I'm a North East tribal, did my HSSLC and college in Tamil Nadu. I have always so much respect for Tamilians and i still do. During my time in Tamil Nadu, i never experienced any discrimination, they always treated me as a fellow human being. There are many things we Indians could learn from Tamil Nadu
My husband was Hindi speaking from Chhattisgarh. He knew10 languages but told me that Tamilian was the most beautiful and respected language in India. He loved it. He could translate all those 10 languages.
It is the oldest language in India alive today. unfortunately central govt instead of protecting it, encouraging indians to learn it, they have been trying to suppress it infact sadly.
@adityaranjan3553 of course you are a brahmin and will support hindi, sanskrit as sadly you have stood against tamilians without knowing you are genetically tamil. research history and get to know how aryans camouflaged themselves into brahmins and your ancestors fell prey to their cunningness. do your genetic testing and get to know you are tamil and genetically closer to tamilians, not aryans. they have been using poor brahmins and have separated them in their own land tamil nadu.

Bro...I am from north India state uttrakhand and I respect your feelings ....you know why Hindi is important for India....look towards china why china is superpower one of the reason is there is one language which connects each and every Chinese with each other....whole north Indian states has there own language but instead of that we support Hindi and used it ...which connects whole north Indian states with each other ........same thing in south states each state has there own language but unfortunately south states are connected with eachother with foreign language english.....why not we support our own Indian language Hindi instead of English.....and if you start using Hindi it's make you more proud....and no one force you to don't use your local language you also use it to your day to day activities.....I hope you understand what I try to say....thank you🙏❤️ Jai hind🇮🇳🇮🇳
Well I respect all languages..and all languages should be treated equal... But isn't every indian first language should be their native language like tamil telugu kannada ....but there should be a universal language in india also na through which any people of india can communicate anywhere in india...in that what's the problem with hindi...hindi is spoken and understood by majority people of india... And I have seen north east north side Rajasthan gujarat maharashtra...even they have no problem in speaking Marathi and hindi both and gujratis have no problem in speaking gujrati and hindi both north east have no problem in speaking hindi.... Then why people in south have problem in speaking hindi as their second language... No one has forced to speak only hindi...only thing one is asking for unity there should be a secondary language through which people whole india can easily understand each other.. If anyone has any other explanation or reason then pls tell...

He left because Periyar was against electoral politics, but Annadurai was keen on it. Because he believed changes can be made only by political power. 2. Tamil people are NOT AGAINST HINDI. We are against hindi "IMPOSITION". There's a difference. Proof:: The proof that Tamilians are not against hindi language per se.. but only against IMPOSITION is... "Hindi prachar sabha" is still functioning in Tamilnadu at its full potential and has never faced any violance in history. You can cross verify. The idea remains clear. If you have interest to learn any language no one should/can force you not to learn. But no one can also force you to learn a language if you don't want to. That's IMPOSITION. I myself being tamilian know fluent hindi. Learnt it out of own interest. I love Hindi as much as Tamil. Both are Indian languages and we should preserve the diversity. Not let any one take over the other's usage. Eventhough only very few people talk the minority language. India's pride is diversity.

As a North Indian living in Bangalore for 15+ years, I can say that no South Indian person hates Hindi as a language. They're just against the fact that it is compulsory for them to learn hindi, which is basically imposition. One more thing to add. A majority of Tamil people use initials instead of surnames. Surnames show which caste or group you belong to. Marathi will survive because it has good amount of speakers and lots of employment in its area. Modern children of India are shirt-pant wearers they wont do farming as first priority. So they migrate to other places and get dilited naturally. Like a farmer's son of TN will aspire to become doctor and then he may go to north side then get diluted. So this is natural. I only like farming it is native job of every place thats why farmers are most native persons of their respective places. Thats why real culture is only seen in villages.

Recently Sikkimese Nepali (Gorkha) origin people was tagged as a foreigner. We are 1.5 crore Indian Gorkha live all over the India, to be precise Darjeeling, Siliguri, Sikkim, Dehradun and most of the NE estate. Shiva Thapa (Indian boxer from Assam), Baichung bhutia (Former Indian football captain), Sunil Chhetri (present Indian football captain), Denny Denzongpa ( Bollywood actor, most people know him as katiya) and many more... Just because we speak Nepali language people think we are from Nepal. Which is not true similarly people who speak Bengali is not from Bangladesh. This issue need to be address. I hope your channel will do the best to address this issue. Thank you
And to correct ur terms u r Gorkha Indians and even if you speak Nepali you are not Nepali? What type of biased statement is this ?😂 I'm Nepali and I'm a Gorkhali because Gorkha lies here in Nepal not in sikkim Darjeeling. We call ourselves Gorkhas because our pre existed Monarchy are from Gorkha district of Nepal. So that's why we call ourselves Gorkhali equal to calling us Nepali. And who speak khas Nepali bhasa And I don't understand how u NE people call themselves Indian Gorkha when u have zero knowledge on khas bhasa gorkha people use . are you kidding me ?
Super insights as always. I recently did a motorcycle trip through Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Goa. I do not speak any of the southern Indian languages, but I picked up some key words in Kannada, Malayalam & Tamil. Did not face any issue or hostility when I was trying to talk with locals using Hindi & English. Many know Hindi and many know English. Even South Indians travel across India, and it helps them to learn some Hindi in their travels. No language should be imposed. People will themselves learn, based on location requirement. And of course, in every state the local language is preferred and favoured. That is natural worldwide.
You're right many people prefer their mother tounge to speak with people from their state but what for people who come from another States many people cannot speak English I don't thing so everyone is comfortable with speaking fluent english

Most of us mainly hates imposing Hindi & Religious politics.
Proud to see south Indians going against Religious Politics. I wish we north Indians can do this too but mostly people here hate each other a lot

And Hindi is relatively easy language compared to other indian languages that is also the reason why majority of Indians speak it and nobody is imposing hindi anywhere, government is saying because we should prefer an easy indian language to link with each other than giving preference to English which these tamil people give compare to hindi.
As a North Indian living in Bangalore for 15+ years, I can say that no South Indian person hates Hindi as a language. They're just against the fact that it is compulsory for them to learn hindi, which is basically imposition. I haveso many South Indian friends who speak with me in Hindi and I'm learning their language too. We have fun in all languages. Also another point, go to any random South Indian state, pick any random local, if anyone asks him any thing in Hindi, he will understand at least a little bit of what is being asked. But if the guy askes you in his local language, will you be able to understand what is he asking? He can understand our language, we can't understand his. So why isn't the same respect given to all languages? That is what the whole point is. Every language has its own history and culture, which should be respected. No language can be imposed on anyone. Everyone takes proud in their culture and language, and we must respect each other's culture.

My first tour was to Punjab during 80s when the Khalistan movement was in its peak. Except Tamil & English I do not know any other languages. But I learnt little Hindi with my own efforts within 2 months. And within a year I could speak & read fluently. By the end of 3 years, I learnt Gujarati, Punjabi, Marati & Telugu. Necessity will make a man to learn. No need to impose.
🌿🌻 Thank God he has given you a flare to learn different languages. 👍 It's God's gift ❤
@rajeshj2499 Why are you using it then? Same reason. Most people WANT to learn English.
@rajeshj2499 From a Dravidianist perspective, which has made Tamil Nadu into the second largest economy in India today, English serves us better than Hindi serves us.
It's just too much effort to study Hindi and not enough benefit.
Also, because most people in India also speak English, there's no point in making an extra effort to study Hindi.
@rajeshj2499e have choice to choose either English or Tamil. No one is imposing English on us. If there is need, we will learn English. Or else we dont need English too. We no need to give unnessary importance to other languages unless there is a need. We are learning English with our own interest. The people who don't want to learn English can learn their schooling in Tamil. There is no issue. And who you are to decide our decision. It's our decision to oppose language which is being imposed on us. You no need to teach us.

As a Tamilian, I can confirm that all this bias towards Hindi was to prevent any national party entering into TN. They said Tamil is important but at the same time don’t preserve the literature because it’s all about Gods.. similarly they say that Tamil heritage is important.. but they don’t preserve the culture or the temples.. either everything should be important.. or everything should be unimportant.. but they have trained everyone to think per their needs.. Hindi bias is to stop national politics.. Our CM talks about preserving Tamil heritage but never wishes us for any festivals to appease minorities.. he wishes for every other religious festivals except Hindu festivals.. leaving religion out, if there 10 people are doing a group project and if there is no common language for them to communicate, how will they ever do itit efficiently ? Same goes with a country.. our country would have advanced a lot more if we all could understand each other.. Also, so far, not even 1 language in India has become extinct just because Hindi is in usage in that state.. it would have just been a parallel language like English.. One more thing to add. A majority of Tamil people use initials instead of surnames. Surnames show which caste or group you belong to. But we use our dad or mom's first alphabet of the name as an initial. For e.g. If Senthil has a son named Anand, he will be named S. Anand. If Anand has a son called Kishore, he will be called A. Kishore. We are identified by our parents, not by our lineage.
We should identify ourselves as humans not by parents or linage .
Do you know what humans took so long to develop sense and science, it's the fear of death and how to stay alive long .
Due to the upcoming unstability in india it is taken that the children born after 1997 are extremely prone to poverty and will not be able to afford house throughout their life .
