I have the same sentiment. I like the characters. Yeah people like more fast pace story but i love that the show take it time to flesh these characters through dialogue more especially jimmy, mike and added other characters such as nacho, lalo and kim.
I still prefer BB but BCS is still awesome, for me BB is just too iconic and for everyone to watch, while BCS is mainly watched by people thats interested in BB universe as a whole and wants more, such as myself, i reccomended my friend to watch BCS but he got bored then he watched BB, after watching that now he's interested in BCS, do its not for everyone, but still BCS is great in its own
When this season is over im going to be sad that that’s it. But wow, what an absolute pleasure its been to have 2 of the all time best shows ever made. 11 seasons of pure television perfection. Take a bow Vince Gilligan 👏
I have no idea how it's going to end. Will Kim die? Will Kim and Jimmy reunite in the Gene timeline? Is Jimmy hiding behind the Saul persona the whole BB timeline or does he truly become Saul Goodman? Part of the brilliance of this show is that they managed to bring so much uncertainty to a character whose story you thought you knew.
Better Call Saul is beautiful. This looks insane, the chase of Lalo at Nacho promises to be one of the best moments of the entire series. I count the days to see this closure to the story of our beloved lawyer.
And to think those characters initially were nothing but a throwaway line in BB’s season 2. The creators conceived such a complex story with just 2 lines of dialogue!
Everything about this series is a piece of art. We know exactly what characters are gonna survive, yet, we tremble the moment they're in danger. If that isn't great story-telling, what is?
@Bo Murphy Gambles That's your theory, and it makes zero sense. Why would that be Walt saying that, he isn't apart of the story yet and even if he does get cameoed why would High School teacher Walter White be saying that LOL
@Bo Murphy Gambles Not sure if you guys ever realized, Mike and Walt have similar voices under the right conditions. Second of all I don't think you followed my logic the first time, so let me break it down in case you forgot what happened in Breaking Bad and El Camino. Okay, in Breaking Bad Walter White dies at the end and in El Camino he is confirmed dead. At the start of Breaking Bad Walt is a high school teacher okay. So why the hell are you thinking Walter White would be saying,"It's not going to end the way you think". It makes no logical or rational sense to think that Walt would say that in either the Jean flashbacks or in the ending of Better Call Saul which would be High School teacher Walter White. So in other words, if you didn't catch my drift the first time, the theory is trash.
1:39 I think they teased us too with this line. Maybe the showmaker is trying to say that season 6 is beyoud our expectations. And I most certainly believe that.
Breaking bad season 1 was 14 years ago, we now have 11 seasons in total (combining both shows)....... And I've enjoyed every season. Huge respect to the talented writers that have been working on Better Call Saul because I'm sure writing for the final season of a prequel show has been stressful and challenging. And of course respect to bob, giancarlo, jonothan, etc. for the decade long performance as these characters.
"No one knows what we are doing....except for us" "Whatever happens next...is not gonna go down the way you think it is" Ok guys, we see what you did there.
Details, left to our imagination. Or maybe even some important plot elements getting hidden in a "Jessie-drives-away" style. People think that Kim is either supposed to die or escape, since we didn't meet her in Breaking Bad. Well, looks like there's more ways to explain her fate. Or Nacho's. Or Lalo's. And maybe we won't ever know.
We have been absolutely spoiled with 15 years of the Gilliganverse and now it's finally coming to its EPIC conclusion. THANK YOU to everyone who brought us these modern day masterpieces!!! Crime dramas will NEVER be the same.
@@djendick Yeah well I personally would love a Salamanca/Nacho and maybe even more Gus? Series. It is challenging,I understand, but It can be absloutely rewarding
It is actually really good that they know when to end a show just like in breaking bad. It is way better to end it at a good place than to drag it like 10 seasons
The thing I love about this show, is despite it being a prequel they’ve created new characters for us to love and wonder what will happen to them. Obviously we know that Saul survives but we know nothing about Kim or Nacho yet
Based on breaking bad second string central characters, said to represent innocence or of better affinity, such as Sklyer, Marie, Walt's kids, it seems likely to me that the below will happen (but I don't know how) 1. Kim will live with Jimmy at the season's close, but certainly live. 2. Nacho will survive, as will his Father. 3. Lalo will die, at the hands of Nacho, less likely at the hands of Kim or Mike.
I think lalos death or disappearance might be ambiguous because when Saul gets kidnapped he starts freaking out and starts to blame Nacho for everything in BB
I ended last season thinking Kim was going to con Jimmy out of his Sandpiper cash and ride off into the sunset, but not so sure about that now that I've seen this trailer.
@Tom Bombadil the show isint meant to have a happy ending. I hope that doesn’t happen but realistically it makes sense. No Kim in BB maybe she escapes and nacho gets killed but no way both live
@@jamesmacdougall2694 My friend 5 years??? This serie for me was epic but they really annoyed me this time, in 5 years anything can happen is a miracle they did it

This is how I feel. Binged the entirety of breaking bad in 2014 and have been in love ever since. Watched better call Saul since season one and this trailer looks INSANE. just the beginning "do you ever feel like you're being followed?" Like what a change of pace.
"You think we're wicked?" To see these two characters (Jimmy and Kim), become twisted, immoral, selfish and willing to kill is so heartbreaking and so well done. Better Call Saul's character development rivals that of Breaking Bad. (Though I don't think one is better than the other. I think of them as two parts of one story.)
Not trying to sound overdramatic but that line gave me chills. I feel like this show started off a bit unsure of it's direction but what it evolved into is really engrossing

I just can't believe it's all nearly over - it feels like yesterday I watched Episode 1 of Breaking Bad for the first time. Now it's here: the Three Amigos' saga is finally coming to an end.
I'm the odd ball in my friend circle who absolutely adores the show. The relationship between Saul and Kim, the intensity that the shows gradually build up to. It's just gold to me. Not appreciated by many, but the people here who comment know. I'm glad we're here, all looking forward to the s6.
Me too! I love the atmosphere of the show, the dark humor, the clever dialogue, the unique characters. It's not for everyone, but it's exactly what I want from a show.
I watched the Ozymandias episode of Breaking Bad live in September of 2013. I was in college then, and I'm glad I had my brother with me because I needed to be with someone after what I was witnessing. I didn't think anything could be better than that episode. This time I'll be by myself. And I'm ready to experience something better.
I started binge watching BB during season 5B. I caught up the morning of To’hajiilee. So Ozymandias was the first episode I had to wait a week to see. That was brutal.
So you would have fallen over like Walt, if you didn’t have anyone, i get it, but man i was strong enough to watch it myself i couldn’t not talk about it though.
1:47 I remember when I saw this trailer I had the guy in the foreground figured as an close friend of Lalo's south of the border, and all that that implies. The way he smiles when he sees Lalo in a blood-stained shirt made me think he was going to be a particularly sadistic fellow. A guy who enjoyed hunting and torturing people, and was very good at both. I figured he and Lalo would team up to hunt Nacho down, in a very inhumane way. Almost like they were hunting game rather than a human being.
I love how they create a dialogue out of random lines to make us think howard is suing jimmy, totally subverted my expectation, thats what a trailer should do.
We call that a "teaser: So great they developed the stuffed shirt lawyer into someone with the guts to fight Jimmy in the ring. Nice character development, and TOTALLY unexpected!

I felt the "I'll show them!" attitude of Jimmy... I feel like this show and I grew up together. Sad to see it go but a spectacular end to one of my favorite shows ever
It is also good how we get to see how his journey begins and ends in the present. It does not only start his origins but also shows how the other characters link up and also crucial to how the entire thing ends as this show is set in past (before BB) and the present. It is genius how they do it without contradicting the the original series like a lot of them seem to do with retcons or missing out major stuff. The Scream films parody that aspect of retcons, sequels and the like but Better Call Saul is essentially a masterpiece.
As of the 27th of April, it's clear that this trailer consists mostly of scenes from the first three episodes. The element of surprise in regard to the rest of season 6 will be very strong.
@@arcanea9598 maybe.....if not they will give us more of those short 30 sec teasers not a official part 2 trailer....cuz it's returning in a month now.....
Yeah, I was fully expecting the bulk of the season to be Howard building a criminal case against Jimmy and Nacho running from the cartel. But virtually everything in the trailer was from just the first 2 episodes, and my expectations were subverted (in a good way).
Literally had chills the whole trailer. I can't believe this gonna be the last. I started watching season 1 and the rest recently getting pumped up for this
We are actually lucky to witness the episodes that are released freshly every week. I'm proud to be a BB & BCS fan and I'll tell it to my generation that I've witnessed all these in the moment when it's released.
I love it how the thumbnail of all these trailers from past seasons and this season have been shots of Jimmy looking progressively more and more depressed and reflective of his decisions.

Better Call Saul, proof that you can have an amazing show while having a pretty good idea of how it ends.
I have no idea how it's going to end. Will Kim die? Will Kim and Jimmy reunite in the Gene timeline? Is Jimmy hiding behind the Saul persona the whole BB timeline or does he truly become Saul Goodman? Better Call Saul is beautiful. This looks insane, the chase of Lalo at Nacho promises to be one of the best moments of the entire series. I count the days to see this closure to the story of our beloved lawyer.
And to think those characters initially were nothing but a throwaway line in BB’s season 2. The creators conceived such a complex story with just 2 lines of dialogue!

@@zeus433 I just did that in preparation for the new season. I'll probably re-watch S5 again on the 15th.
The thing I love about this show, is despite it being a prequel they’ve created new characters for us to love and wonder what will happen to them. Obviously we know that Saul survives but we know nothing about Kim or Nacho yet
Based on breaking bad second string central characters, said to represent innocence or of better affinity, such as Sklyer, Marie, Walt's kids, it seems likely to me that the below will happen (but I don't know how)
I always fear something terrible will happen to Kim, but more than likely she'll just want to get away from Jimmy's orbit.
Or Howard for that matter

Kim dies at some point or you would see her in Breaking Bad...
The cinematography and colors used is so amazing looking so far. Looks like a step up from the past seasons. Awesome
You know a series is good when even the trailer is a masterpiece 😂
That teaser at the end: "Whatever happens next, it's not gonna go down the way you think it is."
I'm so excited!
