
just stumbled upon your blog.
Amazing!!! Congrats Jonny! Keep it up!
This was a really great video. What I walked away from this thinking is that I'm not too worried about making a ton of money right now just getting into this. I just want to get a pattern down get my metrics and figure out what I am really doing. Small amounts fine now. Is this a wrong mind set?
When you day trade what is your favorite indicator u use and your moving average??
Vwap!
Such great advice here, knowing when to back off a cold market, this is my problem right now...thank you for this.
Thanks for showing me how to maximize my trades appropriately lol. I learned a lesson within a lesson lol I love it 🙌🏾 this shh is fun Fr
Thanks, Ross! I follow you from Brazil, and your videos are really helpfull. It's great to see your techniques and how you apply them daily. Congrats for your work!
Awesome, thank you!
Scaling on the ascending support, in this respect makes so much sense to mitigate risk!!!
Thanks Joseph!!
Thanks ross for a nother good video
Be aware: There are many other strategies that are MUCH less riskier compared to Ross' very questionable "candle breakouts" and trend support trendlines that can be broken at anytime.
I tried this and lost quite a bit of money.
Buying bottoms on solid HORIZONTAL supporr lines, or EMAs on hourly/daily charts, at way oversold levels, is much much safer
What makes it a "hot market" and a "cold market"?
The unfortunate thing about think or swim is that relVol doesn’t work during premarket so the 4h time frame would have to be a substitute.
Great video, Ross! Thanks! Just curious, if you get stopped out and take a loss, do you get back in that same stock? I'm still trying to figure out if wash sales are something to avoid at all costs, or should be ignored if there's potential for profit.
Yes definitely I’ll stop out and get back in. Capturing the profit is most important for me.
The big mistake I see are large size bets and not building them incrementally basis points at a time. That way if youre wrong it wont hurt as bad.
Another great vid , Thanks Ross 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. Plan to save it and re-watch soon. Thanks for sharing this.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you enjoy it on the second time through as well.
Thanks, Ross ,I appreciate you sharing your experience and wisdom. You are a great teacher
Many of the stocks Ross trades have news or some sort of catalyst for the move. This is something Ross looks for typically.
how do you get your news?
Great video Ross! Appreciate the education 👊🏼
Thanks Ben!!
Hello Ross, today in the pre-market period, NEXI was suspended from trading and was resumed in the middle of the market. Please explain this matter.
The exchanges can pause or halt trading on a security, and they did that today. They were likely concerned by how much the stock was up on no news.
@WarriorTrading : 07:00 - 11:00 am in which timezone?
Just asking for a friend from the village.
(Thanks for the great tips).
I’m on eastern standard time.
@@DaytradeWarrior Ok I saw your subscription packages. Some questions:
1) Do you offer advices for cryptos and commodities investments?
2) Which are the top 5 news websites for investment news?
Thank you.
22:55 would it be bad to sell? As a beginner id take the porfit straight away and move onto something new, would that not be a good idea?
Ross, how do you show float on tradingview chart, I saw on your set up? Would be awesome to see the float right away when opening a chart
That’s something we did custom.
Another awesome video Ross. I always learn something watching your videos💯 Thank you so much Sir
Thank you for dropping the knowledge Master Yoda. Love seeing you on Dash Trade!
Happy to share, thanks for watching 🙂
Inspiring talk. Thanks guys! Thumbs up.
How did you get the lines to chart ?
Does he trade with forex ? Or robinhood? Anybody I am looking to join
