- Eminem’s record-breaking diss track, “KILLSHOT,” was the final salvo in his late-summer feud with Machine Gun Kelly. The scorching song was a direct response to MGK’s own diss track, “Rap Devil,” which was in turn prompted by the shots Eminem took at the Cleveland rapper on “Not Alike.” Production on “KILLSHOT” is handled by IllaDaProducer, who also placed several tracks on Eminem’s most recent album, ‘Kamikaze.’ The Florida-based beatmaker spoke with Genius about creating the track on the latest episode of ‘Deconstructed.’

DDOTM PRODUCTIONS agreed the beat sounds nice. But it’s literally the most lazy production ever. He literally dragged in a sample as the main melody, didn’t even make it. That sample is literally the whole beat. The actual production he did was just to fill in the main melody.

Kamikaze is phenomenal, and "Killshot" is a goddamn masterpiece. The chill beats married with Eminem's unpredictably technical flow and passion work together in such a cool and unique way, it's truly a wonder. Eminem and IllaDaProducer need to work on everything together forever.
Nothing with autotune is phenomenal. There is nothing phenomenal about sounding like a teen boy going through voicechange.
Killshot is not a masterpiece. It was good but not a top 3 diss not even top 5
