You look great! That truck is insane for a daily driver! Emissions legal! Can't wait for the drag strip! Plus the information on the mods and gains you are getting! Love it! Keep it up! Mods then dyno results!
I'm the original tester of these manfoilds for over a year and a half.. they make power, bullet-proof oem castings, and no false knock associated with LTH's
@@calebfelts962 Honestly I don't know as I never ran LTH's. I've been working with SPD since I owned my truck. They flow very well, install easy and the biggest plus for me was the false knock. LTH's on this platform tend to send the knock sensors crazy.. I'm still on a ported Gen 3 whipple and not a Gen 5 like Dorian. I did make over 940whp with these, so the proof is in the pudding.
My 07 gt500 picked up like 15 rwhp and 40 rwtq going from stock manifolds with catless hpipe and borla stingers. My long tubes also have a catless h so its tbe exact same setup other than the headers. Same dyno but a year apart similar conditions. I have larger rear drag radials than before which could have took some gains im not sure but it picked up 25-30 rwhp through most of the curve and 15 at peak it picked up 40 torque peak and it was up 40 from 3k-5k+ and even past that it was up 20 all the way to redline this was on a gt500 with the 5.4 and a gen3r blower at 20 psi on 93 and boostane. Very noticable gains especially in the torque department it feels much more eager and alive and it sounds alot meaner too. Long tubes are always worth it especially on boosted applications above 700 wheel. Its very noticable even if youre already catless i think some people think most of the gains come from that but its really coming from both the headers and that and the headers make as much difference as ditching the cats if not more. *edit* Not only did the power and torque increase that much its doing it at about 1 psi less boost which is even more impressive. More power with less boost is always a good idea.
Love your channel I like those ported exhaust manifolds I think the stock manifolds are pretty good from the factory these are Better and low maintenance after messing around with long tube headers on street cars for awhile this definitely a better option
Curious why you didn’t go the long tube route. Would be more power right? Unless that was budget friendly. Sure you have to account for the install and dyno time also. And the fact you daily that as you only car and it’s that fast is sick. Good stuff
I believe it not only depends on the setups on the very same vehicles but the very operational parts of the same motors, example you can have to men almost identical in weight and body structures eating the same diets, but they will not perform exactly the same, one will be more powerful than the other,,,,,,
Ok..I have some questions..I have a gen 2 f150 truck motor/6r80 going into my 90 fox..I switched to a 18 manifold..comp cams.. I'm keeping the stock f150 convertor ..what all do I need to go 600 to 625 rear wheel with a procharger?..can the trans conv handle it.. and what fuel pump would I need.. currently the car has 2 fuel systems I could run.. either a 450lph quantum with the -8 -6 hat.. or I can run what's on it currently which is a aeromotive a1000 going into a Glenn's performance sumped tank?..
Well you're in the right place haha. If you happen to be new to the channel go back and watch his earlier videos 1st on the undertaker. There's a lot of good footage on upgrades. That's what I did and worked my way up to the newest stuff.
I know most of these guys stick with OZ tuning, but if you want quality info look up Alejandro Flores who works for lund racing on RUclips. Me personally, they are the best in the game. No disrespect to boostedf150 or OZ, just my opinion. He is the best source of information on coyotes and he does a ton of content.
Thanks guys! I got a 15 platinum with the 5.0 in it all stock. It definitely gets the bill done now. But looking to wake it up a little bit especially in the mid rpm Range. I’ll look into all of y’all’s recommendations!
Get headers with stage 8 locking header bolts won't have problem of headers coming loose had mine for over a yr and never came loose I drive in country back roads daily
1. I’m completely happy with my setup 2. Headers make the setup too loud to have a phone conversation while daily driving 3. They cost more in part and labor 4. I’ve made over 1100hp without them and stayed completely emissions legal
@@BoostedF150 just didnt know if ur main concern was them coming loose and was justing passing on about the stage 8 bolts. Love the truck and content 👌
Any PO420 codes thrown because of the high flow cats? And rear O2s are still on? Those are damn good gains from stock style ported manifolds & catted y pipe. Long tube header gains. I'm in Jersey too and my father is looking to to do manifolds and mid pipe on his 19 Single cab. Wanting to keep compliant just to make things easier. Thank you for the great content!
I just ordered the same centre console as yours, did you have any issues installing it because it's supposed to be for a f250. Thanks for the inspiring videos.
@@BoostedF150 I have a 2018 4 door whippled, I opted to throw on Kooks LTH’s with catless y pipe for the power and fear of stock cats failing and hurting the motor. The sound is horrible and embarrassing above 2k rpm, a lot of wasted money but I may have to change them out for these SPD manifolds…
That truck is Not making 1K hp. 500? 600? Maybe. 650 TOPS! When engines pass that 900 hp mark it starts making a different tone. This truck Ain’t got it
always good to see an upload from you muh dude, cant wait to see you put some passes on this beautiful rig
Great gains, can't wait to see you out at the track, best of luck
Awesome!! I was so glad to see a video from you up!! LOOOOOOVE your truck brother! Makes my tuned ecoboost look like a prius!!! 😂
I ran the SPD crossover with Shorty Headers in my Gen3R boosted F150. Not only does the SPD work, their Customer Service is top notch 🍻

Look who's back! We missed ya dude 🤘
I been waiting for a video from you! Insane how a simple change and gain that much power. Can’t wait to see that truck on KILL
Great video bro, can't wait to get this motor in so we can have some fun runs down the track.
Nice work sir! Can’t wait to see some passes this year.

@boosted f-150 please setup a race with @itsjusta6 Shelby truck
I always enjoy your videos. Just curious what made you go with a Whipple over at 2650 Magna charger? What do you like more about the Whipple?
Does that make 1000 whp at 22 psi?
That's badass. Truck coming out real good🤘
Did SPD do the GESi cats install in their Y-pipe. That's not offered through their website. Thx
I had the first one, it will be available in the next few weeks on their website
Im surprised about the manifolds, 1073 hp at the wheels is crazy. Low 9s.....maybe 8s?
Awesome gain.
Great video. How can i contact with you about cooperation ? we are the seller of truch obd scanner
High single digits to the wheel? WOW yep I was way off

There’s a few reasons and you’ll see them in the next part of this series
My first gusset was 15 on the manifold, second gust I'm saying 23. Back to the video.
Off by 7. Either way that f-150 is a breast.

Damn, it's a beast
That y pipe was clean
Do they have that setup for my 2015 bmw x6m?
Recommend that y pip and ported manifolds for just a NA f150 5.0?
I’d guess it would be worth 15rwhp na which is still great bang for the buck over LT

Yup
Why not consider switching to a catted x-pipe true dual exhaust?
I’ve had it before and the sound is annoying

If you're long tubes rattle a loose you're probably using the wrong technician to do it
My guy isn’t the issue. I said those NJ roads are the problem. You can have it tight and the fasteners will just strip the ball flange and get loose
Should have shown a exhuast clip
Notification Squad here
total 40
At your power level you wouldn't feel such small increases surely
Manifold only +12 all together +30
Pretty close on manifold but way more than I expected I was banking on 30 all together and he got 30 from ypipe alone sheesh sweet gains.
But if you install a stainless LT headers you can save some weight!!!
