NEW T56 STUFF! Two new products to further improve the Grannas Racing T56 Magnum swap kits

- This video covers measuring runout on a quicktime bellhousing using a T56 Magnum index plate. The second part of the video covers the bluetooth wiring harness which allows for speedometer conversion as well as reverse lockout control.
In addition to improving these swaps with the new Tremec Magnum-F I now have some other cool items to improve your install. In this video I am going to cover two products that help make the Tremec T56 Magnum-F swaps I sell a whole lot better. First is the wiring harness for the transmission with integrated bluetooth speedo and reverse lockout control! Second is the index plate, which will help you make sure the bell has no runout and is perfectly aligned for the input shaft on the trans. If not, it will help you get the bellhousing within the .005 (5 thousandths) spec that Tremec requires. I cover how to set all of this up in the video.

When stuck at the 0.007" window, only use 1 offset dowel pin in the direction needed, and it will closely split the difference needed.

I see you tried 2 different bellhousings to help determine if the bellhousing is what was causing the runout. But have you tried different plates? I'm just curious of how precise the plates are. Thanks!
@Grannasracing will this work on a regular T56? If so, does the Bluetooth Speedo app have a screen to watch the actual speed and use a tablet as the Speedo gauge instead of an actual Speedo? I like the concept...a lot
Someday I want to put in a t56 into my mk3 supra. But no one does it with the 7m so the whole thing will be a difficult problem to get done.

Curious on how I can make cable driven speedometer work for the Mk3 Supra with your 900 series trans. Might use a aftermarket HUD and retro fit it. Keep us posted plz.
I refer my MK3 customers to a guy I know who makes the magnum mechanical adapters so it will work perfectly with the MK3 speedo.

Can you preform the run out with the dial indicator before shipment and provide the correct pins if needed?
No, because you still would have to install the dowels into the block. Also 2 different blocks may have variances as well
what is the shipping weight of the gr700 kit?
What issues would this cause? This was not provided with the previous t56 swap
it's a recommended practice on fabricated bellhousings. If its not aligned it can kill transmission input shaft bearings over time. I just want people to be taking all the right steps to ensure a reliable, long lasting experience with my kits.
