I believe those are the last, since the show is coming to an end. The op itself is somehow nostalgic by the memories "hunting" the songs persona in the rain, kind of hinting all the pain the characters have been through. It is also my favourite music from FMAB.
Thats what Im saying, at least yo see him always being loyal to what he believes and what he stands for, he is also one of the strongest and smartest characters on the show
I love Heinkel's speech, he became my fav chimera there (like I didn't already loved his cool moustache and when he used "finger guns" to "threaten" Ed when they were running from the military in the North), because he *knows* the Elric brothers, he knows that they have a very rigid moral stance and he knows that they consider every soul human, even the ones inside the Philosopher Stones and the souls in armor bodies, like Al, Barry or the Slicer brothers. He knows that probably *anyone* in their position would use a Philosopher Stone to fight back with almost no hesitation, because it would be the logical and pragmatical thing to do, but precisely because he knows the Elric brothers, he knows how difficult it would be for any of them to even think of using a PS to fight against their enemies (Geez, Ed is even having trouble fighting zombie mannequins that just want to eat him, because he still considers them humans). They care that much, and Heinkel and the other chimeras know that. That's why Heinkel tried to appeal to Al with that awesome speech of giving those souls purpose, fighting for the world and not for selfish reasons that would be bringing the brothers their bodies back. I know (and Heinkel too) that the logical thing to do would be to use the souls in the PS to fight because they're just souls trapped into a stone with no individuality or chance to be humans again, but the Elric brothers have trouble with this because 1) there would be imposible to ask those souls for consent (as they can't talk), so they don't have any idea what those souls really want or if they even want to fight, they're just assuming, and 2) they're human souls that once they get "used", they would just disappear from existence, and to the brothers that's like killing them... and they're all about "no-killing", even their worst enemies. That's why I love Heinkel little moment there. I love how Arakawa (the mangaka) gave *every* character, even secondary or incidental ones, a purpose and a personality and a moment to shine, EVERY. SINGLE. ONE (who would've thought Yoki would came in clutch to save them from freaking Pride?!). And with a show with *that* many characters, I think that's truly brilliant. I've yet to see an anime or manga that have done that so effectively, many anime just focus on the protagonist (or protagonists) and a few other characters and that's it. But not FMA.
Hiromi Arakawa also has another one of my favorite anime -- Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon) It remains one of the best series I have ever watched. I was in a bad place when I watched it, and it helped me through it somehow Even now when I watch it..it's comforting, like a hot bowl of soup. Soothes the soul
Extremely underrated series honestly. Which is surprising you would think that manga written by author of FMA would be more popular. But I guess it’s because it’s different genre?
Ironic how Sloth's the fastest homunculus, yet his laziness is the only thing that's holding him back from unlocking his full potential. If only he tried harder, he could've bested his opponents with ease
Isn't that rather the point of the concept of Sloth? Lacking the will, ambition, desire, or just overall motivation to apply your potential to anything? Honestly, I'm a bit perturbed how relatable I find his attitude to be. Some things are just too much of a bother to put any effort into it.
May I say, I very rarely see a reactor include reactions to the OP as part of their main reaction (if at all; and forget EDs, almost nobody seems to love them ☹), much less actually consider the lyrics as they relate to the show. I love that you're doing these things.
This is my 2nd favorite intro, and most favorite outro! "Ray of Light" - I used to have this song on repeat and tear up thinking about FMAB's final arc. "I want to be stronger than I am today. So someday my voice may reach you."😭😭
I know im late, but i will point out something a lot of people let slide; if you pay close attention at the ending scenes of both Op and Ed you can tell they symbolize a full circle, op ends showing the Elric's house( where the journey started) while the ending ends showing Rockbell's house (where the journey ends)
Alana, you're so sweet. Thanks so much for uploading this awesome reaction video. I love your content because it's so cool, and I really enjoy watching you react to different shows. You are so cute, and I love you very much because you're an amazing reactor.
Ed not being able to beat alphonse is a testament to what we witness with alphonse with a stone. insane battle prowess for such a young age. imagine a sequel with him travelling to xing
Woop! Early geng geng! 🛎🙌 one of the main thing I like about FMAB is that you get to choose your favorites, every characters are likable in their own unique way. Chimeras are one of my favorite ones aside from Greed and Olivier. 🙌
@@doubleasworkshop1692 That's true. Ed gets more upset when Al is threatened than we he is. The first greed pointed it out. He's the type that doesn't care if he gets hurt but if you touch someone he loves... (Spoiler alert) . . . . Al may get involved with a princess. Dude may actually become literal royalty.
FMA:B is a better series than FMA, but man oh man, FMA music was goated. If you get a chance, just listen to the FMA OST (personal favorite -- Brothers)
Hi, another show Hiromi co-created is 'Arslan Senki' AKA (Heroic Legend of Arslan). Really good anime/manga. It's underrated. Y'all could check it out if you haven't.
The funny thing is that Sloth was thought of as the fastest homunculus because of the idea that lazy people want to do everything quickly in order to get back to rest as soon as possible :)
You don’t think Envy would hurt Mei because he is indebted to her? Pretty sure he also owes Ed big time for getting them out of Gluttony so I doubt that’s true.
As messed up a character as Kimblee is, acknowledging he's on the wrong side of morality, he's still able and willing to have a legit philosophical conversation with whomever wants to talk, and opening up Ed and Al's blindspots. Sure you want to have everything? It also means you can lose everything. Can you stick to your ideals when times get though, or will you cave to sins? Even though it's not right, I really like how Kimblee was written. Kinda like the Joker in Dark Knight
OMG, I can't wait for you to watch next two episodes!!! Thanks for your reactions! I was touched every time when watching your Fullmetal Alchemist reactions.🥰
If you know it then ignore the comment but try not to watch the op and ed of any anime until its the last ep with that op and ed or you will surely get spoiled on something, like that scar vs bradley battle. Anyway love your reactions keep them coming😁
THOSE NEW OP AND ED THOUGH??? 😭
(ps. the next video will be out on sunday 👀)
I can't wait! The next 2 episodes are good amd emotional 😭😭😭

I'd like to see your reaction to all OP now you finished the serie.
Kimblee is a bad guy, but also is too enjoyable to watch, his philosophie although kinda crazy, it's cool and is my second favorite character.
Thats what Im saying, at least yo see him always being loyal to what he believes and what he stands for, he is also one of the strongest and smartest characters on the show
Kimblee lives by every word of his philosophy. As insane as he is, he’s true to his word. Let’s not forget how intelligent he is as well

FMAB in a nutshell, right there.

God I fucking love the music in this show.. the outro playing before the episode ends hits different everytime
Al using the stone and the Armstrong’s fight with the Sloth was so goooood!!
I love the detail of how whenever ed is faced with a collection of souls , his trauma triggers qnd he remembers nina🥲
May I say, I very rarely see a reactor include reactions to the OP as part of their main reaction (if at all; and forget EDs, almost nobody seems to love them ☹), much less actually consider the lyrics as they relate to the show. I love that you're doing these things.
You down bad for mustang Alana. Like we get it alr…. you love him! 😆
maybe we need an “I LOVE MUSTANG” counter LMAO
this last arcs opening hits the spot every single time
This is my 2nd favorite intro, and most favorite outro!
"Ray of Light" - I used to have this song on repeat and tear up thinking about FMAB's final arc.
"I want to be stronger than I am today. So someday my voice may reach you."😭😭
I really love that you include reactions to the openings. They are all so iconic and tonally important, but most reactors seem to ignore them.
I know im late, but i will point out something a lot of people let slide; if you pay close attention at the ending scenes of both Op and Ed you can tell they symbolize a full circle, op ends showing the Elric's house( where the journey started) while the ending ends showing Rockbell's house (where the journey ends)

And now most of the pieces are in place - if anyone is watching along with Alana for the first time, you are in for a ride!
those heart eyes you had when Mustang showed up 😂
*anything happens*

its okay im tearing up buckets when i watch these reactions lmao
I'm impressed with how much faith you have in Envy to do literally anything redeemable 😂
I must object over the upload title. Alphonse reached King mode when he went toe to toe with Lust and held her off long enough for Mustang to show up.
perhaps he’s been a king since the day he was born😌
@@AlanaMisako Nah, Ed had to take him to the bathroom on the day dad left. Not quite king yet.

Kimblee is crazy but he's a great character, I love his lines of dialogue. He has some clarity in his crazyness 😂
We're reaching the end ;__; these last few episodes are a rollercoaster of emotions!
btw is Oh-liv-E-Ae, since the french dont know what sounds letters make
Can't wait for the next two episodes, they are fire 🔥🔥🔥
