Hey guys, it's your boy Crypt, one of the 3 2017 R3D Red Reserve Recruitment Challenge winners. Someone how rapping extremely fast, making diss tracks, and freestyle rapping on Call of Duty landed me a flight to the Red House to meet Kiwiz, Formula, Gandhi, Nicks, and Randumb. It was my most memorable experience in this community. I hope one day you guys get to experience the same thing!

Killshot actually refers to a movie from the 90s, called Killshot. The main character who's name is Colson gets killed in it. Colson is MGK's actual first name.

The Slim Shady EP actually had a distributor.
That said, album sales now convert streams into album sales numbers. Eminem put infinite up on his Vevo channel. It got hundreds of millions of views. 1 album sale = 10 song downloads = 1500 streams/views.
So using the stream equivalent albums ("SEA") formula Infinite actually has well over 130K sales (assuming 200 million views, which would be Eminem's least viewed music video ever by a long shot).
So he's still accurate about never selling as bad as MGK even with a demo tape.

The line where he calls MGK a goof is alot bigger than people think. Here in Detroit Goof is a term used to describe Sex offenders or Child Preds. It was Canadian slang for that and we are literally across a river from Canada so it got picked up here. So when he's calling Kelly a goof. He's calling him a Child Predator. Well I commented this on the other video, but this video is everything there is to explain. I've read a lot of comments sayng MGK's diss was superior and Killshot was weak. The only way anyone can come to that conclusion is because they don't understand the level of depth and dexterity of Em's lyrics. MGK used playground insults that were one dimensional. I only had to listen to that diss once. Killshot on the other hand is dense. There's more depth every time I listen to it. True fans of Hip-hop will favor the word-smithing over easy to understand lyrics. Em's lyrics speak true to the game and each bar has several meanings to it which demolishes anything MGK had to say. This isn't a matter of opinion at this point, it's a straight fact.

You are right, but this looks like the “To be fair, you have to have a high IQ to understand Rick and Morty” copypasta. It’s better cuz he responded with more word ammo than MGK, nothing is too lyrical and deep on Killshot compared to Rap Devil. That’s not to say that Rap Devil is better, but that Killshot is just slightly above Rap Devil with lyricism.

To anyone who didn't get Eminem's diss track this is why Em won. Share this with all those who didn't get it. Eminem's lyrics are sometimes so incredibly genius that simple minded people just can't grasp it.
We absolutely got his diss. He definitely dropped money into gathering history. Track was fire, but a real MC would have responded within a week from the heart. Em is a beast, but he got beat. Remember when MGK said that Eminem would literally choke when smoking? Well, Eminem is supplying smoke and has the fire stoked, meaning that no matter if Eminem can’t smoke, he will still smoke MGK!
Also, the word “Swayze” means to make someone a ghost. This is in reference to the movie “Ghost” starring Patrick Swayze. Patrick Swayze died September 14, which is when this diss came out.
Also, Iggy Azalea had a sex tape, so when Em says that MGK will blow, he’s saying that MGK is going to be fucked, like Iggy! Also, MGK is crazy for attempting to fuck with Eminem, just like Taylor Swift is known to be the crazy one in her relationships, which are what most of her songs are about!
When Eminem says that MGK will have to live in his shadow, he’s saying that MGK will never become popular and will never been seen as someone who is as great as Eminem himself. This can also be a play on MMLP2's Bad Guy where Eminem says that Stan is a metaphor for not knowing what you have till it’s gone, implying that MGK is about to lose everything!
The Pac line is in reference to the rumors that Diddy had Pac killed. Em is saying that like those rumors, MGK will be a rumor, a ghost, a figment, a false story, all while also saying that he will never have a hit, just like it’s most likely true that Diddy did NOT put the hit out that got Pac killed.
Oh, lastly, the line about Eminem calling MGK a mumble rapper is basically him saying that MGK isn’t saying shit or doing shit, to Eminem or Hip-Hop as a whole! This plays in line with some other lines in the diss, like the Pac line, the 3 Em albums that had blew line, the wack version line, the 80 vs 20 year old line, the Lil Tay line, etc!
