Currently struggling in my chemistry class, I have dreams to be a doctor and I’ve been really discouraged by not getting the information fully. Out of Professor Dave, and organic Chem tutor you’re easily as good if not better! I find your style of learning to be so easy to understand and I just want to say thank you beforehand because it’s cause of you I’m going to ace my test next week

Thank you so much!! I seriously cannot thank you enough! You explain everything well, take it step by step, and even make really helpful analogies! I'm taking AP chem this year and it has definitely been the hardest class I have ever taken so I am very grateful you took the time to make these videos. Thank you!!!

    I have a question
We always use concentration in the form of Molarity not moles
If we have Hcl + Naoh = Na cl + H2o
    That means
1 M of both Naoh and Hcl are consumed to yield I M Nacl
Acvording to the rate of reaction expression and Ratio
    However if we
    Add I L Naoh 1 M to 1M IL HCl
Will yield 1mole Naoh in 2L
    That means
    0.5 M of Nacl not 1 M
    Kindly explain
    Thanks

buradaydım. thank you so much professor! 12.14.2024 i have a question: say, we have this reaction that can't be simplified: 3X + 2Y 5Z so would our rate of reaction still be (concentration of Y)/2 ?

You see they are not the same in the video. N2 is being produced with 0.1 M/s rate, while Ammonia with 0.2 M/s and hydrogen gas at 0.3 M/s rate. However, in order to make it an average or the net rate is equal to their respective rates divided by their stoichiometric ratios. Hope that assists well! 😊😊
