in this video we will repair the legendary 15' jbl 2235h / 2231h / 2234h woofer with a kit from Simply speaker repair usa, the installation steps for this kit are the same for repairing other woofers from other brands.
jbl 2235h, 2231h and 2234h have the same recone kit, they are a legendary midwoofer from jbl company, you can found them in jbl 4430 , jbl4333 ( pro version of jbl l300), jbl 4435 also used in jbl b380 subwoofer and many more...
the video is very detailed to help you repair your speaker without fail. the gluing of the reel is done by epoxy glue which does not forgive in case of fault.

Will this kit be compatible with jbl 2205?
Yes, 2205A/B/C/H/J, 2225H/J, 2231A/H, 2234H,2235H and 136H can all be reconed to be a 2235H because they have the same voice coil gap.
