Without doubt Dallas Green is one of the top-tier vocalists today. He can communicate so much emotion so exquisitely. His "City and Colour" (solo) work is all this great. But he also is part of Alexisonfire where he fits perfectly into their hard and heavy style. Check out "Sweet Dreams of Otherness"
I had the same reaction the first time I heard Dallas in 2015. Mouth wide open. Thinking who is this guy and how am I just now hearing him for the first time. I’ve been obsessed and I mean obsessed with his music ever since then.

Apparently the first album he bought with his own money at 12 or 13 was an AIC one. It inspired him to become a musician.
I don't normally care for AIC covers because I unintentionally compare them to Layne, but this is something amazing in its own.
You should hear his cover of Nutshell.
There are so many classics out there. To see them remixed and sung like this is spectacular 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦

You know it's city and colour because his first names dallas like the city and last name is green like the color! Always thought that was cool lol
City and Colour’s album Little Hell is amazing. Dallas Green is a huge talent.
It really does show the amazing writing talents of Layne when you can take a song and flip it like this
