Dr. Berg talks about twitching under the eyelid. This is called tetany and is a low calcium (hypocalcemia) situation. This is usually because of high cortisol, which dumps acids (H+) in the urine making your body MORE alkaline. Many people look at their urine pH and see it too acid and then start alkalizing themselves, when in fact, they are actually losing acids - a common mistake. Apple Cider Vinegar is the best remedy.

My eye twitching stopped as soon as I took magnesium. Burning and numbness in arms gone. In one night I couldn't believe it. I have Ms and doctor always trying to push poison in me that made me sick and did nothing. Magnesium is a miracle for me. No more crying and walking around like a zombie half the night.

@@pollypurree1834 When I went to medical school a couple of years ago, nutrition here is taught for only one module (3 months, a few hours a week) and just the food pyramid and basic vitamin stuff. It's like just one book, and not the massive books we had for every other subject and a few studies on PowerPoint on meat and intestinal cancer around the world and such.
I asked one of the lecturers about coconut oil and she was just "it's bad because saturated fat" despite my point of some cultures in Polynesia eating it in huge amounts having no cardiovascular issues. No mention of omega 3 vs omega 6, general magnesium deficiency (soil depletion), iodine and sub-clinical hypoanemia in menstruating women They also hadn't read studies on how bad linoleic acid is for atherosclerosis (sunflower oil and seed oils in general). They are just "unsaturated fat good".
Want to know about nutrition? Your doctor is not who you should ask. Even nutritionist, afaik, are just force-fed government guidelines instead of doing their own research on Pubmed (scientific studies). Doctors don't even know about the two types of LDL cholesterol. They look at cholesterol blood samples that don't differentiate and go "it's bad", even about total cholesterol incl HDL.
They know f all about keto.
Many "experts" claim it's oh so difficult to follow keto. Really? Some vitamins and electrolytes, eggs, meat, leafy greens etc is hard? 🙄

@@nainikabose5679 It turned out to be caused by my 29 years of benzodiazepine use (first was Xanax for six years, then klonopin for rest of the years) taken as directed, but given far too long. These drugs damaged my brain.
Then 34 months ago when I finally learned benzos are not to be taken over 2-4 WEEKS, I told my doctor I wanted to get off it. All she said was "okay, stop"...cold turkey withdrawal. Have never taken another.
The twitching became the least of my issues for at least six solid months of severe heart pounding, sweating panic and agitation, thought I might not live through it.
Now at 34 weeks after last benzo cold turkey, my eyes hardly ever twitch anymore. My heart still races and pounds, very anxious, jaw clenching and face spasm, mouth burns, migraines, burning zaps all over, hypersensitive to all senses and temperatures, can't sleep over an hour at a time, poor focus. At 69 I had expected a different life.
But twitching eye is better. Don't take benzos, and if you do, taper off slowly. 🙏

My lower kid has been twitching for about a month- came in during a really stressful move- I am also six months pregnant- with Hashimotos disease ( autoimmune thyroid disorder)
This has been the best information I have seen yet!
The twitch isn’t major, in fact, is less severe that it was when it first began- but it’s still there... ugh! Annoying!!
I am going to try the Apple cider vinegar 🤢
Can’t wait to see if it works.

I had this and cured it. Perform a very slow scalp movement by first moving your ears back in such a way that pulls your scalp slightly back, then release and slowly raise your eye brows in such a way that moves your scalp slightly forward. I do this movement very slowly and gently for about a minute and it relieves it by calming the nerve.

Thanks dr Berg for this vid. Its really quick but very informative. I got twitching of the eyes for 4 days and by watching and figuring out your explanation, I tried to boost up my acid intake which is taking 1000mg of vit. C then it was the answer. Yes you're right. Thanks for making short but extremely informative videos! ❤❤❤

I always wondered why one or the other of my eyes would twitch, and only at work. I get off of work and I'm fine. I'll try the 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with water. It would be easy to keep a bottle of it in my workplace frig to catch my pesky eye twitches. No one would ever drink my vinegar for sure! Thanks Doc!☺

It does not need a fridge ever - you can keep it in your desk. And remember to shake up the bottle before using each time as all the best nutrients settle at the bottom (this is called the "mother").

Dr. Berg, I mst first say that I absolutely love your videos. Your explanations are good diagnosis to everything that I'm feeling. This isn't the 1st thing that you've been right on target. I've been doing a cleansing causing me to be calcium deficient and to have loose stools. Then I started to get the quivering lip and cheek. The Apple cider vinegar worked immediately. I think I was trying too hard to alkaline my body. I'm having trouble maintaining that very narrow ph level and welcome any information that will help. Thank you for sharing your medical expertise for everyone to learn from.
