If I hadn't heard David talking about it on the Making It podcast, I would have been wondering if it was AI or a green screen or something in that first shot with Wesley just chilling in the background. It would be easy enough for Wesley to add a blue or green screen to his studio backdrop build.
Stupendously fun! Was fun to see Wesley hanging around in the background. Too bad he disappeared and you had to have your clone help you instead. Table looks great with or without the game! Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic video. Love the project. I watched this with my daughter and asked her if I should start doing woodworking full time. She’s 3, but she said yes and I think I’ll take her up on that. Thanks for the inspiration, David.
Loved this video, and the direction you’ve taken your channel over the last year has been fantastic. The projects are interesting but, more importantly, you can see how much fun you’re having. Edits are on point with your humor and personality throughout, as always! Keep up the great work, Dave!
Beautiful! A great project, Simon now has more luxury with all this wood (rather than plastic). To stay 80's I would have placed brass flat head screws instead of these "too modern" screws.
Here I was thinking you'd cut new buttons out of acrylic. Love the glass cut out at the end. If everything is an experiment as you say, it is always good to have options! How about a matching Bop It table 🤣
Wow this takes me back to my youth!!!. David, congrats on the table idea it turned out great 👍. I have to say from your previous comments, I'm guessing that you have decided to get closer to your favourite uncle 😉😳 having him in your video, but the same clothing thing takes it a little bit too far not to mention the tight hugs 😂😅 and not forgetting about your innuendos about the Kyba pass 🤣🤪😳🤮. As alway's buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧. P.s. i laughed my ass off at this video, keep up the great content!!!
Love the Simon game in it, you said glass insert i was thinking long tall vase with flowers of dried plants popping out of the top. Don't get simon drunk, he will forget.
Stunning little table, Dave! Beautiful and brilliant work! 😃 Now you need some matching coasters for the drinks! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Awesome video, love the cameo. The project is Extra Fancy! Loved that game as a kid...back when you could take games apart. Screws? Mahalo for sharing! : )
Really beautiful little table. 11m27s or so. I also really liked the way the reinforcement triangles on the bottom looked before the circle went down. This was a fun one, Dave. Thanks!
This has become one of my favorite channels to watch even though my mom hates you. It's the perfect balance of skill, humor, and good looks. The one thing that drives me nuts is the inferior wood selection. I think if you start using red oak your projects would jump to elite level.
Your videos are always fun to watch, but the surprise Wesley was a Treat! This was a cool build and I was excited to see it after being teased on the podcast.
@@MakeSomething I have the same fear of table saws - you hear so many horror stories, so I don't have one. I nearly always use the router in a table mounted configuration, which seems a lot safer than when hand-held. Great videos, by the way - a good balance of information for both experienced woodworkers and beginners.
Beautiful! But when the hell was I in Toledo?
You weren't. AI generated.
@@MakeSomething Are AI generated @WesleyTreat hugs as good as the real thing?

Wesley is the best. (You're cool too Dave.) Hilarious cameo.
What a treat this video was.
What a Treat it was!
Outstanding video, delivery and end result! “Are you kidding me bro?”
Stupendously fun! Was fun to see Wesley hanging around in the background. Too bad he disappeared and you had to have your clone help you instead. Table looks great with or without the game! Thanks for sharing!
GREAT project David. 17:35 that really looks "old fashioned"
Fantastic video. Love the project.

Was waiting for this after hearing it in the podcast. Westley Treat cameo and not even acknowledging him is genius.

Thank you thank you!
Make Something TV Screen: Beetlejuice!
Hi Wesley

This video was a journey. Love it.
Turning ______ into ______ videos are my favorite!

P.s. i laughed my ass off at this video, keep up the great content!!!
Awesome project, and Wesley just chilling in the background was the best!
Great project, Dave~! I guess I should've held off tossing my Simon into the yard sale. Very cool~!
Wow you had Beetlejuice playing in the background, I literally just say it for the first time last night, I'm 39 years old mind you so that's odd.
Ok. Funniest video I’ve seen in a while 😂 actually laugh out loud a few times
I fully expected this to be another thrift store table purchase modification. Wrong.
You got some great interesting dramatic camera angles and stuff. And also funny comedy. Thanks!
Me always (even when I have two people standing right there): “Because I don’t have enough hands to help me”
Love the Simon game in it, you said glass insert i was thinking long tall vase with flowers of dried plants popping out of the top.
Don't get simon drunk, he will forget.
I thought "Is that a Wesley haunting your shop"?
Now I need an AI shop assistant just like that :)
I mean the build was great. The video…… perfection.
Wesley Treat! (You left your door unlocked, didn't you?) :P
Who's video will Wesley Treat sure up in next? It's this going to turn into a Where's Wesley game?
What a great video this was it makes me want to go find one. Played with my children all the time. It turned out amazong
Stunning little table, Dave! Beautiful and brilliant work! 😃
Now you need some matching coasters for the drinks!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
"Screw it from beh..." I kinda like when you work blue.
Allways great video with good humor laugh while you learn.
Awesome build idea... was this a father and son build along?
WT in the BG at the start was hilarious. So good. Nice build too.
Drill some holes.......pound some pegs.
Drill some holes......poind some pegs.
Great video and an inspired design but never saw Wesley!!
Really cool video and love that you can remove the game element if you get tired of it. Great cameos!
I just had an awesome idea for the channel. Make a new video every day!
Cut the bottom shelf as large as the outside of the legs then notch the legs and the circle to fit inside
For a green on green look.
This was phenomenal!! Also the @wesleytreat bombs were AMAZING!!!
Well that was a real Treat!
Awesome video, love the cameo. The project is Extra Fancy! Loved that game as a kid...back when you could take games apart. Screws? Mahalo for sharing! : )
I love how awkward you found using a hammer.
You weren’t kidding on the podcast when you said Wesley was in the video. 😆 Top work as ever, cheers David.
Dude. It’s trick *or* Treat. You gotta pick one
Very cool! I’m 100% with you on the router. Hey I’ve been waiting to see a cool Pokémon card display. I need a creative idea!
Love the high-energy, Gonzo-style at 3:48.
That is such a beautiful piece congrats so awesome
I like the direction you’re going these days.
Hi Wesley!! 👋
What happened to the chuck on your festool drill
Trick or Treat? Great Halloween vid Dave!
Wesley doing random Wesley things is the best.
Really beautiful little table. 11m27s or so. I also really liked the way the reinforcement triangles on the bottom looked before the circle went down. This was a fun one, Dave. Thanks!
Are you even a woodworker bro?!?! Next project, use only a nail file and patio paver to build a quilt ladder!!
Also, amazing job.
I love when you remake a classic game into fine furniture. This one is no exception! Simon says you killed it. Enjoy your new drinking game, cheers!
Paul Sellers is looking younger every day 😂
I need more videos from you. Both your builds and buying shit online 😊 love you work. Greetings from Denmark
Now if you just had used screws with a flat head for your gaming table, it would look so much nicer IMHO.
You have a beautiful mind my friend

Wow another very great idea always love watching your videos when you make things like this and it turned out amazing. Great job
Very cool project. Turned out great !
Cool project! I had a Simon when I was a kid. Will have to look out for one at the antique store where I shop for vinyl records.
Hi Steve! I still think about your wooden sandwich from like 10 years ago. It's on my todo list to make one.
Like what you did, great build
Best video for quite a while. It really came across as you having fun! love your work.
Drill some holes, Pound some pegs.
If you don't have a CNC to create the circle top, you can always use your wallet to buy a table from Furniture store
ha! ❤️
Nah, I can't find a single case for the evil roundover - ever - _chamfers rule ok _ 😂😂
I can't argue with this! ha!
the speaker looks bad from the side
Terrific build David! Now you can use that as a game or coffee table! 👍👍
I love the changes to the channel over the last year or so - it's obvious you're having more fun!
That said, please use a coaster.
What's up with Wesley Treat in the background lol
weird, right?
Can’t like this video enough. What an awesome project
Ok - that was fun. 80’s nastalgia
It was a real treat to see Wesley in this video.
one of your cooler projects.......
What kind of wood finish did you use?
That's awesome!
Simon says that’s a good video
That was cute. Manly cute.
This is turned out so awesome! Did Simon say, “Screw it from the back?”
Your videos are always fun to watch, but the surprise Wesley was a Treat! This was a cool build and I was excited to see it after being teased on the podcast.
JUST GOT A W.T. HANGING AROUND!
this was such an awesome idea. great entertaining video as always. love the cameo from Wesley Treat
Beefy as heck stickers when?
The hug was priceless. 😊
Wow. Great job, dude.
Very nice, David!
Looks fantastic what a brilliant idea you've given me an idea love your videos👍
This rules and so do you!
I found the comment that he doesn't like routers interesting. You can do so much with a router. It's by far my favourite woodworking tool.
I agree, you can do a shit ton with a router! just scare the crap out of me.
@@MakeSomething I have the same fear of table saws - you hear so many horror stories, so I don't have one. I nearly always use the router in a table mounted configuration, which seems a lot safer than when hand-held.

This was a nice Treat.
👍
your sense of humor never ceases to entertain me. this one had me chuckling at spots like you and Wesley dressed alike.
Who is the other guy ?
Great project and great editing and sillieness as always. 7:11
Where can we get Picciuto music 🤷🏻♂️
I need to get my butt in gear and make it available.
