In Brontez Purnell’s 100 Boyfriends and hannah baer’s trans girl suicide museum, we find voices in constant motion, whether traveling through the social and anti-social world in a kind of haze, or lying in bed lost in thought, in desire, in language. These writers examine and enact the revelation of chance encounters, asking: What liberation is possible? What self is possible? How will it feel? How will it sound?
