J. Rent personally I prefer MMLP2 over Kamikaze because of the fact that it sounds more complete as an album. Something I feel that Em is out of touch with is that good verses don’t necessarily make good songs. Though better than Revival, the production on Kamikaze is still very underbaked and mediocre at times, his flow is still kind of monotonous and annoying, and the hooks are just bad. In MMLP2, just about every track worked as a full song and they all came together as an album, while I feel like Kamikaze was rushed and kind of half-assed in a way. Other than MMLP2, this was his best album since The Eminem Show

Everyone has different preferences. The Eminem I became a fan of was the 98-02 Eminem of the SSEP - Eminem Show era where he was edgy and had tasteful uses of shock humor. A lot of his stuff was clever and witty and kind of exposed people for being hypocrites, like his line "want me to fix up lyrics while the president gets his dick sucked?" referring to Bill Clinton cheating on his wife with a White House intern (Monica Lewinsky). Basically pointing out the hypocrisy and backwards priorities of his puritanical critics by saying "bro, you're concerned with my fucking rhymes as if silencing me would cure all social ills meanwhile the president is getting sucked off by his employees?" The accents just come off as childish and immature for the sake of being immature, there's no larger picture there, so it's not as enjoyable to me.

I didnt think the title fit the beat at all because even tho Em did have a Tay Keith production in his new album on the Not alike song, it's still not his type of beat. But that's just my opinion, I'm a free speech absolutist, I think we should be able to say whatever the fuck we want. I also think that it's incredibly naive and childish to think that being able to restrict people from saying certain words will make the world a better place. In my opinion, restricting a word and making it forbidden only gives more power to that word, and when someone says it (and they will), it hits harder and cuts deeper.
