    This rules. The new standard for T-rex.

    Thank you for the comparisons, I’m looking at getting many of those figures and have been wondering how they would scale with each other.

    As many figures there are of Tyrannosaurus this is a good figure and plus I think they should make Tyrannosaurus Mcraensis the official second tyrannosaur from the Hall Lake Formation

    Always thought this was amazing, since day one. Haven't buy it yet, because i'm Portuguese, and i'm waiting it to arrive in Spain, to order it (wich is kind of weird...). Anyways, a must have.

    This is the best lipped T- rex yet! I may pick one up soon as I believe it would look great with my red & brown Shliech Triceratops. That Eofauna Triceratops you showed is another must have imo. If I had them both, that would hold me for a while lol

    I don't like the colors for a predator that must act with caution, that yellow color, it says "look at me, here I am ready to hunt you" from far away...For me the color ruined the figure, plus those little mistakes in the eyes and mouth.

    • @AndyCog_1710
      @AndyCog_1710 5 месяцев назад +8

      In a natural environment those colors could work, dinosaurs weren’t living against a white background. Alternatively, imagine a giant brown mass (like PNSO’s Cameron) moving across a forest, that would be more obvious…

    • @charlierex2614
      @charlierex2614 5 месяцев назад +3

      Tigers are orange because the prey they eat can’t see the colour orange. If T.Rex had prey that couldn’t see yellow, the colours would be practical.

      I can certainly see this colouration working for nocturnal hunting at least

    I live in Chicago, and have seen Sue numerous times throughout my life and she holds a very special place in my heart. I love when companies decide to base their models off of her. My only real critique has to be the avian-like rictus they depicted for the mouth, but otherwise the sculpt and proportions are quite good.

      Got to finally see Sue last August. Surreal experience seeing her in person. Had a blast in Chicago. Have to get back now to see Archaeopteryx. Probably won’t be until the Bears finish the new stadium.

    So, I, like a lot of your subscribers, have a bewildering number of dinosaur figures that, like a box of chocolates placed in front of me leaving me wondering where they all went five minutes later, I do the opposite…damn, man. Where’d all these come from?
    It’s getting harder for me to justify another tyrannosaurus.
    I’ve heard some complaints about the color scheme on this one but I believe it’s an attractive model that could be looked at as a male in breeding colors or a camouflage scheme depending on where and what time of day it did it’s most hunting. Everything is speculation once you leave a bone lab.
    So, I don’t mind the paint scheme.
    My issue is the lower jaw.
    I’ve owned a couple of larger monitor lizards and the jaw on this Rex has a bit of an up curve that(I have to double check some skeletal)doesn’t seem right but reminded me instantly of a large monitor’s mouth.
    I could be wrong.
    Or maybe in production, it was the shape they went with to improve the open/close function?
    Don’t know.
    But beyond an avalanche of theropods in my collection and the, to me, odd jaw shape, I have no quibbles with this very nicely done figure.
    Spending my money on sauropods, ceratopsians and hadrosaurs for now until something really spectacular comes along.
    One post mentioned Rebor’s Kiss…despite some minor flaws, for the money, it is one of the best tyrannosaurids. I think you can still get them for a fair price as I saw BigBadToyStore was taking more preorders on them a few weeks ago…
    Stay free, stay safe.

      Yes, just checked. BBTS is taking preorders on Rebor’s Kiss at $54.99 and, I assume, whatever the shipping is which is typically not much.🙂

    Nice sculpt but (as typical with EoFauna) a very overwrought paint scheme. Very jarring and unnatural-literally looking like paint on plastic. I’d have preferred something more like Blue Rhino’s version. But sculpt wise, it’s a hit.

    One of the most beautiful paint jobs I've ever seen, really looking forward to get it. I wonder if they'll ever make a rex based on Scotty tho.

  • @ChuckMusicDinoLover

    The biggest thing I'm not crazy about is the profile of the snout. It looks kind of bear/dog-like. The other things are more minor but still stick out to me... the short knobby teeth which also have the black spots on them (cavities?), the blunt claws, and the paint especially on the tail looks a bit sloppy. The tail has those random harshly brushed lines that remind me of their Diplodocus's tail stripes. They just look really painted on than natural. But with all that, I'm still probably going to get it. I'd like to have EoFauna's T. rex representation next to their Giga!

    Hello, Hope all is well with you and yours.
    What can I say, It's Sue for crying out loud!! I personally love this little girl.
    Nice touch including a base. PNSO.... Get with it.
    Colors remind me of a Gilla Monster.

      @@DinoScreamReviews understandable. coming from someone in Asia, I can agree even tho PNSO is cheaper here though it was the reverse for the Eofauna rex. It was cheaper to get the Pnso Museum Spino than the rex here

    I’m curious, whose PNSO figure's acrylic rod work with it?
    When I get it, I don't intend to use the base, and I'd rather have it leaning on a stand than leaving it unaided.
