That “albino redtail catfish” is actually an albino Asian redtail catfish(Hemibagrus nemurus)
They get to about a foot long and while being fairly aggressive for a catfish are not extremely aggressive as some people say they are
The asian name for it is the red tail baung😁
I have one with catfish. They mostly get aggressive after feeding time.

Why would you put the fish in a container with no water to move them? Especially if you're going to chat about it for a while. There's no reason a fish should be out of the water for more than like four seconds, and that's if you're using just a net.

I have a question on my bullhead, my catfish has cloudy eyes, red lips and some of his barbels are messed up plz let me know i don't want to lose my favorite fish!!!
The ph level in your fish tank is too low which is causing the fishes eyes to become cloudy. As for the red lips and hurt whiskers my guess is that he is bumping into things and hurting himself. Maybe get a bigger tank.

I have an eclipse catfish that is the same size and he doesn’t cause any problems for me. I’ve had him for about a year now and he doesn’t come out much. I only have 3 aquatic plant decorations and a piece of driftwood, where he hides. No substrate in that tank so that hydrogen sulfide doesn’t build up.

My Horabagrus brachysoma catfish does the exact same thing I think his skin gets a little itchy so he scrapes it on the sandy bottom at night. My advice would be just put in about 10 pounds of coarse sand I think his belly skin is just rough so he just needs to scrape off the excess every day.

I don't think it is the catfish fault i think is your filtration and light those on your tank is brown algea diatoms it only show up when there is so much waste in your tank.
I think you have to get a school of those sun catfishes if you want them to come out more.

Why do people keep fish out of water for so long while talking or filming. The catfish "quickly hid" and lost his color because he's stressed out probably because he was out of water for so long. Let's do a better job of educating others by doing research and educating ourselves first. Good luck 👍

I mean in a way I see why the tank is a pain big tanks are a lot of work if u had a 60 gallon then went down to a 40 gallon and they both broke from water changes like completely taking all the water out putting the fish in buckets with their own water of sum and fill the tank back up after cleaning and wiping the glass down with a cloth and hose or at least in your tub anything’s possible lmao

He will for sure eat the smaller catfish mine was smaller than my betta fish and mauled it. It was in a 10 gallon to grow bigger and be moved to a 55 but started to kill everything so I took it out.

How do you see its a flowerhorn and not something else?
I looked up pictures and they come in so many shapes and colours. They are made from crossbreeding a bunch of different cichlid species, so when do they stop being normal hybrids and start being flowerhorns?
That’s a very valid argument, and I know the way that flowerhorns look, and from my belief, it looks like a flowerhorn to me.
