No, I can’t see it fitting. The iron case is tight as it is, no headroom. Also my front mount is designed only for the smaller cases. I have a bunch of cobra/mark8 cores in stock here if you need me to build one

@@eclifton4070 The explorer, tbird, or cobra case can be used on the SUPRA/SC300/GS300 - the IS300/BRZ/FRS use the smaller footprint thunderbird or cobra case
89-97 thunderbird SC. 93-98 MK8 - both are pretty rare but search local yards. I keep cores in stock but they are only for my customers, I do not sell just a core only fully rebuilt rears
Joel, you have any experiences with the carbon fiber clutch packs in these lsd 8.8s? The ones Ford sells for the cobra upgrade. I have a set installed in my 8.8 but I’m starting to debate if I should keep it or go straight to truetrac. Cars not running yet.

Did you forget the axle snap rings before you sealed the cover?
The stubs have integrated c-clips when you slide them in they lock

I dont get it. For the is300 the spacers are not used but for the frs brz the thin grooved one is used. Why that difference?
What axle stub seals do you use on explorer diff since seals are larger?

Does this kit also apply to the GS? I know the IS and GS are similar and can sometimes interchange parts.

No, the front mounting ear bolt pattern on the explorer case is wider.
This is an awesome kit, really expensive though.
