I’m not sure if it’ll be good competitively but ed zenitsu is a beast in surge because you can chain his tcf really fast and spam skill. I haven’t seen anyone do this so I thought I’d share my experience.
to me it feels like this weakness is a deliberate choice by the designers, they want him to really have weak neutral. seems subjective whether its a good or bad nerf, being good across the board clearly makes you stronger, but they saw how powerful he was and went harder in the design and idea they already had instead of "homogenizing" him. I can respect that design philosophy.
People always dissing on enmu for a nerf like my brothers and sisters in christ if you have health lead dont approach him😐😐😐😐😐 if anything he needs a rework no nerf or buff make him a new character
I would have preferred they let him keep air combo cancel but make it cost 2 bars to use. That way, since his demon skills are only for resets and Enmu tends to usually have an escape, players would just have to mind how often they use the tactic. Air Combo to Whisper to dodge is something players attempting to use as replacement but why not let him have both option with a little more cost imo.
Basically he struggles against Susamaru and Yahaba. Every other match up is moderately even or in his favor. In other words he's similar to the other characters. The obvious answer would seem to be nerf or rework the projectile mechanics as a whole. But by design, every character should have flaws worth pointing out. So I don't believe there's anything wrong with Enmu. Just bad match ups and balance.
I hate facing Enmu cuz all they do is spam projectiles and stay in the back, but then when you have the health lead YOU’RE the one that’s supposed to stay in the back. It’s kind of a lame match imo.
If you delay your neutrals right after a tilt skill you'll have alot of opponents blocking right into a grab or gettingcaught in the explosion of the orb. I don't see alot of enmu players playing with the timing of attacks much
These types of changes really make u appreciate the water wheel chronicles more . Plus I don’t like the change to the DPs for tanjiro & sabito , no DPs should never be a safe on block option cyber connect . Most fighting games now this logic very well
He isn't bad at chasing, the stupid long range he has on normals make it so that if they move, they will get hit, when any other character would miss, except him cause his range is massive.
I think at higher levels this doesn’t not play as huge of a part since people are very good with push block into heavy attack or push block into parry.

If you heavy he can still just jump away and use his projectiles, or sleep, parry won't do anything, as he has so much range it doesn't hit him, and if you move, he will catch you because of the long range. He may not be as bad as susamaru, but he still OP af.
Nah guess I gotta be that guy but Enmu was around unbeatable pre nerf in the high ranks. So many cheap combos before where you can’t get a hit in because of all the flying and projectile cancelling, many characters can’t hit him in the air playing safe like that which is completely unfair. So many people were asking for his nerf for a reason, this is what y’all Enmu mains get for playing a busted overpowered demon 💀😈

Yahaba to me only unfair thing was how high up he flies above 90% of the characters hit box. There were so many people cheesing that by gaining health leads and just flying wayyy above attacks, I don’t remember all that they nerfed for Yahaba but im very happy they nerfed how high he flew above hit range to make it fair. To me I think the most annoying thing about Demons is how high above everyone’s hit boxes they are, literally so many moments where a big brain play is made but they are literally out of range so I can’t even do anything but if the player was fighting anyone else the counter attack would register. Then the demon player spams safe routes by staying in the air because they know they’re untouchable up their as long as they spam projectiles 😐 just wayy too much of a unfair hassle which is why I hated Enmu’s super safe air escape. Now Enmu players have to be sure that if they do a move, it better be the right one or your getting punished like everyone else.
Here's the funny thing about balancing. If a character has a select amount of very good tools, meanwhile the rest of their kit is kind of just not really good and requires the character to abuse those tools because they have no other way to fight, then you kind of need to nerf the good tools and give them *other options* that don't rely on those heavily nerfed tools. That's why it is bad. Enmu got strictly nerfed, and the buff that he was given doesn't help him in any way outside of more resets, but he can almost never get in now with the nerf to his j.A.
it's a term from street fight which means dragon punch or something like that ? it refers to every offensive move that is invincible on frame one, that means as soon as the server registers that you pressed that button you become invincible until the end of the effect duration, these moves are also known as reversals (because well, you use them to reverse a bad situation)
PC if you can run it. There's a big community playing the game with a Re-Balance mod called "Waterwheel Chronicles", so you'll find more players to play against online.
The only buff I want is to the gawddamn input delay in pvp, left the game due to the input delay came back today hoping it was fixed, nah looks like gonna leave the game again

I only played this game for a few hours before I uninstalled because a enmu main killed me from range by spamming projectiles 😂
