Thank you for a great reaction! I was just as dumbfounded back in March when I discovered him. Dimash is such a unique Artist that I became a fan for the first time in my life. On top of being the best vocalist in the world right now, super-creative, emotive, Dimash is also one of the kindest, most humble and generous human beings out there. It is great to hear other Scottish people react to Dimash. Lol. It's so much mkre natural listening to someone's surprise and swear words to describe a reaction. He is covering a French song from an early French musical called Starmania. This is actually a goid intro to him but it really is mild compared to his stuff now. He is 29 now. I think for you maybe take a look at his cover of Freddie Mercury's The Show Must Go On or All by myself by Celine Dione because he sings them in English and you can compare them easier than songs in foreign language and also they are songs you won't know. He can sing anything from Opera, Rock, Pop and Rap. He was a huge Michael Jackson fan and has done tribute shows to him. You will never find two of his songs the same. I heard what you said about playing him in the car but his whole thing is really about playing live and it is the performance of each song which is as encapsulating as the voice.
Tbh I don’t mind the foreign music, I’ve been doing a lot of foreign music on the channel, so I’m kinda used to just ignoring the lyrics at this point! If anything it helps me concentrate on the music and the singing more!

Whatever your style of music, Dimash does it. He has so far sung in over 15 languages, plays several instruments, has fan clubs around the world and millions of fans he calls "Dears". Highly educated with a masters in composition and currently doing a PHD in music. He speaks 2 languages fluently, Kazakh and Russian, conversational level English at this point and some Mandarin. This performance was in 2017...you should hear him now. A lot is made about his wide vocal range, from baritone to whistle tone, but as Dimash has once said in an interview, what's more important is what he can do with it. I would like to first thank Romero Lopez for steering you to Dimash. However, you are only at the tip of the Dimash iceberg. Also, at the time of this performance, Dimash only spoke in his native tongue, Kazakh, and Russian. His first four songs were sung in French (SOS), Russian ( Opera 2), The Show Must Go On, and Autumn Strong (Mandarin), with only one week to learn each song. He was the first foreigner and the youngest singer in the show's history. The others were 10-39 years his senior. There is so much more to Dimash and his incredible voice, and I hope that you continue to react to his music...he never disappoints.

I know he's performed this many times and improved his French since then, but I really love this performance as it was how I first discovered Dimash over 5 years ago. I literally haven't been able to stop listening to him since. And, to answer the question: Yes, yes he is the best voice ever. (IMHO)

Dimash is the King of Vocals. 🇺🇸 fan here and I can honestly state his songs aren't really my "thing" but somehow at quiet times I find myself humming his songs or having his performances running thru my head. He is truly a once in a lifetime perfect singer whether his songs are of the "popular" variety or not. Mr. Lopez has brought quite a few reactors to discover Dimash's talent with his comments. Thanks for not discarding his (overzealous probably but true lol) comments. If you do another I would point you toward "Stranger (new wave 2021)", as it is sung in English and is astounding with all his vocal abilities...plus the ending is a killer showstopper.

Welcome to Dimash. Keep in mind this was in 2017 when he was only 22. Now at 29 years of age he is absolutely mesmerizing. He has a wider vocal range than you actually saw in this performance. He is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English quickly becoming his third with a little Mandarin thrown in for good measure. That being said he sings in about 15 plus languages. He does a host of different genres from opera, pop opera, pop, ballads, to even rap. He plays multiple instruments, composes, acts and even dances for us although he has claimed not to care much about dancing. One of his most stunning performances for me is a song he performed in Japanese for the Tokyo Jazz Festival during covid as it is done in a studio, so it is up close. You can see how he moves back and forth to and from the microphone depending on the note he is going to sing. Still will not see all of his vocal range. El Amor En Ti might show you more of it.

His God given talent plus devoted practice since he was 5 years old is why we can have the privilege of listening to this incredible young man. Check him out. He just blows you away with each song. I love them all but his fun song is Go Go Power Rangers for the Chinese market a few years ago where you see Dimash loving it. Olympico where he just takes your breath away and I'll die for the wind in the mountains at his Armenian Concert earlier this year where he sings one of their nationally loved song in their language. I came to this channel for BAND-MAID reactions, I stayed for... well, more BAND-MAID reactions. BUT, if you'd started with Dimash first, I'd be here anyways. Glad to see you diving into him, as well. His style is generally not what you'd hear on the radio but it is about as reliably amazing as BAND-MAID in its own way. And don't sell yourself short. There are very few quality reactors who have not already covered Dimash. I'd definitely put you at the top of the list of who I'd like to see react to him more. 👍
It isn't any wonder why DIMASH is thought of as an alien or super human being such as an angel or a time traveler from the future, he does the impossible, that even vocal coaches and song writers are hard pressed to explain DIMASH. THe human voice is a fantastic instrument, what is hard is taking that voice to the level of perfection and that is where you find the musical genius we know as DIMASH. He has completely dumfounded me for about 7 years now; and I need to hear his voice daily for my own benefit.

The song is actually very deep and philosophical. It is about man's search for meaning in life and death. Then the 'acrobatics' will actually make sense, because it wasn't without intention but to convey the message. He doesn't do much unintentionally. So you'll have to listen to a version with subtitles. The one from his Digital Show on his channel is great, because you'll also hear the evolution of a man from 22 to 28.

Subscribing! Just so you know this is but a fraction of what he does, & this was now 6+yrs ago & he’s only grown as an artist. Algorithms are funny, yes usually there are thousands of views, I wish you the same success. Please don’t be offended when some of his fans may comment not liking your cursing throughout lol- he comes from Kazakhstan & has a lot of fans who are more traditional & conservative. A lot of us don’t care at all, you do what you think best, hopefully take it in stride. There are songs of his that have more blocking issues than others, like Stranger- we are fine if you blur the image or whatever you need to do, it’s worth it. Jeff Buckley is.. one of a kind & Dimash’s big style may not be your normal, but I promise he will keep blowing you away & surprising you. I recommend Sinful Passion from New Wave 2018 (a year or so after the performance you just watched)- you’ll hear even more of his lower tones & runs you didn’t think were possible. And Olimpico- the version with the thumbnail of a string of white lights (will be from composer Igor Krutoy’s channel specifically). This version is from one of Dimash’s concerts. It is great to hear other Scottish people react to Dimash. Lol. It's so much mkre natural listening to someone's surprise and swear words to describe a reaction. He is covering a French song from an early French musical called Starmania. This is actually a goid intro to him but it really is mild compared to his stuff now. He is 29 now. I think for you maybe take a look at his cover of Freddie Mercury's The Show Must Go On or All by myself by Celine Dione because he sings them in English and you can compare them easier than songs in foreign language and also they are songs you won't know. He can sing anything from Opera, Rock, Pop and Rap. He was a huge Michael Jackson fan and has done tribute shows to him. You will never find two of his songs the same. I heard what you said about playing him in the car but his whole thing is really about playing live and it is the performance of each song which is as encapsulating as the voice.
Tbh I don’t mind the foreign music, I’ve been doing a lot of foreign music on the channel, so I’m kinda used to just ignoring the lyrics at this point! If anything it helps me concentrate on the music and the singing more!

Whatever your style of music, Dimash does it. He has so far sung in over 15 languages, plays several instruments, has fan clubs around the world and millions of fans he calls "Dears". Highly educated with a masters in composition and currently doing a PHD in music. He speaks 2 languages fluently, Kazakh and Russian, conversational level English at this point and some Mandarin. This performance was in 2017...you should hear him now. A lot is made about his wide vocal range, from baritone to whistle tone, but as Dimash has once said in an interview, what's more important is what he can do with it. If you continue exploring Dimash, you'll soon discover that whatever he does is phenomenal, in whatever genre and not only is he an incredible vocal artist, he is also a captivating performer. Enjoy!

I would like to first thank Romero Lopez for steering you to Dimash. However, you are only at the tip of the Dimash iceberg. Also, at the time of this performance, Dimash only spoke in his native tongue, Kazakh, and Russian. His first four songs were sung in French (SOS), Russian ( Opera 2), The Show Must Go On, and Autumn Strong (Mandarin), with only one week to learn each song. He was the first foreigner and the youngest singer in the show's history. The others were 10-39 years his senior. There is so much more to Dimash and his incredible voice, and I hope that you continue to react to his music...he never disappoints.
Whether you want pop, opera, folk, ballads, jazz and even rap, Dimash has it for you, Try Stranger which is in English, is like a film score for game of thrones, watch the New Wave 2021 version where he first sang it. You will have to put a filter over it as it gets blocked.

That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day bodyguards were at his door and now he is a superstar but without airs... just our Dimash.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to RUclips ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. Won).

Dimash is the King of Vocals. 🇺🇸 fan here and I can honestly state his songs aren't really my "thing" but somehow at quiet times I find myself humming his songs or having his performances running thru my head. He is truly a once in a lifetime perfect singer whether his songs are of the "popular" variety or not. Mr. Lopez has brought quite a few reactors to discover Dimash's talent with his comments. Thanks for not discarding his (overzealous probably but true lol) comments. If you do another I would point you toward "Stranger (new wave 2021)", as it is sung in English and is astounding with all his vocal abilities...plus the ending is a killer showstopper.

Welcome to Dimash. Keep in mind this was in 2017 when he was only 22. Now at 29 years of age he is absolutely mesmerizing. He has a wider vocal range than you actually saw in this performance. He is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English quickly becoming his third with a little Mandarin thrown in for good measure. That being said he sings in about 15 plus languages. He does a host of different genres from opera, pop opera, pop, ballads, to even rap. He plays multiple instruments, composes, acts and even dances for us although he has claimed not to care much about dancing. One of his most stunning performances for me is a song he performed in Japanese for the Tokyo Jazz Festival during covid as it is done in a studio, so it is up close. You can see how he moves back and forth to and from the microphone depending on the note he is going to sing. Still will not see all of his vocal range. El Amor En Ti might show you more of it.

It isn't any wonder why DIMASH is thought of as an alien or super human being such as an angel or a time traveler from the future, he does the impossible, that even vocal coaches and song writers are hard pressed to explain DIMASH. THe human voice is a fantastic instrument, what is hard is taking that voice to the level of perfection and that is where you find the musical genius we know as DIMASH. He has completely dumfounded me for about 7 years now; and I need to hear his voice daily for my own benefit.
With this song, you just wet your fingertips in the ocean under the name Dimash... React further to it and millions of Dimash fans will simply blow up your channel with hundreds of thousands of views and subscriptions. Dimash sings from classical to rap, he is full of surprises, have a good swim in this vast ocean of pleasures. Do you remember the Diva song from The Fifth Element, a movie with Bruce Willis? In this film, the song of the alien Diva was made half with the voice of an opera singer, and half synthesized on a computer to show an alien voice so that human capabilities could not cover the range and jumps of this song, and so: Dimash sang it calmly, which proves that Dimash is an alien. When heard Dimash sing, I thought that he was not human. When I heard what he said in an interview, realized that Dimash is more of a human than all of Us.

The song is actually very deep and philosophical. It is about man's search for meaning in life and death. Then the 'acrobatics' will actually make sense, because it wasn't without intention but to convey the message. He doesn't do much unintentionally. So you'll have to listen to a version with subtitles. The one from his Digital Show on his channel is great, because you'll also hear the evolution of a man from 22 to 28.

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. He sings in 16 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble and kind man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Each performance will leave you stunned. Thank you for reacting to our Dimash from a loyal "Dear" (fandom name given to us by Dimash, because we are dear to him like his family). Subscribing! Just so you know this is but a fraction of what he does, & this was now 6+yrs ago & he’s only grown as an artist. Algorithms are funny, yes usually there are thousands of views, I wish you the same success.
Please don’t be offended when some of his fans may comment not liking your cursing throughout lol- he comes from Kazakhstan & has a lot of fans who are more traditional & conservative. A lot of us don’t care at all, you do what you think best, hopefully take it in stride.
There are songs of his that have more blocking issues than others, like Stranger- we are fine if you blur the image or whatever you need to do, it’s worth it. Jeff Buckley is.. one of a kind & Dimash’s big style may not be your normal, but I promise he will keep blowing you away & surprising you. I recommend Sinful Passion from New Wave 2018 (a year or so after the performance you just watched)- you’ll hear even more of his lower tones & runs you didn’t think were possible. And Olimpico- the version with the thumbnail of a string of white lights (will be from composer Igor Krutoy’s channel specifically). This version is from one of Dimash’s concerts. It’s one of his most operatic songs but at the same time I’ll tell you people who love rock and metal love it. I hope you go down the rabbit hole :)

Some reactors get angry, some try overly hard not to do as not to offend, & some just say f@$k it and too bad if you don’t like it lol.
