- This is a great way to jazz up some tired clothes in your closet or thrift flips that you can sell. In this video I will show you how to bleach a flannel and add tshirt graphics to decorate them with. This design features a simple to do animal print border, as well!

@@tmyershandmade978 ❤❤❤Thank you Sooo much! You truly inspire me!
@@createcece6360 my pleasure🤗🤗🤗
love it! I use basting spray to keep my smaller appliqués down. I actually just made one of these last week! I love taking my old shirts I don't fit into anymore and put them on the back of a flannel or jean jacket.
GREAT tip, thank you 💖💖💖
I just discovered your channel! Love, love your videos. You have inspired me to take my shirts I don’t wear very much to a different level. I recently visited Liverpool England, and bough so many Beatles shirts. I’m planning on making your plaid shirt with one of my shirts cut out and put on the back. Also one I cut the neck, arm and bottom ribbing off and I filled it up. I’m not finished but once I am I will wear it so much more!!! I enclose a couple of photos. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! I’m so excited to take my shirts to the next level!!!
Sorry there’s no way to post a photo, I wish you could see what I did. 😮
Aww I love that! Glad you are having fun!!🤗🤗💞

question-if I want to make several shirts at a time, can I wash them together after they have been dyed? or should I wash them separately? I love what you make, and how you show all the steps on your tutorials...I have made so many of your items, and love them all.
Thank you so much! That's a great question. You might want to try maybe two together and see what happens. My concern would be that the colors become muttled. If you do several at a time, I would be quick so that the bleach doesn't sit on any one shirt to long.🥰🥰🥰🥰
Well done!
Thank you!🥰🥰🥰
Luv it
I have been so inspired by your creations. Since I have found you, I have created about 10 outfits from things hanging in my closet so thank you for sharing all of your tips and creations. . My most recent is the bleached flannel with the concert cut out on the back. I got a little over anxious and went a head and bleached 4 of my flannels. When I went to put them together I discovered that all of my flannels have a pleat right in the middle. How would you suggest I handle this situation?
Aww glad you are having fun!!! Most of mine have pleats, as well. You just lay the cutout down where you normally would. The key to this, is don't spread out the pleat, let it lay naturally and sew as you normally would 🤗💖💖💖💖
@@tmyershandmade978 Ok, thank you for getting back to me Traci. I know you hear how much everyone just loves your passion and creativity. Well I do as well. Everything you do is just my style. I started doing the black lace duster with the tunic, bell bottom pants and hat. It came out so nice. I would have never thought of it or even how to put it together so thanks again. You also have a wonderful much needed talent for teaching.
Aww I appreciate that so so much!!! Thank you!🥰💖💖💖💖💖
❤ looove it
Thank you so much 🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘💞
Freaking love it
Thank you!🤗💞💞💞💞
I made a few yesterday, wish I could upload pics! But they came out so cute!
I ❤it so cool 😎
🤗❤❤❤❤
Would that be possible and secure with a Jeans Jacket?
Oh yes!! Great idea actually!🤗💕💕💕💕
♥
So no witch stichery to adher needed?
Lol none of that😊
where do you get the leopard fabric?
It was a thrifted shirt🤗💞💞💞💞
Is there a trick to getting your T-shirt not to roll at the edges? Mine always roll so badly.
I'd say use fusible interfacing before you cut.😊😊😊
@@tmyershandmade978 Thank you! I was considering that, but I'm such a new sewist that I was sure I'd actually ruin my vintage Bauhaus shirt, and I can't stand doing that!
It should be fine, just always cover the shirt with a tea towel if you are going to iron it🤗💖💖💖
PS. I bought some panels at a quilt shop.
So cool!😍😍😍
Love most of the tutorials, just not this one. But the technique is a big thanks.
