    That honestly was not much less engaging than the experience of being prescribed these medications for 30 years in the UK. If anything, getting these medications through scammers online, was less traumatic and dangerous than dealing with arrogant, ill informed Drs and their militant staff. Thank you Dr Josef for turning the tide. I wonder if a case for polypharmacy could be made if you filled the questionnaire out several times, changing the answers.

      Agreed. When I was prescribed Lexapro I first filled out a questionnaire and the doctor talked to me for 5 minutes. She said nothing about side effects. I got that from reading the insert. I’m lucky I was able to taper off it over a few months without serious issues. I did get a spike in anxiety but I was able to work thru it on my own with time. I didn’t talk to my doctor about it for fear she’d want me back on the meds.

    I can see how something like this could be useful for a person previously prescribed the medication, history shows it, and possibly stopped it and would like to give it another go. But it seems extremely reckless for patients new to the drugs. And yeah, there was no substance to the questions. I figured at least a short, direct video call would be needed. Thanks for showing us the process because I'm sure many of us were curious!

      I wonder if they get a cut from manufacturer for recommending their drug instead of another one. Almost as if big pharma wants to get as many people started on these as possible because they know people will take them for months and years. I don’t see how this app could be worth it for them for just $150.

      @@claireh.7605 Lexapro is such a common drug and it's available in generic. I'd say they don't get kickbacks for prescribing these drugs.
      I think it's more of a thing for people who may be timid about going to the doctor or for people who don't have insurance.
      I have insurance and can get these drugs for 0 dollars...they get their money from jacking up the prices, not from kickbacks.

      @bulletproofair 3 месяца назад

      I think their real money makers are the penis poppers and hair drugs. Men don't want to go to the doctor because those are embarrassing things to talk about. So they just get them online and pay out the ass to not talk about their issues in person.
      And, in case anyone is thinking of going on Lexapro for anxiety...please don't. The alteration it does to your psyche is not worth the almost nothingness it does for anxiety. If you have anxiety, talk to your doctor/PA and figure something out that helps you. Don't be scared to talk to your doctor about what you've researched online. I do it with my PA and she literally searches online in the room with me and we go through the side effects and benefits, together.
      I have insomnia. Of course she recommended SSRI's. I said no, let's look at some other drugs, together, and we found a great path of treatment that doesn't involve destroying my personality with SSRI's. 😊
      You all can do it, too!

    What is most disturbing about this is handing out serious diagnosis and medication in absence of adequate assessment. (Then again the conventional system is no different in that respect!) It's also assuming that lay people will read and fully appreciate what they're consenting to, which is insane.
    No consideration given to who or what state people are when they decided to order this life altering medication online in 10 minutes!!!. Any 16 year old can order themselves an antidepressant that has the potential to cause of permanent sexual side effects as well as suicidal ideation.
